If you like not being able to look out the window, love diesel fumes and a bus that shakes your bones, then the Sherwood Arrow is for you
What's good - we're lucky to have a bus service from where I live into Nottingham (Sherwood Arrow)
what's rubbish - the buses are old/clunky/stink of diesel/grubby on the outside/full of condensation on the inside/rattles over every pothole - by the time I'm in town for dinner or drinks I feel so nauseous, the experience is awful. Its time for electric buses just like the city ones.
Us country folk deserve fume free, smooth rides too.
This has to be the worst bus service in…
This has to be the worst bus service in history! Buses that never run according to their schedule, 9 times out of 10 they are usually late or don't even bother to turn up at all, especially if waiting for a bus at night, god forbid you might want to actually be on time for work or an appointment! If so then don't rely on Bedford Buses as the service is beyond crap!

I waited for 2 delayed buses at Dittons Road ( According to the app) .After waiting 45 minutes I had to get a taxi.

I was on the 63 (Fleet Number 10642 or 3) bus in Newcastle upon Tyne this morning sitting downstairs towards the rear and I could spell a really foul smell coming form behind me, 2 other passengers sitting at the rear of the bus obviously smelt the same as they decided to go and sit upstairs.
4 stops before I was actually due to exit the bus I decided enough was enough and went to get of the bus. Before I did however I advised the bus driver of the issue and he simply waved me away saying it was nothing.

Generally the buses are comfortable and in my area new , many electric. The new electric ones are quiet and when cruising smooth. They can be jerky when accelerating or decelerating.. Many drivers are pleasant and welcoming with a few grumpy and blunt to the point of rudeness. I complained by phone about early running buses on a particular route and was made to feel guilty for complaining. Timekeeping is poor generally on long distance or trunk routes some buses running early esp when the driver is going on a break.Local services are better but frequencies poor esp in evenings and on Sundays.
Really good service
I have been using StageCoach predominately for the past 7 years: from Margate in Kent, to Brighton in West Sussex, Dunfermline in Fife & Carlisle in Cumbria. I have used StageCoach to get to work, go shopping, have days out etc & highly recommend their friendly staff, frequent service & vast net work range.
I am not denyiny there can be delays & cancellations: but what service doesn't?
I really like the Stagecoach app: it is clear on showing me the best buses & ticket prices for my journey. Again, the times are not always acurrate; but working in Edinburgh & travelling from Dunfermline, I find I would rather have some idea than none at all.
I hope the app & bus times can get synced better in the future.
Worst bus service in my area never on…
Worst bus service in my area never on time sometimes never arrived at all as them are 30 mins now instead of every 15 mins
Disgraceful sham of a 'service'
If I enjoyed wasting forty minutes standing in the freezing dark and wet because a bus just decides not to run for the third time this week, I'd rate stagecoach fives stars!
Unfortunately I do value a company actually being able to run the service as advertised. I like staff who are helpful and polite and buses that run on time, or least within acceptable margins. For this reason I'm giving them one star, and only then because zero stars isn't an option. Stagecoach is a disgrace.

Some of your drivers are friendly and others are rude and have no manners, and they have no old school values/customer service. They let the side down! As a customer I am polite and respectful and I don’t like rudeness and disrespect. Nobody does !!

3 buses have went past on the way to newport and none have shown up to go to cwmbran bus station, I've been stood here for half an hour, I would rather taxi to and from work
I would like to make this zero
I would like to make this zero! I was first in the queue and put my case in the hold, not easy as the area opened already had luggage near the edge, on an X77 Glasgow to Ayr Service tonight and meanwhile everyone else piled on the bus and I was told it was full, couldn’t get on the bus and had to take my case back out the hold! I was hoping the driver’s ability to drive was better than his customer service! I am 67 years of age, had been travelling all day and back to good old Scottish service!
We pay huge money for nothing
We pay huge money for nothing. Most buses are late or do not even turn up, have to catch n.1 to reach wk every day and have to leave home 2 hrs earlier just in case. Just missed 1, the 7.14 am, I turned around the corner, the bus was coming already! It was 5 min early this time, the driver saw me, did not dare stop for me and had to wait half an hr for next one in the cold weather. And some drivers are grumpy and rude too. All in all very poor service
Pathetic excuse for a bus service
Pathetic excuse for a bus service. Shocking surprise. Bus to my area is 15 minutes late. Used to be 2 buses an hour now. I have to wait hour per bus for to be late. And infrequently cancelled without warning.
I wish I could give zero stars
I wish I could give zero stars. I am a regular user of these bus services across different counties, and they never seem to run on time. Even when using the app, buses on the map often disappear without warning. I honestly believe bus companies should be fined for delays. The drivers are rarely apologetic about punctuality issues, even when caused by factors outside their control. A simple apology for being late or an explanation that there was an issue along the route would be appreciated. I hope they can improve and catch up on delays.
Absolute disgrace
Absolute disgrace. Never on time. 3 buses come in 5 minutes and the next one in an hour. Prices keep going up. Buses are average to say the least. Unreliable AF. Avoid at all costs. Get a car.

Never come on time don't tell.you if cancelled
Just a terrible app
Just a terrible app, the schedule isn't even a guide anymore.
Don’t rely on the buses
Don’t rely on stagecoach if you need be somewhere. Waiting for the X17 due at 12:39
A bus that looked like the X17 turns up at that time, but the running board said 43
Yeah, your drivers forget to change the running board
This isn’t the first time this has happened
Constantly cancelled buses
Constantly cancelled buses, very poor service. I would not give even one star.
A legacy of letdown
Title: "The 22 Bus:
Public Transportation’s Most Faithless Fiancé"
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star for “I’ve waited longer for love”)
Ah, the 22 Bus—a masterclass in emotional whiplash and the art of the ultimate letdown. Let me start by saying, if romance novels had a chapter on heartbreak, the 22’s schedule would be the featured case study. It promises punctuality at 3:15 PM, but let’s be real—it’s more of a maybe-by-5-if-the-moon-is-aligned-and-you-blink-just-right.
The Schedule: A Suggestion, Not a Plan
The timetable you read online - LIVE!
isn’t a schedule. It’s a riddle written by a sadist. It says “10 minutes.” You wait. Then you wait some more. Eventually, you realize the “10 minutes” is the transit authority’s way of saying, “Surprise!
Time means nothing here. Also, your life plans are invalid.” I’ve waited for the 22 so long that I once used the time to memorize the local Pidgeon’s life story. By the time the bus semi-appeared, I’d forgotten why I needed to go anywhere in the first place.
Absolute shambles of a company, beyond laughable.
