The sale of my home fell through because the loan was not assignable to the new owner, despite the contract saying it would be. This is a disgrace of a company.

While our agreements do allow for the possibility of a loan transfer, the original loan document states that the transfer application would be subject to the current credit policies and procedures in place at the time of the application. This information is listed on the bank’s website as well.
