My husband and I had the great pleasure of using Squib Photography for our wedding in July 2021. Steve was brilliant to work with right from the start, very helpful and quick to respond. He was incredibly accommodating when our wedding had to be postponed and made sure he could make our new date work.
We had our pre-wedding shoot a month before our wedding which was a great opportunity to meet him face to face before the big day, he immediately put us at ease and made us feel comfortable having our photos taken.
On the day itself, it was a joy having him around as he is so friendly and personable and got on brilliantly with the whole wedding party, although most of the time we hardly noticed he was there! Steve worked around us and made sure the main focus was our enjoyment of the day and spending time with guests, whilst still ensuring he got a great selection of photos. He had planned all of the locations for our couples photos so that it was done efficiently and we could get back to the party! When our timings went awry later in the day he was very accommodating and stayed late to capture all the important moments.
When we received our photos we were absolutely blown away but how incredible they were and how perfectly he’d captured the day. He somehow managed to capture every moment with perfect clarity and composition and we could not be happier with the photos that we will treasure forever.
Steve is true professional and his vast experience is so evident both from the final photos and his presence on the day. He really did exceed our expectations and we would highly, highly recommend Squib Photography to any couple getting married!

Our wedding was in October and we first met Steve in January 2020 at the wedding fare our venue in Bibury held. We instantly liked him, not just because he came over so well as a “people person” who was both friendly and professional, but also because of the flexibility he offered us when we explained we were only planning a very small intimate wedding for about 10 people and therefore didn’t feel we needed a big photo package. Also, neither of us are naturals in front of the camera so we were not really looking forward to all the posing we thought we’d have to do. Steve quickly proved he understood our wishes and we felt confident in putting our trust in him.

On our wedding day, Steve arrived earlier than we expected (this didn’t affect us at all) because he wanted to catch the best light of the day for the pre-ceremony photos. While he was doing this he also met some of our guests who instantly liked him. Steve was smartly dressed, he got on well with all our guests and immediately he blended in with our wedding party perfectly. Most of the time we hardly noticed Steve was there and as a result, we now have an amazing selection of totally natural photos, which tell an accurate story of all the fun, laughter and love that was present on our special day. We can’t believe it, the photos he’s taken are amazing.

We can’t thank Steve enough, he went above and beyond to capture our day perfectly, and to say we are delighted with them is an understatement. We love them all, so the hardest job now (albeit a very pleasant one as it involves reliving the day again and again) is whittling them down to a smaller selection for our wedding album. Having said that, Steve also sent all his photos to us on a USB stick, so we can actually keep them all forever.

We can’t recommend Steve highly enough.

We arranged a family photo shoot in an outdoor location to try to capture some nice family photos. He suggested a fantastic spot and had planned locations around the park where the background and lighting was good. The photo shoot was enjoyable, he made us feel at ease and we didn’t spend too long at each location. This meant that my daughter (4) and the baby didn’t get bored or restless and coped well with the shoot.
We got the edited photos to review within a week and we are delighted with them. We ended up purchasing more than we planned as there were so many we like and we will definitely use Squib photography again in the future.

We had Steve booked for our wedding in April 2020 following seeing his work at the wedding fair for our venue in Bibury. We were very impressed with the examples of his work and felt it matched ‘us’. Instantly when chatting with him, we knew he was the right person to capture our wedding and felt we had that ‘click’, something we looked for in all of our suppliers when planning our wedding. Included in our wedding package was a ‘Pre-shoot’, of which Steve captured some absolutely lovely shots of us and our 5 year old! Sadly... COVID-19 struck and we were forced to postpone our wedding until 2021.... but we literally could not have wished for anything more from Steve - agreeing to postpone until 2021 with absolutely ZERO hassle or impact on us! Thank you!
We subsequently decided to have a smaller, family intimate wedding on 10th July following church weddings being allowed and so we contacted Steve to capture this day - suffice to say, he was brilliant leading up to the day, on the day, and after the day when we received our photos.
We both can not wait to have Steve capture our ‘Celebration’ with all our guests next year! Anyone considering using Steve for their wedding, family shoot or anything should not hesitate at all!

