I talked to Chris: amazing manners, very knowledgeable person. Well done SPUSU for getting such a gem onboard. A kind of a compensation for failing 2g network across the UK.
These guys are absolute stars, from wondering why I couldn’t use the EU roaming in Monaco-they explained it’s not in the EU! Which is fine by me, to transferring eSIM to a new phone, not liking the phone sending it back and month later getting a different phone and reminding me how to do the transfer again absolute spot-on no fuss, polite straightforward honest please don’t list on the stock exchange, it might ruin you!
Overall okay experience, email could be a bit quicker, but you can ring them up and speak to a real person relatively quickly, so that’s good.
Phone signal was unfortunately very poor for me, as seems to be the case with the EE network in rural areas. WiFi calling & RCS messaging helped get past this, but when out and about, getting no bars to 1 bar of signal just isn't good enough. I understand Spusu cannot control this as it’s EE’s responsibility, but it's something to note if you're thinking of joining them.
Porting my number took 2 weeks, whereas other providers can usually port next-day, so that might be a deal-breaker for some, but no issues with the port-in process.
It's worth a try, and I may come back in the future once the coverage in my area improves.
The best customer service I have ever known, especially in this day of AI answering machines etc.... straight through to a human and enquiry dealt with quickly.
Good network coverage and easy account managemen.
Get on them !
Customer service are very uneducated. Just got off a phone to a female worker with a british accent, speaking very eloquently but lacking basic intelligence. I explained i have an Esim from Spusu, and that the Esim cannot receive 'codes' only my actual phone number to which the Esim is inserted on can receive a code. She kept saying 'as i have said before' holding herself to be arrogant and snobby. Horrible service to say the least. She was not able to listen to me or learn something new, and insisted that the code would arrive which it never did. I emailed customer service to assist me. Absolute useless woman representing the company.

Sadly the opposite of the good reviews. Terrible experience.
They said esim in minutes.............3days later!!!!
So 1p mobile did it very quickly.
Happy Spusu blamed me and Their txt content was ambivalent and at times patronising. I.e we hope you had a pleasant day when patently that hadn't' happened.
I would advise particularly older people to avoid if they are not up to technology levels Spusu
are.

Constant connectivity issues. I can dial the Spusu number and get a “this person is not available” and then instantly receive a text saying I’ve missed a call. A normal text will go through fine also. This is when I have 3/5 bars of signal. Then when dialling a non spusu number I was getting a voice prompt saying the number had been changed (it hadn’t!). Then there are also occasions where the signal just randomly drops out, not sure why as they use EE and my main phone is with EE and I have zero issues. It’s not my device either because if I put my EE SIM in, or a friends SIM in (Three), everything works as expected - and if I put the spusu sim in my friends phone or my other phone it’s the same behaviour. They’ve clearly got some back end IT issues. Glad I only signed up for a 30 day rolling. Will be cancelling and going elsewhere.

Awful company avoid at all cost. They refused to respond to my complaint and I had to escalate to the ombudsman, which was ruled on my favour, whci forced them to fix their mistake.

Generally good connectivity but frustratingly they provide lower prices to new customers, which serves as sort of a stealth cost increase over time. Their website is difficult to use - few things are self service except thankfully generating a PAC code. I would have stayed if they were able to match prices they offer to new customers, but I'm off to a competitor who gave me the same connectivity for cheaper!
Been with Spusu for over a year now. Very good signal (EE), great to have roaming included, excellent customer service on the rare occasion I've needed it (real person answers quickly). Excellent value for money. One slight issue is that WiFi calling can toggle off occasionally and has to be manually switched back on (on an iPhone), but apparently this is a known issue and hopefully a solution will be forthcoming.

29/06/2026 Final part: Today I have transferred my number to another provider and my issue has been resolved by the other provider. I did get two emails sent to me from Spusu who told me the issue had been resolved. It hadn't. Clearly writing on this site prompted those emails. For me the story is simple. They charge less since they are making savings elsewhere. Not having a call provider that was reliable was a big issue for me. I have moved but I am paying more. So far it has been worth it.
21/06/2026 Just began moving to another provider. Just over a week with Spusu.
20/03/26 No. Problem not resolved. Original issues still there. I have been advised to remove my case number from this site. This is concerning itself since surely the only danger is from Spusu itself??? Anyway, it has been over a week now. I am moving to another provider.
19/03/26 This is the case number: REMOVED
This is my reply to your request for more information.

Ohhhh...I am having sooo much trouble with this firm. I regret it already and only transferred over last Friday 12th June 2026. Sadly...they are now ignoring my emails. I have a Split Port issue (No, I have never heard of it before either!). One accepts these things happen but to be ignored. I will likely have to move. My advice: Be careful about Porting (PAC Code) to this firm.

Absolutely disgusted with SPUSU UK.
Customer support is practically non-existent. Emails go unanswered, there’s no acknowledgement that they’ve even been received, and there’s no straightforward way to cancel online.
The only communication channel seems to be WhatsApp, and responses can take days. Even if you reply within seconds, it can still take another 1–2 days to hear back. In 2026, this feels completely unacceptable.
Cancelling a contract should not be this complicated. It feels unnecessarily difficult and outdated, and it raises concerns that the delay may simply be a way to take another payment before cancellation is finally processed.
A telecom provider should offer clear, responsive, and accessible customer service — especially when customers want to leave. Based on my experience, I would not recommend SPUSU UK.

I'm really happy that I found Spusu. I've already switched all of my SIMs over to them and currently have three SIM cards with the company. The service has been excellent, the prices are competitive, and everything has worked smoothly. I'm very happy with my experience so far and would highly recommend Spusu to anyone looking for a reliable mobile provider.

I’ve been using spusu for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a breath of fresh air compared to the major networks. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense mobile provider, this is it.
The standout for me is the customer service—it’s actually helpful and human. You can get anything sorted with a single email, no endless automated phone loops or being passed around departments. It’s genuinely efficient. The flexibility is just as good; you can change your tariff at any time without the usual "contract jail" frustration.
Technically, it’s bulletproof. They use the EE network for coverage, so the signal is reliable everywhere, but they run their own server infrastructure and software, which seems to make a real difference in terms of speed and stability. Porting my number over was completely seamless, too—it happened exactly when they said it would without a single hitch.
Honestly, it’s rare to find a company that just does what it says on the tin without trying to upsell you or hide fees in the fine print. If you’re tired of the big-name carriers and their complicated bureaucracy, switching to spusu is a no-brainer.
Highly recommended.

I moved my number to Spusu a few months ago and I’ve been really pleased so far. The connection is strong and reliable even when I’m outside of big cities. What I particularly like is that they don’t overcharge for roaming like some of the other networks. I haven’t had any problems with the network or reasons to complain. Highly recommended!

I was supposed to port to Spusu today. The port appeared to be stuck and nobody could reach me. My daughter called me worried something was wrong - now I’m back fully on my old network provider and nothing has moved forward. Nobody answered the customer service line or my WhatsApp messages.

Query was answered directly by human being, no menu or waiting for automated service. Chris was patient and listened to my query, which he then resolved immediately without fuss or bother.
Expect the connectivity and mobile service to be just as good!
