I cancelled my subscription on the 22nd of August (the day they took the subscription fee)and asked for a refund rang back 11 days later and they lied and said they had no information..having to go through my bank to get a refund...SHOCKING SCAM COMPANY!!!!

As stated in a previous review, I questioned if I had signed up to sure credit. They get you to approve a non existence payment! Then a few days later £24-95 is being taken out of your bank! I then questioned it and your told you signed up by getting non existence payment from yor bank! I phoned the bank and explained about this payment. It was taken of pending payment list. ( all this started, like many people where looking for loans. This was 1st August. 14 days later payment is taken, we all then cancel! Your told you had 14 to cancel! ) today I noticed payment was taken on the 26th August! If people are looking for a loan your not going to sign up to any subscriptions! As I said before scammers! I have just googled if your asked for for an approval for a payment but is for no money and then take money out is it legal, and guess what? NO IT IS NOT LEGAL ITS FRAUD! GET THIS COMPANY SHUT DOWN! THEY ARE DEFINITELY SCAMMERS!

My bank details were used in error to sign up to this service and I didn’t realise until ‘the free trial period’ was over and I was charged! Sure credit said that I received a welcome email with t&c but I never did because I didn’t sign up to it, I don’t know how I managed to subscribe. Anyway my bank are refusing to refund me and when I contacted sure credit to try and resolve this, they took days to reply and refuses to refund me even though I explained I did not sign up to their services.

I wouldn't recommend. Was sent a Prequalification letter for a double your limit card. Opened account and was told months later that the account was never eligible for the double limit. I didn't need the card and was tricked into wasting time with it by the letter. Be very careful with them

They are taken money out of my wife's account every month that was not authorised I habe reported them to the bank

Avoid although they are very sneaky , it is an out and out scam that preys on people with poor credit history seeking short term loans . You do not even realise you have signed up to them . They send an email re some 14 day trial which goes straight into your spam folder ( which few people bother checking ) They are not interested in refunding your money , just fob you off with spiel . Hopefully they will get shut down . Just criminals

Don't use this company ❌. Yesterday i was looking for a small loan and i was offered one but the payments were too high so i was eventually directed to Sure Credit i put in my bank details including my three numbers on the back of my card without thinking. Then i scrolled down to find that it was a subscription. I rang them to cancel and they sent an email. I came to Trustpilot to see the reviews i was horrified to read these poor people being scammed. I went shopping then i rang my bank and asked for a new card this morning they Blocked Sure Credit 😃 sent me a new card but i need to say you can get your money back from the bank you probably know that already. Please do what i am going to do, report them to trading standards or anyone else that can Anialate this company.

Continually took payments from my account without consent and was a nightmare to cancel. I had to cancel my card completely.

SCAM!!! Do not use, they charged me one time with 19.99 and then another 2 transactions of 24.99 each SCAM

This is a scam company. They tried taking payments from my bank account without my consent. My bank said this is a fraudulent activity from my account and they had to cancel my bank card to stop them from taking money. I never signed up to any thing Whatsoever just another company trying to scam you

Sure credit have taken £24.95 out of my bank 3 times now despite assuring me that the subscription has been cancelled. I was told I would receive a refund and another £24.95 was taken out of my bank . No responses to my emails either. I would not go near this company or give them any personal details .
Following this I have emailed everyday for the last 10 days , also spoken to someone on the phone who told me this has been escalated , further lies . Still no refund or contact .

This company took 3 separate amounts of £19.99 in one go. I rang the “customer service number” on the website and was connected to an operator who described themselves as a third party who didn’t actually work directly for surecredit.co.uk. I explained that I had never signed up to any subscription and the operator couldn’t even find my details to verify any account.
Funnily enough, an hour after the call/contacting my bank to let them know there had been fraudulent activity, I received an email to say “my subscription had been cancelled and no further money would be taken”
This morning I woke up to find that yet another £19.99 has been taken from my account!!! Through this whole process, not once have I had a reply from emails demanding an explanation or a phone call. Please do not trust this company!!

I have never heard of sure credit. Never used them or signed up to them and money was taken from my account. While I understand they are doing their job, I explained this to them and said it must have been a scam as I have never used or heard of them before and requested a refund. They refused to give me my money back or provide any refund. They were unhelpful and rude. Stay away unless you want money taken off you

I was not impressed at the beginning the first i knew was £19.99 was taken from my bank account I informed the bank straight away then sent an email to surecredit they did respond within a few days and the issue was resolved and I was told I would get a refund. Please be careful because I was just browsing and must have signed up to a subscription so they then took the money at the end of the subscription just be aware what websites you go on and double check everything I would recommend the company for their customer service but wouldn’t recommend what happened with the subscription which I was totally unaware.

I have reviewed this on the 20th of June for the scam it is you sent me a automated response how to sign up to your subscription you do 3d banking witch is a lie you hide your subscription in with the do you agree boxes at the end of forms for loans and other stuff preying on those who are struggling I love the scam you've got going on ... (being sarcastic) all the 1 star reviews say the same thing that people unknowingly sign up to you're subscription without so much as a confirmation email you steal off those who struggle then blame them for it I look forward to your next automatic reply blaming me for your theft

Payments were taken twice in a row without my approval. I did not subscribe, I did not approve the fee to be withdrawn! When you approve, if money is to be withdrawn from your bank account, it shows the amount! Scammers! I can see my credit score from my bank! The score seen in their system is also fake! They show people as if they are giving credit, then they record our information and subscribe us. I will complain everywhere!

As with Jon's review on June 6th,
I didn't realise I had committed to this service so I have lost twenty quid, which is annoying. There must be others!! There was no email to tell me I had signed up for this 'service', and no log in details or thank you for paying. I think it an audacious way of making money, and to receive a bog standard response is also pretty insulting.
