O ordered the basic kit of connectors for $24.99. What I received was the connectors and also the $29.99 Soldering gun that I DID NOT ORDER! They told me to send it back AT MY COST $10.50 to receive a credit of $29.99. Order process was a scam to sell unwanted add-on. I lost $10.50 as a result of their scam. I WOULD NOT purchase again.

I thought I was purchasing from a reputable company. I went on their website with the intent to purchase the 100 piece kit. Their website defaults to the 500 piece kit and the heat gun. I selected the 100 piece kit and deselected the heat gun. My purchase should have been $39.99. I completed the checkout process and a few minutes later was notified by my credit card company that I was being charged $129. I then received an email from Solderstick with my invoice showing the 500 piece kit and heat gun. I did not order the 500 piece kit or heat gun. When I emailed Solderstick customer service, actually 4 times, I was advised that they could not change the order and that when it arrived I could just return it for a refund. It arrived on Monday, I've sent Solderstick customer service 3 more emails trying to return the order that I did not place and they have failed to respond. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - once they have your money they don't want to know you.

I have the butt connectors and I just used some last night . I made 4 connections using my heat gun and the connections are solid.

The heat gun is junk would not shrink any shrink tubing. No where near enough in the deliverd package to justify the price

So far so good. Navy trained electronics technician many moons ago, I learned to solder and tape wire joints... years later, I used heat shrink... this was the next evolution of that. I have siliconed heat shrink when I did not have heat activated heat shrink with glue for applications. That was usually larger wire and expensive... just like these. We shall see how long they last when the weather warms up and I start repairing my trailer lights.

Bit of a failure of the web cart design.

Quality product. Easy purchase and reasonably priced. Worked extremely well with my first wiring project. Highly recommend.

Online ordering needs a couple tweeks. Product a tad expensive. I forsee a future problem in that small orders to replace certain sizes isn't available--have to buy large kits to replace used. Shipping time was good. I've only used a couple and they seem to be easy to use, look professional. Time will tell how durable the solder joint holds up. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Like the produce. Great idea. The ordering was easy and got quick shipping. The only issue I found was that some of the slices solder either did not melt or took a long time to melt. If it is slow to melt you have to be very careful not to overhear the shinkable tube or it will also melt. Out of the dozen that I have applied on projects three had issues but did work after awhile. Over all a good product.

I had bought an off brand that only came in two sizes and needed one for up in the 20 size gauge, otherwise I couldn’t upgrade the daytime running lights on my rig. This had them and four other sizes. This solves a big monster search for someone who carries this type and gauge. Thanks, guys.

Like the ease of connecting the wires then being able to solder them
without the mess

Heat shrink melts long before solder melts.. useless..
I have sent multiple emails and replies to them with no reply. Very fake product and nonexistent customer service. Would not buy again, still want my money back and will spread the word about your false claims.
