wish I'd of read these reviews before I'd bought anything from them
won't do it again. bought a digital download but now can't access my account to install it. customer service useless.keep sending a link that doesn't work . told they have a no refund policy .absolutely awful

WELL I LOST 2 KEYS. THEY ACCUSED ME OF SHARING WHEN I DIDN'T DO THAT.

Company sold me digital download advertised as working with X-Plane 12. It did not work, then company refused to refund money.

This store.xplane is really a big joke, they boast an incredible support team, but in reality they have absolutely 0 intention to provide any useful assistance. Besides that, my reason for contacting then is that paid good $$ for a product, then 5 years later I come to download it and it doesn't work, I reached out to them and they tell me that it's because the product is obsolete and they do not preserve old products ( in this case 5 year old products) on their servers, they proceeded to offer that I purchase the same exact product again. I then asked them to provide me with the contact if the developer of the product, and they essentially told me to find it myself.

I use and still use xplane 11. I purchased two new mini computers. One exclusively for xplane12. I installed it and it worked fine. After some time I got a message to try the Beta version, so I downloaded it and then installed it. Now up to this point xplane12 was working fine. The Beta version however, froze at " will init."
I contacted xplane support and sent the log. At first they said they could find nothing wrong. The they said it would not work with my graphics processor. I told them it did and sent them images of it. A little time later and I updated xplane12. Now all of a sudden xplane12 no longer worked.
I contacted them a again and they offered me a refund. I uninstalled it and took the refund. It seemed that they didn't know that it would work or did not want it to work with an Intel graphics processor. Either way the support leaves a lot to be desired.

Its the worst store out.

Flexing with they good support system but dont even answer. They only answer when its about making money. Wouldnt recommend anyone buying from there. Just wait till xplanes official store comes out. Accusing of sharing product but when you send them prove they dont answer anymore and let your account banned forever

Rude and SCAMMERS

I bought a Magknight Boeing 787, paid for it with my credit card, and unloaded it. There were no installation instructions. The plane had numerous faults, all of which were fixable, but the faults were easily fixed with an installation guide. The plane then asked for a serial number. I asked for it to be sent to me, and they replied that I had to send my personal documentation because I was from Argentina (clear discrimination). When I didn't send my documentation, they didn't send me the serial number. I asked for a refund, and they did. When I complained on the support site, they SUSPENDED ME and then BANNED MY IP so I couldn't access the store.
What they do is sell metadata from the site and ask for personal information to then sell it. They are CRIMINALS. They are rude in their responses and extremely violent in their actions. I hope Laminar Research opens a serious store. This x-plane.org store is a bunch of crooks.

Thieves. That's the word that best describes this site. Sells out-of-date addons, no longer functional, doesn't specify this anywhere, continues to sell the product without disclaimer in the product description, and they play dead, completely ignoring when contacted by e-mail. Absolutely to be avoided. -5 stars if I could, 1 star being already too much.

I bought Tecnam 2006 on their website and I didn't get what I ordered and they don't want to refund me, rubbish.

I have been on this forum forums x-plane org since 2013 and with each passing day the administrators become more restrictive and arrogant and more than anything Nicolas was the one who suspended me. They think they are superior and that bothers them. A person's humility is worth more than an attitude like the one they had.

In the month of July 2024 I made several criticisms of the aircraft developer for X-Plane and it is called Flight Factor. Flight Factor has not updated its airplanes for years and after launching them for sale they usually update them very little and then abandon them. I made this comment and many more describing this problems and scam asking for help in the forum and in Flight Factor technical support and a refund to the developer flightfactor aero and I never received help to solve the problems and the response from both is arrogant.

By criticizing Flight Factor within the forum several times due to the problems I had and they were never solved. I bought all the Flight Factor airplanes as they came out and know what they are like. Nicolas, one of the administrators, suspended me and after they lifted my suspension they told me that I cannot publish anything without his supervision.

There are forums where you can give your opinion freely without censorship from anyone and it is clear that forums x-plane org are violent and arrogant and want to silence their users. If you think differently from what they think, they suspend you. If you have a bad opinion about a product that they defend, they will suspend you. If you give a bad opinion in the Flight Facto forum, they delete your comments and then suspend you.

I want to clarify that I have videos and screenshots of everything and I never disrespect anyone. I always did it with education and courage. They disrespected me because of how they addressed me.

This forum that I talk about and mention remains active thanks to the great contribution of all its users and a great contribution of high-quality freeware. For example Zibo or mSparky and many more. I only mention these two as an example.

