As a university student my subjects only take 8 weeks to get through. I've spent half of this now waiting for a book that should have been delivered within two DAYS after ordering.
After placing my order on 5/11 I expected to receive it on 7/11. After waiting patiently for a week I had repeated contact with customer service via email, whom were very lukewarm and not actually helpful, simply repeating there was a PostNL investigation going on (which has been in the works for 3+ weeks now apparently). I also immediately made a complaint on my order on their website a week after placing my order, to which I received an email promptly telling me they would 'resolve this issue with me within 5 business days'. When asking about this in email I got curt responses, and no actual help. Evidently, it was not resolved within 5 business days.
Last week I got fed up and phoned customer service for a more prompt response and assistance. Gentleman was very understanding and immediately offered to send me a replacement because the 'investigation' was taking so long. Today, after waiting more than a week, I called customer service yet AGAIN to inquire about where this REPLACEMENT order was. I, yet again, got a pretty 'what am I supposed to do, they're investigating'-type responses. Today's employee seemed to not be able to find much info about the fact I was even supposed to be sent a replacement. I was now simply told to wait it out, couldn't even tell me in what kind of time frame I should be expecting to receive my order, and all they did for me was 'send a message after it to make sure they hurry'.
So, I'm just expected to sit here with my foot in my mouth waiting for Schrödinger's book, you know, because it is simultaneously coming and not coming my way...
As a university student I don't have the time, energy, nor patience to be ran around in circles by customer service claiming their hands are bound because it's the postal service's fault and there's and 'investigation' of which no one knows any intel or updates. At this rate I'll be receiving the book after making the exam for the relevant subject.
I don't appreciate the lukewarm tones I received; I don't inquire about my order just to be an annoying customer here to make your day more inconvenient, I'm a university student who just spent the equivalent of a nice dinner on a book I'm obligated to purchase (solely available in YOUR store) and get through within the span of 8 weeks. Now I possibly lost my money on a book I will likely receive way too late (and will thus render it useless) to even properly get through because I'm just another whiny pesky customer to the Studystore employees.

I have been waiting to receive my books for over 4 weeks. They never respond to e-mails. I used the live chat function and I was told I would receive a replacement package, however, I have not received a tracking number yet and it has been an additional week. My course is almost at the end and the -expensive- books are nowhere to be found. Simply outrageous.

The books I ordered weren’t in stock and I have yet to receive my refund, two months after purchase. They don’t answer e-mails, and calls to their incompetent employees don’t result in getting your money back. Avoid this company and just order your books on bol.com.

I ordered one item at the beginning of this month, but soon after I was informed that this item was out of stock. I needed this book as soon as possible and I couldn't wait for it to be stocked, so I canceled the order immediately on Sep 4. However, it has been almost 3 weeks but my cancellation is still pending. I tried to reach them but couldn't hear anything from them. I ordered a book 3 weeks ago almost, never saw it and no one answer the customer care number. Only automatic reply to emails. This is a legit scam, I'm suing this fraudolent business over this.

Even though the website looks very convenient the service itself isn't! I bought several books and wanted to send them back, but they don't even know their return address and each shipping is 20€ from Germany. After 5 calls and 3 different return addresses, i was finally able to send them back!

Prices are ok. Books not always sent very quickly. Delivery might take 2 days, and might take 7 days.
I asked Studystore to send me a complete reciept toghether with package, so that I could be able to claim it from my university. but they only sent me a very brief one,without mentioning the overall price. Even I requested a digital reciept but they didn't reply to my request. that was pitty.
Delivery just in 2 days!! They notified me at every step. Great customer service.
Although many times I received the book in time (or almost) for TWO TIMES I returned it and BOTH times they did not send me the money back until I texted them - over and over again. I had to push them to send me the money (for which I waited 3 months the first time) and I am currently waiting for the refund of a book, and it is a month already that I had sent it back.

It took longer than it should but it came in perfect condition!
I received the book next day, but it had some small cuts in many pages.
I ordered a bunch of books for a university period. It turned out I had the wrong version.
In the end they allowed me to return one of the two books outside of the return policy (14 days after ordering). Yet, the other one was not allowed to be returned, when they had both been purchased on the same date in the first place.
Pointing out this strange situation to them only resulted in a rather rude email. So in the end it kind of feels like they'd rather just take your money and get it over with. Plain awful...
Bad costumer service, always delays.
If you can avoid this store, do it. Literally it's better to spend some extra money on books from other websites. The first time I ordered here, my book arrived 5 weeks+ late and the costumer service told me I couldn't return it. The second time I ordered, my book was delayed once again. I wish costumer service would have offered me a better solution. I will not order from here if I can avoid it.
I ordered a wrong book which I returned.
However, my money wasn't returned.
There was some sort of mistake which led to a wrong transaction.
The customer support helped me get my money back and the send a nice compensation gift.
