Stackcare has made a huge difference for our family to keep tabs on our elderly mother from 200 miles away - without ringing her excessively.
The 10.30am update is invaluable but we can check pretty much any time where she is.
It really has ben a game-changer. And very good value.

Good monitoring system. Reasonable price - one of the cheapest. Been using for 2 years and it has been very reliable. Got two alerts in the middle of the night when dad had fallen over going to the loo so has more than paid for itself. It works by being connected to the broadband router. Other systems have their own SIM card but I found that the broadband is more reliable.

The app is usually reliable but this past few months it sends alerts when there's no obvious problem and at other times the opposite. It often freaks out that there's no movement in a room when there clearly is as I can see via a camera app that I have. So sometimes a bit haphazard but generally good.

Really brilliant product - has given us a lot peace of mind while not being intrusive. It's also helped us to catch medical issues early because we can see how behaviour changed. 6 stars.

Finding Stackcare has changed my life since I installed it in my dad’s flat. I no longer feel permanently anxious worrying whether he’s okay as I can instantly see on the app that he’s up and about moving between rooms. After twice falling and not being found for 2 days my dad had lost confidence as had I that he could stay living in his own home safely. Unless we had carers 24/7 at enormous cost we would not be able to continue with him living independently without Stackcare. So I can’t recommend this enough it’s exactly what we needed to maintain my dad’s independence and quality of life at home.

Had an install issue but was sorted out very quickly on site and has been working fine since then we can see from the software what is happening 24 / 7 and is constantly updated and alerts us to any issues
Once you get used to the reports generated it is great for giving you reassurance

It is misleading that you need 2 different sign in’s for your account and for the equipment. Other devices I use do not do this.

A wonderful invention that helps me feel comforted knowing that my parent is up and about and well.

This is a very good product. My mother is over eighty and lives independently, approx 2 hours drive away. Me and my siblings can monitor her activity and see that she is around the house doing what she would normally do (in terms of her movement around the house) - for me the motion activity facility is the most useful. One minor issue is that on occasion a sensor will go offline - typically the bathroom or bedroom upstairs (the receiver is downstairs) but this seems to be happening increasingly infrequently. With it being winter i get regular warnings about the bathroom being dangerously cold but that is not a concern provided I can see through the motion activity function that my mother is moving around as normal.

I think Stackcare is a great product. My mum is still fairly independent, although has had a few issues around the home recently, so this is an ideal solution for now and in the future. It's not too intrusive and the sensors are very discreet. It can offer quick peace of mind that your loved one is up and about, and helps flag if anything is out of the ordinary. The team have also been very responsive and helpful whenever I've needed them.

StackCare has been a lifeline. It has helped me on a couple of occasions. It sends you an update every morning (10:30) and myself and my dad had a laugh the other day as it messaged to say he wasn’t detected as up and about (e.g downstairs) and the poor chap had just had a big lie in!!
Although we laughed it just emphasised the point that the app does its job!

Although I don't live far from my mum,I get an alert every morning so I know she's up & about,very handy as I'm not in her bubble so I know if there's a problem, & can let my sister know ( she's in her bubble). Any teething problems we had were quickly rectified, & anyone i spoke to was friendly & helpful.

The StackCare equipment arrived within a couple of days, it was really easy to install, and I love how easy and straight forward the app is.The reassurance of having StackCare in my elderly mother’s house is huge, especially as I live a long way away. Before, if Mum didn't answer the phone when I called, I had to phone her neighbour and ask her to pop round and check mum was ok! Now I just hop onto the app and it can tell me where in the house she is at any given time. I strongly recommend this for anyone with an elderly parent as it provides real peace of mind.

Although I don’t live too far away from my Mum, Stackcare has given great peace of mind. It is good to see that she is up and about in the mornings. It has also been useful for monitoring the room temperatures through the recent cold weather. Support from Stackcare with queries has also been super speedy. I would recommend using StackCare.

Installing StackCare enables me to get a clear picture of my 90 year old mother’s daily routine. It is reassuring to see in the morning that she has gone into the kitchen for breakfast and that she retires to the bedroom at night. I can also monitor the temperature of her home throughout the day and night ; ensuring she is warm enough. Also My mother often leaves the phone off the hook or fails to answer , checking her movements on Stack Care means I don’t need to rush over to her home to check on her.

In a nutshell, StackCare gives you Peace of Mind.

It's a very clever piece of kit - we live too far away from my mother-in-law to pop in, but StackCare allows us to 'keep an eye' on her without invading her privacy and constantly asking intrusive/annoying questions i.e. 'have you turned the heating on?'.

We wouldn't be without it now and it's proved invaluable during lockdown.
