This is our second time working with David, his knowledge and experience really shines through and his attention to detail is exceptional. We went for quite a niche unique look for our stove and he went out of his way to accommodate our needs and also was really surprised how quickly he was able to book us in for the job. David and his teammate really work hard to execute a seamless finish. He is SO tidy too which is a bonus! Thanks so much David, hope we can work with you again!

David assessed the project, gave us invaluable advice at every stage, and provided a very detailed and itemised quotation. John did a really great job on the chimney stack. The job got more complex as the original brick fireplace and back boiler pipework were uncovered. David dealt with it all. We chose tiles for the hearth and his attention to detail was fantastic. The finished fireplace is above and beyond expectation. We highly recommend David and the team.

David came around and looked at the fireplace and gave us tones of different options to choose from. Allows us to keep the original brick in the fireplace, something no one else offered. The work was carried out over 3 days, David was professional throughout this period. Keep it clean and tidy. He took incredible care in all the small detail which show how brilliant of a craftsman he is. Highly recommended.

We approach David and his team following a recommendation from our builder. They have done an amazing job building our false chimney and installing a log burner. David went above and beyond to source the materials to create the look we were after. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

I would highly recommend David's expertise if you are considering having any work done fireplaces. David very kindly came out to look at the work a couple of times before finalising the details of the job. Once he started the work, with the help of his colleague John, they worked tirelessly and meticulously remodelling the opening, fitting the hearth and surround, lining the chimney and fitting the stove. The finished hearth/surround/stove exceeds our expectations and we are very grateful to David and John for finishing it to such a high level. We were extremely impressed by the methodical and organised way in which the work was carried out and can warmly recommend David's workmanship. David was recommended to me by a friend for installation of a wood burner. His quotation was very detailed giving us several options, separately priced.
He was very helpful in answering my queries prior to the installation. We had a wood burner installed, reopening and lining the fireplace ( previously an enclosed open fire), a new slate hearth and refitting the wooden oak mantelpiece and surround we already had. David was very thorough in preparation and protecting carpets etc and clearing up on completion. He was meticulous in his work and we are very pleased with the installation

David was easy to contact, and came to do an initial home survey. Once complete the job was booked in to install a flue and wood burner.

The work that’s been done is top notch and David is such a nice gentleman to deal with.

So the team came to my house on Wednesday 8th Jan - my fire place was well off centre which they explained to me and asked if I was happy to go on. I said yes and the team set about the installation.

They not only did an excellent job but moved the fire place opening to make it central to the room.

The team are very friendly and worked hard to complete an excellent job.

David was recommended by a colleague and did not disappoint. He was very professional, easy going, and fair, from start to finish. We’re delighted with the stove and slate hearth he installed and he was full of great advice. The house was left very tidy following installation too. Would be happy to recommend to anyone.

AVOID!!!!!!!!!..We had a stove installed and used it with confidence for the first few months, however, it then started to smell badly and made our house smell very badly so we booked a professional clean and then engineer informed us that the stove had been fitted incorrectly and was unsafe to use, this was also the cause of the smell. We stopped using it immediately and contacted this company, they promised they would send an engineer, however, this was over 3 months ago and we still haven’t had a visit, now, they are ghosting the emails I send as I never receive a reply and obviously now can’t use the stove due to the risk as we have 3 children. Appalling.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Quality workmanship, lots of available options. He kindly worked with my builder during our house refurbishment and installed a beautiful stove, hearth and oak beam -we are very pleased and would highly recommend!

Thoroughly professional from start to finish, there is no substitute for experience and David has plenty of that. Everything happened on time and there was a complete lack of mess which was very impressive.

I contacted Dave after a friend’s recommendation. He came within 24 hrs to discuss what we needed. He then provided us with a price and comparison with various grades of liner for the chimney no pressure as too which and a proposed date to start which we accepted. The attention to keeping our room and contents clean was brilliant considering the work he has to do. The overall experience was stress free and an excellent job executed .
