We recently had a full heating system including boiler fitted by Sureserve, I have to say from communication through to installation the tram were very professional and helpful, a particular comment is added for Connor and Nathan the two heating installers who carried out the work, they are an asset to the company, as the quality of work carried, knowledge, and professional attitude these lads have is one of the best I have experienced, a pleasure to have in our home and cleaned up after themselves after the work which is a rare quality these days - thanks again.

The two technicians who came and worked throughout from 8.30am until after 6pm in 32°C heat. Yes THAT day in Scotland.🥵
Moving my boiler position , loft to kitchen and installing new pipework and radiators throughout. Very polite and attentive. Work ethic and finished job was first class . Hats off to you Jaimie and Jody.

I had an engineer come by this morning. His name was Grant McNeil (hi Grant if youre reading this!), really friendly dude, proper down to earth kinda guy. Although we had him booked in for 4 hours, he did the work in 2. He was super quick, easy to talk to and very approachable. Liked to answer questions, and was very professional. Very happy with his services. Thanks very much mate!

He listened to the problem and started looking for the fault. He explained what he was doing at every stage of the process. No question unanswered. He worked quickly and cleanly.

Again if I was able to give a zero star review i would again today citizen phone sureserve again today about the heating stuck on to be told they would send someone out between 7pm and 8pm waited in again in extreme heat and at 7:55pm I rang sureserve and got a out of hours centre the lady said that the engineer turned up and completed the job at 4:40pm which is untrue I have got cctv up on the property and no one turned up now I’m having to deal with complete incompetence with this company will be taking this further including to any and all media that will run a story on what a crap company sureserve is

If I could give zero I would, on behalf of octopus these completely useless people were supposed to fit smart meters into one of our houses two or three weeks ago, they didn’t call they didn’t turn up.
Today they wouldn’t give me an a.m. or p.m., but somebody called me about 1:45 pm, I met him at the house and the whole experience ended up with me telling the useless idiot to leave without doing the job
There were two girls in the house, the idiot told me that I had to wait while he did the job andthat the girls weren’t good enough that only I could be there which was confusing to say the least
One of the girls was a witness to everything that went on, and she said to me that she couldn’t believe the guys attitude.
The last house they did for us, the first time they told us that they couldn’t find it anywhere to park, which wasn’t true I was there, then they turned up when they were supposed to turn up and this time left a complete mess, I had words with the two men that came
If octopus want to change the metres for smart metres it won’t be in my houses using Providor.

Extremely disappointing customer service.
An appointment was arranged for a safety check, but I was only informed of this the day before the scheduled visit, which was the first notification I had received. During that call, I explained that I work full-time and am only available during evenings and weekends, as I am unable to take time off work, especially at such short notice.
I was advised that they would discuss the matter with the housing association and contact me to arrange an alternative appointment. Unfortunately, I received no further communication. Instead, I returned home to find a “No Access” card posted through my door, stating that another appointment had been scheduled for the same time the following week.
When I contacted them again to explain that I had already advised them I was unavailable at that time, I was informed that they were unwilling to cancel or rearrange the appointment.
This level of service is extremely frustrating. It feels as though working tenants are being penalised simply because they cannot take time off work to accommodate unsuitable appointment times. Better communication and greater flexibility are needed.
Update: 30/6/26
After explaining that I was not available during the week between 9am - 5pm someone from Sureserve came out today (Tuesday) at 12:37 and left a 2nd No Access card.
I have still received no call back from last week & they have now made me another appointment for Friday 10th July in the morning. I have again informed them that I’m unable to accommodate that date/time and again I’m awaiting a call back !! However they did manage to call me regarding my Trustpilot review !!
Update: 30/6/26 Absolute joke. I’m now getting calls from Sureserve trying to say that it’s not them who have been round, even though they’ve put cards through my door with all their details on. Shame they can spend the same amount of time sorting the issue as they can hounding me about this review !!
