Very professional and easy to do business with.
I was particularly impressed with being able to receive a quote based on satellite pictures of my house with the panels overlayed to give me a view of how they would look. The ability to actually talk to someone was welcome as I did have lots of questions.
Installation was completed in a day with the external cabling located near existing external fittings (drainpipe) so is largely invisible. The installers were courteous, tidy and like other employees of the company, were knowledgeable and gave advice on the Apps to monitor the system.
Basically I would recommend this company.

Firstly very impressed with service contractors arrived 8am and packed up 2.30pm one lad done roof work without any damage other done all electric work
and cleaned up after them fully
they were not cheapest but workmanship was worth the extra with piece of mind

Really helpful quote call with Scott.
I had enquired about the possibility of getting solar panels with Solar fast. I was booked in for a call with Scott who went through all the details with me and showed me the levels of sun my actual roof would get and discussed whether Solar panels might be right for me.
Whilst I didn't ultimately opt to get solar panels at this time Scott made the whole process simple and friendly with a real human touch. A pleasure to deal with and I hope all their sales surveyors are as good as Scott!

Leaking roof AGAIN
In July the roof started leaking. An engineer was sent to fix the problem. They said they would call me when they got back to the office as i was unable to attend in person, they didn't.
The roof is now leaking again.

Evaluation of Solar Fast re: installation of Solar panel and hybrid inverter and battery storage system
We had considered having solar panels for some time, for all the great reasons of mitigating increasing energy bills, caring for the environment and investing in our property. Friends of ours had already highly recommended Solar Fast, in terms of their professionalism, outstanding customer service and ongoing support post instalation. We were not disappointed. From the initial contact with Solar Fast,, right up to post installation, the process has been well explained, efficient and problem free. The scaffolding was erected the day before the panel team arrived the next day. The whole system was 'up-and-running' in just over 5 hours. There was minimal disruption, and Chris and Max worked hard to complete the job to a high standard and specification. At a time of rising energy bills, if you are considering a highly professional and efficient company to instal solar panels, then I would find it impossible to fault this company. Right from completion if installation, we have not drawn any energy from the National Grid and all surplus energy generation, after battery charge, is going back into the grid, where we will eventually see payment from our energy provider (Octopus) into our account. There has been no hard sales pressure, every question is answered and clearly explained. Solar Fast is a excellent example of when a company is well lead, and working well, with the customer centre stage to the process. Well done to all the Solar Fast Team, and and a sincere thank you from me as a new customer. I would highly recommend Solar Fast, and have confidence that this support will be ongoing into the future, from a company with a strong track record of quality and customer service.

Not all it's cracked up to be, falls short of expectations
Whilst the company itself is extremely helpful and informative once the kit was installed, we have had nothing but technical issues and are yet, I think, to have more than a week without a problem. The app for monitoring the system is terrible. We were told the system would be monitored for us, and we wouldn't need to notice issues; however, solarfast have yet to tell us about a problem, it's always us calling them, so, so much for monitoring. They're not there at weekends, so if anything goes wrong over the weekend, there's no one to help you, something else that wasn't mentioned when we went with this company. So, in summary, the people are very lovely and helpful, but the harsh reality of the system doesn't live up to anywhere near the expectations that you are set up to expect.

I can see that our technical department have been in touch with you several times and that the issues you’ve experienced were related to the Duracell monitoring app and a system update released by Duracell. Unfortunately, as this is third-party software, it’s not something we can directly control, but we have supported you throughout while Duracell resolved the matter. I’m pleased to confirm that everything is now showing as working fine.
While our support hours are currently weekdays only, we recognise that problems can occur outside these times, and we are actively looking at ways to improve this. Your feedback about communication and monitoring is very valuable, and we’ll use it to strengthen how we keep customers updated.

Great service, product, and efficiency
Clear and no-pressure quote. The installation date was initially far away because of the number of panels we were installing we needed to apply for permission - this was all handled by SolarFast. The response came back sooner than expected and the installation date was moved forward, again initiated by SolarFast. We were very pleased about this. The scaffolding and installation was very smooth and the installers were fantastic. Chris went above and beyond when he hit a snag with our awkward fuse box position, but came back the next day to ensure it was resolved to his standards. As for the power generation, the estimates they gave us in the initial presentation seem to have been fairly conservative, and almost two months on, we are producing much more energy than we expected. Will wait and see how the products perform in winter.

I had a really good experience with Solar Fast from start to finish! Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process.
