Was impressed when first purchased my car from Solo Cars. Had a couple of issues, oil leak (which was fixed straight away). Horn stopped working after a few weeks. Eventually got booked in, there were a couple of issues along tbe way but Lewis from the workshop was great and restored my faith in Solo Cars. Lewis is a credit to your team.

So i was wanting to buy a car for my future daughter In law, I had purchased one 3 weeks before from a 'Dealer' in Wigan and it was an absolute shit show. Problem after Problem. So, my daughter started trailing through adverts again and came along Solo cars, she seen a car that she liked and we went down that evening. We was met by Matt, very polite and listened to us about our last experience. Absolutely nothing like this here I can assure you. The cars presentation and the cleanliness of the unit were top notch. She chose a car that was off site, unfortunately. So Matt showed us to another car, same model just different colour. One drive round the block and it was no turning back then. From applying for finance to receiving the actual car itself was 3 days. After the first visit, on the way home, Matt texted that I was accepted for finance. She cried all the way home from then on. We had such a bad experience with the other place and getting the £3.5k deposit back (we had to get the bank involved) she was at rock bottom. Day of delivery i got a free deep clean of my house (life does have its perks!!) and she got her dream car. The sweets in the car was a nice touch but didnt do my diabetes any good that day haha..
As soon as I am ready to change my car I'll have no hesitation in going back to solo cars to replace it.

He was always approachable, courteous, and professional, whether it was over the phone, through text messages, or even via WhatsApp. Michael went above and beyond by sending me detailed videos of the vehicles, allowing me to see them up close and get a real sense of what they looked like.

HONEST REVIEW OF EXPERIENCE

I originally left a glowing review on the day I purchased my car as requested whilst I was sat in the garage waiting for paperwork, as I was genuinely thrilled and couldn’t fault the service I received. The team were friendly, helpful, and made the buying process a pleasure.

However, after bringing the car home and giving it its first proper wash, I was really disappointed to discover numerous scratches and imperfections that had clearly been very well concealed at the time of sale. (May I add the whole two doors are really visibly scratched all along) It seems the car was expertly polished and detailed in a way that temporarily hid these flaws, which only became visible once the product wore off.

I fully understand that this is a 4-year-old car and some wear is to be expected. What’s upsetting is not the presence of scratches themselves, but the fact they were so well hidden that I had no idea they existed until after purchase. I now face the unexpected cost of having to repair and repaint these areas, which is disheartening after spending so much on what I thought was my dream car. It is not a cheap fix.

Again, I want to stress that the staff were excellent and I can’t fault how I was treated personally. My disappointment lies in how the car was presented. I’m sharing this review not out of anger, but in the hope that others don’t end up in the same boat as me.

This experience has taken away from what should have been an exciting and proud moment for me. I just want others to be aware and cautious.

This has put me off, no trust and I wouldn't buy from this dealer again now despite feeling so overjoyed on the day I purchased - I have clear photos of the hidden damage however trust pilot doesn't let me upload.

From the beginning Zak was professional, knowledgeable and approachable. At no point did I feel pressure to purchase. Solo cars offer great vehicles at competitive prices with excellent customer service. I am thrilled with my car and will definitely be back in the future.

I recently purchased a car from Solo Car Sales, and overall, I’m very pleased with the experience. Adam and his team were professional, accommodating, and carried out everything I asked for with care and attention. Communication was clear throughout, and I felt I was in good hands from start to finish.

No car dealership is perfect, but Solo is certainly one I would recommend. There were a couple of minor issues — some light scratches on the door, a bit of rust under the boot, and unfortunately, the rear driver’s side wheel was slightly curbed during delivery. However, I don’t place that on Adam himself, as he fulfilled everything we agreed on and went above and beyond to make the process smooth.

In summary, Solo Car Sales is a trustworthy and professional business. If you’re looking to buy a car, I believe Adam and his team will look after you and do their best to meet your expectations.
