We had a very nice afternoon sailing out to Staffa. We were pre warned that due to excessive swell there was a good chance we’d be unable to land on Staffa. We were given the option to go and take our chances, rebook for another day or get a full refund. I don’t think you can say fairer than that. Safety has to be the deciding factor. We went and couldn’t land but it was a good trip all the same. Good commentary and plenty of room on the boat as we were only 19. You get a good idea as to how full the boat will be as it tells you how many spaces on the online booking. We enjoyed the commentary and the crew were all very courteous and kind.

We found booking was very easy ,on our day of travel the whole experience starting at the Oban ferry terminal to the arrival in Craignure, the bus trip through to Tobermory and the boarding the Staffa boats was also so simple and well organised.
The actual trip on the boat to Staffa for an hour's stop then onto Lunga for two hours was great the crew informed all how the landings would be organised.
There was quite a swell so it's was a little awkward to get in on Staffa again the crew were excellent.
All in all we had a brilliant day and saw Puffins and other seabirds on Lunga and a glimpse of porpoise at sea. Thanks Staffa tours ,we will return next year earlier in the season . Barrie and Sue

Fantastic tour haven't read the other reviews but can't believe it's not 5 stars we have just been out on a rainy day but my 22 year old son came back and told me elderly mum that it was the best day of his week and we're only on day 1! Absolutely amazing - countless puffins on island full of wildflowers - so peaceful - and also passed and stopped to admire a pod of bottle nose dolphins on the way who played around our boat!!!! Whole trip wasn't spoilt at all by the rain. There is enough indoor seating for everyone on the boat, though most of us braved the outdoor deck too!

A lovely experience with cheery, knowledgeable staff who were chatty and happy to help. The experience was fantastic, it was amazing to visit Staffa and then see the Puffins on the Treshnish Isles. The bus pickup at the ferry terminal on Mull makes a lovely difference and the staff made extra effort to have us see dolphins and seals on the day. It was a day out my girlfriend and I will remember forever!

Had an absolutely wonderful trip to Staffa with Staffa Tours. After changing the day of the trip, the owner explained the reason thoroughly (weather/sea swell) and we were happy to go the day after.
Very professional staff, great commentary, lots of stops on the way - saw pod of Minke whales, basking sharks, seals and common dolphins - then Staffa itself - magnificent!
This trip is not to be missed! An experience I will never forget - absolutely first class!

Absolutely gutted after both my husband and I working in healthcare during pandemic. As With many others, we had a holiday cancelled to visit our son abroad and lost money. We decided to de stress and go to Iona as our daughter that we had lost was called Iona, and a lifelong wish was to see Staffa and the puffins, with 2 of our other Children. We booked several weeks ago and were very excited as 20 years since we last went. We booked two nights accommodation Nearby. A couple of days before we then received a message saying no longer sailing on those days because of ferry provider to Mull. I Checked and cal Mac denied this. I then spoke to an extremely abrupt unhelpful Maureen who reluctantly booked us for two days later. I then booked further accommodation. Now totalling almost £500. in the pm the day before I received another email saying cancelled again due to gales. We then went down to the office to meet two rude employees. I was upset but very calm and polite. They weren’t at all apologetic or understanding, offering us a week and a half later when we were back at work. Saying we ‘ just work here’, ‘nothing I can do but refund you in 5 working days’ I understand this time weather was an issue however on looking at forecast that is debatable. I also understand social distancing but on first trip booked this would have been known about. Maybe been very unlucky but spent hundreds on accommodation to never get either date given. The guy from Staffa yours was lovely and much more understanding. My issue was how unhelpful, rude and the uncaring attitude of west coast staff. I thought they would be desperate to get tourists back, maybe they are scared of opening up again and having folk back in their towns and I would understand that, but no excuse for rudeness. I am warning others of their attitude and before they have accommodation booked, to consider that they may well cancel on you

I was absolutely delighted with the trip that I had with this company to Staffa and the Trishnish Isles. It was very well organised and done so with thought to the care of passengers. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and keen to ensure everyone was comfortable and felt welcome aboard.

It's all plain sailing with Paul and AJ on their Staffa Tours boat Angus. We had what must have been our sixth trip to the Treshnish today. Super boat, knowledgeable crew, and genuinely great value. Nobody does it better!

We've just been out on the Staffa Tours trip to Lunga and Staffa Islands. A fantastic day out. They've got a number of boats and various trips around the Hebridian Islands, with the bonus that they put themselves out to look for and point out the local wildlife. They also put in a bit of local history, without making it too boring.
In the one day we saw, Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills, Gannets, Shag, Seals and Dolphins, to name but a few.
Prompt timings, good information, good vessel and really helpful staff.
Worth every penny of the £65 day ticket. Thank you.
