They are not a company, they are just a bunch of frauds. They sell you books, assuring a prompt delivery, just to postpone it by months few hours/days after the purchase. Fast with taking your money, slow to comply with their duties. Moreover, their buggy website does not even allow a cancellation of an order to be probably made (a defect, or a well-devised ill scheme to prevent you from recovering your money? Who knows...)

I ordered 9 books about 2.5 weeks ago and they still have not arrived yet. When I ordered there were no indications that the order was delayed. After ordering I suddenly got an email which stated they had just moved and to expect some delays, which I was okay with. But they still are not delivered while my semester has already begun and they even state they will be delivered on the 31st of october!! This is totally unacceptable as the exams for which I need this material have already taken place by that time. The customer service is terrible and I've been in line for half an hour right now to speak to somebody.
Terrible company, do not buy anything here!

I ordered all my uni textbooks for this semester here. 5 pieces for 245€. The delivery date when I ordered was September 2. Immediately after the payment I received an e-mail that the delivery would be delayed and the books would come only on September 5. This was barely acceptable, since the first lectures were on the 5th. On the 5th the delivery date was then the 6th, on the 6th the 7th and so on. The first week of the semester is now over and for 3 of the five books, it continues to be like this. The other two books are now even supposed to be delivered on October 31st!!!! That's two months from ordering and an original delivery time of 2 days! I don't know if I will receive any books at a time when I can even still use them.
I am extremely frustrated and sad about this and my studies are already suffering.
And it's not just me. Many of my fellow students have the same problem.
It's gotten to the point where even studystore's customer service is now unavailable because they receive so many inquiries about this issue that they are completely unable to cope.
Update: 13.09.: I emailed Customer Service yesterday, but so far they haven't responded. More if anything happens.
Update 15.09.: I received some of the books. The delivery date for the rest is still October 31st.
Update 17.09.: At least 6 people from my program have not received any of the books they ordered. The customer service is not helpful.

I sold my books to them, got a confirmation that my books were recieved and that I would get paid within 7 working days. This happened on 9th of August and it is 1st of September and still no money. Called 10 times and everytime I was told that they see I sent my books but they didnt see the payment. I still didn’t get my money and everytime I get told theres an error in the system and they don’t understand how. Poor service

I ordered 2 books from study store at the beginning of April. One them arrived quite quickly thankfully but my initial positive opinion has gone right down the drain. The other book has supposedly been ‘out of stock’ for a month and a half. I didn’t know I was ordering an exclusive limited version of a common university course book but ok.
I needed the book for May but they kept pushing the date of arrival back and back, at this rate it seemed like it would arrive in August.
So, I decided to cancel my order after sending multiple emails that they have kindly ignored and calling multiple times to which they haven’t picked up.
I’m seriously appalled by the customer service - because the moment you have any sort of problem it is non-existent.
Also, from reading other reviews it seems like I won’t be seeing my money back any time soon (but of course they are quick to charge it when buying something).
Honestly avoid getting anything from here if you can.

I've ordered a book through this website: the expected delivery was reported as 'tomorrow'. I ask through the chat if the book was a physical book and if it would have been actually delivered the day after. They confirmed the book would arrive during the week (I ordered on a Tuesday or so). So, I bought it.
AFTER buying the item, the expected delivery date becomes magically 16 March (more than 2 weeks later than the buy date). I wait, then I received an email saying they do not have the book (that was reported as 'available' on the website) and that I will have to wait. I check on my account and the delivery date is now 30 March. I expect at least a discount given this horrible service, and I am not even sure I will ever see such book.

I have had a lot of trouble with studystore over de past few months.
Like not getting informed about that ebooks of the book that I bought was out of stock while after purchase I had gotten a mail that the material was directly anvaible.
For this problem I had called the support of studystore but they just gone through a procedure for a few times. (Total waste of time) after the 5th time of getting contact they seemed to know what the problem was.... Very bad experience.
After like 6 weeks I finally got my refund.
So after that awesome experience I was already 2 months busy with the study where I needed the book for. So I bought a physical version of the book since I seemed to have student discount at studystore for the book.
After like 2 weeks I have gotten a book. (Finally), sadly the book was damaged. I don't fully blame studystore for the damage since it is the fault of the person that made the book. After getting a new book it surprisingly had the exact same problem...
I just contacted Studystore again very disappointed in the quality they have delivered. But the last employee I have spoken to was very nice and understanding of the problem.
So I had received x percentage back of the price of the book.
Overall experience is bad for me at this point, studystore haves "some" nice employees that can help you out quite fast.
Hopefully next time it will be much better!

I ordered 2 textbooks from Studystore at the start of September and paid via PayPal. After receiving a few consecutive emails delaying my order with more than an extra week (and the expected order was already initially almost a month wait), I decided to cancel my order as in their conditions it states that any cancellation prior the order being prepared is free and a full refund will be given. On the 12th of September, I received an email that my cancellation went through and that I should wait for my refund. A month later, in October I contacted studystore.nl via telephone and their email as no one was answering where my refund is. At first they said it should go through, then they asked me for my bank details on October 15 (although I did pay initially through PayPal, so I thought maybe that's a reasonable request if they cannot refund me via PayPal itself). Then I after getting an email on the 21st of October, it stated what within 7 days I will have my refund and that they have done their part. It had already been more than 2 weeks, so I emailed them again. The answer was baffling because they told me they refunded me in September, which 1st is impossible as they didn't have my bank details, 2nd - nothing has ever showed up on my bank account nor my PayPal! Overall, they are trying to do everything not to refund that 72 euro (which especially for a student is a very big cost!) and are trying to misinform and lie about it! I am enraged and will be contacting the Dutch ACM and the judicial services in City Hall to see if something can be done because this is clearly fraudulent activity!

Be aware the E-book expires after 1 year without any notification and no clear description.
Send them a complaint about it. After getting a reply with "it has expired. You can buy the licence again. Hope this answer is sufficient answer for you." Which annoyed me really bad and never got a response when i emailed back again if it was possible to have another solution.
I also had some problems when I first bought the book. Took a while before it worked. Would strongly disrecommend using this site and not going to use it again myself.

They should tell e-books can't be activated when you are currently not a student.
Strange it can only be activated via a school account.
Strange way of working with not telling this when you order.

Terrible webservice. I ordered a e-book, in the hope of fast delivery, but I cannot open or download the book through their page. They should send me a activation link, but I have not recieved anything. I had to call their service desk three times to get a english speaking employee, which was of no help at all. Their e-books cannot be returned, so I personally just feel scammed for 50 euros.

Ordered books. I never used them. Then a year later I tried to sell them back to these people and suddenly they weren't neat enough. They send them back, to the wrong address. Customer service didn't know who was in charge and didn't give me any name. I just had bad luck they said. I'm never ordering books from these people again.

I ordered two books, didn't receive one of them and cancelled the order of the other one on the same day. It has been a month and I still have not received my money back, despite being assured that it would have been on my bank account by now. The customer service is not helpful and it's really time-consuming to solve any issues with them. I have tried to call them but waited half an hour on the line without a response. I would order from a more reliable source than this.

The book was really cheap, like 50% of Amazon price.
And this time, instead of endless waiting for my order, it arrived three days later.

Ordered a book on the 1st of january. Today (13th of january) I received a message that the delivery is postponed until the 20th of january... Nearly three weeks later...
Looking at the other reviews, this is not a one-time-thing. Other customers seem to have experienced similar problems. Yet Studystore has not improved their delivery over time.
