I have been using the services of Speedy Locksmith for several times already and I can not be more satisfied. The team is showing up really fast, probably for 15-20 mins and is really friendly. Yes, the prices are not the best but I think that for this level of job realisation is reasonable. The professionals are coming fully equipped and uniformed and are not facing struggles no matter what's the type of the issue.
I would recommend and use it again.

I will just share my experience, and let people decide for themselves. On a normal working day at 4pm l experienced a fault with my front door and ended up locked out of my house. I called speedylocksmith.co.uk, was quoted 75£ for the outcall, plus service once the nature of the problem had been assessed. When the locksmith arrived (Vlad), he quoted me up to 200£ plus VAT, according to the length and complexity of the job, which he could not yet determine. He proceeded to make several attempts, ending up opening the door within the hour by drilling through handles, lock and door. The final price I was requested to pay for an hour of thoroughly destructive job was 310£, as I realized the call out wasnt included in the quote.

I think this is already an extortionate price, but the locksmith didn't stop here. When asked to quote me the price for getting the door back to normal, he came up with a rough estimate of 300£ for the multipoint system (later purchased online for 80£), 189£ for a British standard lock (available from Screwfix for 25£), 115£ for a budget lock (10£ from Screwfix). We didnt get to talk about the handles...

Obviously I let this go and fixed my door easily by my own means. The problem is, once you are hooked with that hefty call out charge, they will keep hitting you with ridiculously high charges.