I am very disappointed with the customer care! I needed help to correctly install and use a DA42 but the website page where I was redirected was wrong and Eliot from Sales Xplane.org just told me to browse on the forum. It is unbelievable that this is the reality. They have a NO REFUND policy and this tells you exactly who you are dealing with.

The administrators for the Org Store are very rude. I was supposed to receive a product for winning some competition they ran, and when I reached out to the admin to claim it, I was met with a shockingly rude attitude. When I called this person out for their behaviour, I was met with lots of argumentation, then I was shadow-banned from their forum and their store.

After upgrading to X-Plane 12, I'm entitled for a discount to upgrade one of the products I already own, but the discount was never applied. I emailed them about it and, to no surprise, did not receive any response. I therefore refunded X-Plane 12 on steam and unlikely to purchase it again.

Several of the add-ons that I use are exclusively sold on this store and, as long as this is the case, I am highly unlikely to purchase X-Plane, and will happily use Microsoft Flight Simulator instead. If you search online, I'm not the only one complaining of very rude administrators.

I will not do business with the "org" store again.

After some successful purchases, i came across the purchase of a poor quality product, I immediately mailed customer support to receive a refund or a product exchange, they refused everything and directed me to the useless support forum page of the product, the product developers are never present. I tried to complain on the forum but they blocked my account for "trolling". These are licensed scammers.

I bought an item but I never received it. I had to go through my bank to get my money back as this scam website wasn't going to give me anything. Now because of this they have blocked me from going on their site.

XPLANE.ORG ARE NOTHING BUT THIEVES! . They charged me twice for a download and refused to pay it back because it falls in the previous year. When you buy something from them, it doesn’t flag you’ve bought that product as you browse other ones. Sub-par in all ways besides their billing system. And don’t worry we haven’t forgotten the hacking to which I see you are showing the same lack of true empathy… A Lack of ethics and customer service from Nicholas and his team, and as we read everywhere, time and time again show their true colours and let their members down. It’s not the money now, it’s just the principle of it. Their happy to take the money but not happy to return it when it’s not theirs..

really bad experience with them! good i found this site. I bought some stuff from them a few months back and nothing but issues. they would not send me a serial number to activate it and refused to give me my money back. Developers need to move away from this site. I will no longer use or buy several things from developers. Not to mention X-Plane is getting a really bad rep because of them, I will also be emailing Austin at X-Plane and show them all the bad reviews and how their name is affected because of these guys. After sending several emails to the x-plane org store several months ago they completely blocked me from site and store and kept my money. HUGE SCAM artists!!!

Horrible company and might be a scam this is what happened.

So they had a “sale” I tried to buy a plane from a developer. I put in my info and credit card and it all goes through. I download the plane but can’t activate, no serial or anything. Then a few hours later I get a weird email from them saying “Hey, your billing and home address are both from CA, send us pictures of your ID so we can address the discrepancy“

Sounded like a scam and a half, both my address is matched and credit card went through with no issues, I buy loads with my card and never an issue and now they want pictures of my ID that has my license number and address. Couple hours after that boom order canceled and now several days later still no refund! I filed a police report and a report with credit card company. These guys are a joke it seems, they want to collect peoples personal and private info and expect people to send it all over email and cannot guarantee privacy and confidentiality not to mention its not a huge company so huge possibility of getting hacked and they can’t protect my info.

Seems like they scam people or just refuse to loose money on fake sales or collect heeps of peoples private info and sale it. Of course I tried to warn people on the site but right away they banned me. But it’s ok I’m already back on site warning people in private messages about what happen and will post reviews of my experience and how I was treated. Not to mention 90% of content is all online I was told by one of their users.

Stay away from them and watch what you send. very bad experience with them. I didn’t even get an email from them explaining why they need what they need and what happen. Just a “oh you won’t send us your private and confidential information that will ban u and not refund money”. Very rude! found lots of horrible reviews on them, its time for a new site on the market. they over stayed their welcome and are taking advantage of people and peoples private info

I have bought numerous Aircraft from store.x-plane.org. Never had any major problems. The only issue I had was that the number of uses on my Activation key had run out, but that Issue was quickly resolved by contacting the support, who answered not even 2 hours later.

Total scam. Product is not as advertised and unusable but the amazingly cynical customer service are simply digging their head in the sand and ignoring the obvious defect. Avoid at all cost.