We used Squib photography for our wedding in September 2017. We met him at our venue when we were visiting and he happened to be setting up for a wedding that day, we instantly liked how relaxed he was, and noted how smartly he was dressed ( and so would blend in with wedding guests!) We could not fault Steve, he was calming on the day, very relaxed and not pushy, whilst still managing to get all the photos we could have hoped for! In fact apart from the set photos I didn’t even notice Steve was there. We were thrilled with our wedding photos, they were better than we could have imagined, particularly given myself and my husband are not naturals in front of the camera! Couldn’t recommend Steve highly enough!

I knew of Steve’s work as I live locally and I was 100% confident that he was the right person for us, so much so we didn’t even consider any other photographer for our wedding in October 2018. Although we had only met him a few times it was like having a friend with us on our big day which allowed us to relax in front of the camera. This resulted in a wonderful collection of photographs that captured the day beautifully. We had such a hard job narrowing them down for our album.. 18months later and we have finally decided on everything! It was any easy choice to purchase our album through Steve and he has been incredibly patient with me!

We run a small business and have also used Steve for our professional headshots. It was lovely to see him again and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

I have used Squib for different forms of photography for a number of years (formal shots as gifts for grandparents etc...) and would not have had anyone else be a part of my wedding day.

Squib was professional from the outset. He sent lots of different options for our package and we decided to go for a full day (incl pre wedding/church/meal/disco) and the photobooth package with printing and gallery after. We are also ordering albums from him.

We met with Squib to go through the order of the day, timings, who we would want formal and informal shots with etc... which made the day run seamlessly. To be honest, except for when the formal shots were taking place... I barely noticed he was there. He was super engaging and creating excitement throughout which made it feel like he cared as much about our wedding photos as we did :D

On the day, all timings he committed to were on point - although he did arrive early so we could get in some extra shots of us getting ready in the morning!!! No ask was too big and he made the effort to catch all of the special moments throughout the day

I personally do not have an eye for photography or what makes a good shot so I appreciated the recommendations of different parts of the barn to create amazing shots, the different poses (what would make me look thinner ;)!!) and how best to show case my dress, flowers and my husband's outfit. This guidance really helped capture some special moments. Some backgrounds I simply wouldnt have seen as a good shot but Squib saw them and they came out beautiful.

My guests all commented on how lovely the photos have been since (of them and us!).

Also... the photo booth with unlimited printing. It is an ABSOLUTE MUST. It was a MAJOR HIGHLIGHT for our guests and they adored the personal touch. It actually was 100x better than I could have imagined - the pictures online of this do not do it justice as it is a proper piece of kit which looks standout in any venue. My friends have posted multiple shots online of these pictures - abso loved it.

We received our photos with full editing before the allocated date and they are BEAUTIFUL. They are better than I could have ever imagined and I could not dream of having had anyone else support the day. Our families are thrilled, we are thrilled and we cannot wait to get some on the wall and see the final albums!!!

Steve photographed our Wedding in Bibury in January and was brilliant - we cannot recommend Squib enough.

In the build up to the wedding, Steve gave lots of good advise and was on hand to answer our questions. On the day itself, Steve was in the background all day - our guests all commented on how polite and good-natured he was (none of the ego of some wedding photographers!). He dealt with the challenges of winter light but also spotted opportunities like an unexpected sunset. One of our relatives was filming and Steve worked well with him and even offered to share his lighting equipment.

The biggest test is - of course - the images of themselves and we couldn't be happier. They are natural, not over-posed, nor over-edited. Steve has captured many special moments amongst our guests as well as us ourselves. Highly recommended.

I could not recommend Squib enough. Steve is very friendly and was very professional throughout the whole service. He has managed to capture moments in pictures that we will be forever thankful for.

Steve was the photographer at our wedding recently on the 21st December last year and what a magnificent job he did! Choosing to have a winter wedding can always be a bit of a risk but Steve reassured us that come rain or shine our photos would no way be impacted. Fortunately we managed to get outside before the rain came down and every single picture is just perfect as well as the ones which were taken inside, plus the evening photos look incredible too. I would highly recommend Steve to document any special occasion you may have.
