Since I renewed my Speedy PC …

Since I renewed my Speedy PC subscription I have had nothing but probs with my PC.
Being re-directed to Digital Care for something I do not want has been a pain.
I will try and get my money back, that's the end for me with Speedy PC.

After receiving your response, I ran a scan and watched what happened when the scan ended. There was a split second notification that the scan was complete then the app went directly on to the clean-up.
I reviewed the options which were solely related to when I wanted to be notified if something was attempting to change the computer. None of these seemed related to causing the app to stop and wait for input before proceeding to the clean-up.
Am I missing something? If so, how do I access it?

I would like to address your comments, in regards to the scan results within SpeedyPC Pro. There is a way to review the items found after the scan is done. This would be prior to clicking the Fix All button.

Once a scan is complete, you will notice a number of items under each category, next to this, you will find an Edit button. Click on this Edit, and you may review the items that were determined for cleanup during the scan.

You may review, and remove any item you wish to leave by removing the checkmark within the box next to that specific item. Alternatively, you may also click on Ignore should you wish to ensure SpeedyPC Pro does not remove the specific item in future scans.

To begin, lets ensure the settings are correct within your software. Please open SpeedyPC Pro, click on About, and ensure you have the most up to date Product Version, 3.3.30. If this is not indicated correctly, please click on Check for Updates... and install any required updates.

Next, let's have you check the General Settings. With SpeedyPC Pro open, click on Settings, then General Settings. Please ensure there is a checkmark within each category you wish to have enabled.

If these steps do not resolve the current issue, we invite you to submit a case to our Customer Support department so we might further investigate the issue.

Sometimes takes a long time to complete the scan. All the "remember me" user names etc are wiped.

I would like to address each of your concerns, and hope that we can ensure SpeedyPC Pro is working well for you.

Depending on how long the scan is taking to complete, if anything longer than 15 minutes, we ask that you please contact our support department to investigate further for you. In the meantime, lets ensure you have the most up to date program version.

Open SpeedyPC Pro, click on About, the Product Version should show as 3.3.30, if not, please click on Check for Updates...and install any required updates.

In regards to your user login details, deleting saved passwords and login information is intended to increase the safety and security of your information. However, it is not a critical security step and generally can be disabled safely.

To disable this feature of your software and preserve login data in future scans, please follow the steps below.

1. Click the Settings button on the main screen.
2. Click the Privacy Settings button.
3. In the Internet Browsing History section, click on the Internet Browser that you use.
4. Remove the check box next to Cookies, and ensure that the box next to Saved Passwords is also unchecked.

Depending on the level of security you want, you can also deselect "History (visited sites)", and "Auto-Complete form data".
