Buy at your own risk
I don't recommend using this company to buy items. The customer care is a total disappointment. When I placed the order it was showing me one amount, but they charged my credit card a higher amount. Customer service is saying it is a bug in their system, but refused to refund the difference. It seems we customers have to pay for their system issues.

Terrible service
I ordered from Souq.com on the 7th December and the items were meant to be delivered by the 12th. Of course, that date came and went with no delivery. I cancelled the order a day later and I haven't heard anything abut processing of the cancellation. It is now the 24th December. I receive no help when I email. They just send the generic computer generated responses. Awful service. Don't buy from this company.

Utterly Disgraceful service
Ordered a tv last week, was meant to be delivered yesterday during office hours, didn't turn up until 7.30pm when i was no longer there (No call to say it would be late). Was then meant to be delivered the today between 10am-12pm...obviously it didn't and the courier service didn't even have the decency to call and let me know!
Amazon this is the 3rd time this has happened to me (not including the time i ordered a new TAG watch and it turned up damaged and second hand)...you need to sort this out as its an utter disgrace!

Product reviews and seller reviews are implemented in a way to discourage you from reviewing or reading people's reviews.
Filtering and sorting is horrible.
Sellers can put whatever they want in descriptions about products or false advertise and cheat customers and souq does not take any measures.
Finally delivery takes at least 3 working days when lucky but usually upwards of 1 to 2 weeks.
Souq.com is the perfect example of a crappy marketplace you get when there is no competition and they are your only option. When jadopado was still working i would have never bothered with suck a crappy website.
I would go as far to state that aliexpress has better quality control, customer service and protection.
A score of "1" is quite generous lucky them "-1" is not possible

I thought after acquisition from Amazon, Souq will have some major changes as to how they deal with their customers. But I'm sad to say that their customer service is still pathetic atleast in KSA.
Don't waste your time and money.
They will deliver different items to the ones you ordered and then not give you your money back and make you spend hours on the phone and wasting time in their pointless online complaints system which NOBODY reads... Save your time and buy from a store or another online store. Won't be long until another company pushes souq.com out of the market. They are dying.
Positive experience
Since 2014 I have made several purchases, 6 or 8 items with cost from 50 to 1500 AED . The latest was done on 14 of October 2017. The order was delivered 1 day before scheduled day.
Only once I have had a problem as item was unsealed but supposed to be new. Without any problems it was accepted back and money refunded within 10 days - 2 weeks.
Pure positive experience.
Souq.com - Really Bad After-Sales Service
I purchased a smartphone device (OnePlus 5 Phone) from Souq (Order ID: #1043144015338).
Within weeks after purchase, The phone was giving me problems as it kept restarting by itself - While using the device and also while it was just kept idle. I made a complaint and the Souq Customer Service Guys collected the device and said they repaired it (By Re-Flashing the Software) and gave it back saying it is working normally.
Within a Week again the device started giving the same problem. I tried re-formatting the phone and restoring to factory settings several times but there is no difference. Now the problem has become so much worse that it keeps restarting several times a day and I am unable to use the device sometimes when I an in urgent need of it. This is a phone which I use for my work purposes and the fact that it was returned to me without being properly repaired has caused a lot of inconvenience to me.
I made a complaint again on 2nd October 2017 regarding the same issue. Till now no one has bothered to call me even though the customer service person on the phone said someone will contact me within 48 Hours. I called you back again after 48 Hours to remind them myself as there was no response from their side. And again, No one has called me back. I then sent them an email and demanded that they take back the device and provide me with a new device or issue me a refund. This device has some hardware issue and it cannot be resolved by just re-flashing the software. I explained this to Customer Service Person when they took the device for repair the last time and they ignored my advice and just sent it back to me after Re-Flashing the Software. I cannot keep wasting my time by re-formatting it again and again and facing the same problem. They just sent an email and said they can only repair the device and apparently the replacement will only happen if the device is repaired 3 times and still has the same problem !! What kind of logic is this ? So the customer has to keep suffering with the same problem till he makes 3 complaints and the device is repaired 3 times ??? If they know something is wrong with the device, Why not just replace it or issue a refund ??
I have been such a loyal and regular customer of Souq.com and I have purchased 100's of products from them over the years. This is the first time I had a problem with my product and I must say I am really disappointed with the After-Sales Service. I will not be purchasing anything from them after this terrible experience. There are many better websites out there and I urge everyone to stop using Souq.com. They have become arrogant because of the growth in their business and they feel they can make good profits without providing customer service !!
Worst online shopping experience ever
I have ordered twice from the website and it never arrived on time. Every time the shipment goes to a different location like Jeddah and Abha and my address is in the eastern province. The online system is rubbish and the delivery people are careless. Never buying from them again and I will not recommend it to anyone
Crappy customer service
I tried to buy from this site twice.
Once before they were purchased by Amazon, and it was horrible. the item was supposed to be delivered in one week, but right on the delivery date, they change the status to not available. I had to wait another two weeks to get my money back. I don't understand why or how the seller figured out the last minute that the item was not available.
I avoided buying anything from them since, but when Amazon, which in my opinion is the best customer service company on the planet, purchased Souq.com, I though things would be different, and I tried my luck again with a couple of items, both of which were listed as fulfilled by Souq.com. Delivery date came, and I had nothing. I filed a complaint, but got no answer after 24 hours as they said I would. I called, and no use, as everyone experienced, they tell you they will call back, but never do.
But the big surprise was when I checked on the status of my complain online, it said ticket closed! but I had no deliveries, no products, and no response from customer service.
To be honest, I'm not too surprised. It's the same crap I experienced with Ali Baba Express, and I would not expect anything different from a company in the Middle East. But I am, for the first time in eight years, disappointed with Amazon for aligning themselves with such a crappy company.

I recieved several faulted products and when i attempted to review them to alert potential buyers they wrote me an emaik saying that this is a complaint and not a review and that they will not be published.
I asked for a return of the products and they didnt credit my account except for after continuous follow ups for more than one month... With the credit i ordered other products and they havent reached me for 2 weeks and when i contacted them they told me the shipping address is innclear even though they have delivered over 20 products to the very same address...

Ease of shopping, delivery time and quality are v good. You can also return anything within a week or month and you will get a full refund. That's the thing I liked the most. If you have any doubt about quality of your items, you can return with a very easy to use phone app or website. Guys they are very good. If you ask me I returned 4 different items from openes up perfumes, travel bag etc..I got full refund. Rest all the other hundreds of things I bought were all original and very well packed.
