From start to finish the service was excellent.Everyone involved was conscientious and on time.Very pleased with the results.

Dallas and the team were excellent. Efficient and very tidy work, I was amazed they did it all in a day but they clearly know their stuff. Information during handover was excellent and the system was been working brilliant since. Can’t fault them one bit.

There were a few minor communication issues but otherwise the process went well and they accommodated our requirements to use scaffolding erected by our painter.
The installation team worked hard
It would have been useful to have a diagram with measurements to show the size of the wall needed for the battery & inverter.

The sales person provided plenty of information, including an annual estimated amount of electric that would be generated. Using the size, slope angle and orientation of the panels, and including the Lat and Long (for sunshine prediction), we were given a diagram which showed the amount of electric we should generate in a year. I have an engineering background and I found the calculations estimating electric generation to be comprehensive and believable.
Since the panels were switched on (about 2 weeks ago - April 2026), we have not used any electric from the grid.

A great overall experience. Lots of support available answering questions before the install, and then a speedy and efficient installation service from the very pleasant and skilled teams of scaffolders, roofers and electricians. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking of installing panels. Very many thanks for making what we thought might have been a long a complex profess so effortless for us.

So I want to start this review by saying my experience with Wright Renewables has been a mixed one unfortunately. Installation took place over 2 different days.

Negatives:

1. Roofer was told I had the wrong type of roof tile (luckily he google mapped our house the night before)

2. They forgot to bring a wooden casing/covering for the battery and inverter which needed dropping off later which I kept reminding them about leading up to installation

3. Day 1 was quite chaotic and unorganized - constant back and forth through the house bringing in equipment, the kitchen ended up covered in dust from the drilling outside with the back door open, not much communication throughout the installation

4. Battery was damaged during installation.

5. Some of the cabling work was left incomplete despite the electrician being done - which had to be finished day 2 after raising it

6. Was an extremely long day that ran from about 08:00 (when the electrician arrived with no prior warning) until about 18:30 due to incorrect wiring of the battery/inverter

7. Day 2 - Roofers weren't told about bird proofing, so they didn't install it until I showed my invoice including it

8. Was given a handover pack after completion which had the wrong warranties for the solar panels, workmanship and battery

9. Scaffolding still not down despite being given 3 different dates

10. Scaffolders broke a couple of my kitchen roof tiles

However not all was bad. Good things:

1. Initial consultation up to surveying was very good. An isolation switch was needed, which was booked and installed extremely quickly for example.

2. Scaffolding went up very quickly

3. Included bird protection free of charge

4. Included the wooden casing free of charge

5. Included 2x optimisers free of charge

6. Supplied slightly better panels than originally quoted due to stock issues - free of charge

7. Replaced the damaged battery free of charge.

I've been in contact with Wright Renewables about these issues, some were rectified, others weren't even acknowledged. But overall I wouldn't say it was a positive experience. I was very optimistic reading other reviews, but perhaps it was just a stroke of bad luck.

Very happy with the install of our solar PV system. Both teams (Scott and Lewis fitting the panels and Dallas and Harrison doing the electrical) were brilliant. They were professional, friendly, clean & tidy, polite, punctual, and always ready to answer questions. We had 16 PV panels, and FoxESS battery (master + 4 system) and H1 inverter installed, and an Eddi. The wiring is very neat and tidy. Looks very smart and working brilliantly. Martin, back in the office, was also very helpful and knowledgable. 100% would recommend.

Both Dallas (Electrician) and roof fitters where excellent through out the install. Knowledgeable, professional and more than happy to answer any questions. The installation was efficient and went like clockwork. very surprised it was all done in a day and the scaffolding was removed the next day as well.

Must admit we were not thinking of solar panels and it was only a chance email that made us think. Having decided it was something we would consider, then contacting NGRE and exploring with them our options we came up with a proposal based on their initial survey. All our neighbours were supportive and had no objections with us fitting roof solar panels, which was encouraging. The surveyor was professional and able to explain the system in layman's terms to a non-electrician that was easy to understand. Once the decision was made to go ahead then the team that followed: electrician; solar panel installation engineers; and scaffolders were all polite and professional in carrying out the equipment fit. In spite of a slight change in layout of the original proposal the installation went smoothly in a timely manner. We are now getting much enjoyment watching how the app works monitoring how the battery is charged and discharged, and given it is all based on AI with no human intervention which for us is ideal!!!

We would have no problem recommending NGRE.

I was genuinely impressed with my solar installation from start to finish. Everyone involved was friendly, helpful, and kept me fully informed throughout the whole process. The professionalism stood out at every stage, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone — a brilliant experience from a brilliant team.

The Consultation was extremely informative. Paul was very happy to answer all our questions and took time to explain the details in a manner that we as ordinary folk, could understand. He went away with all our details, quoted for the supply and installation, and was very helpful in explaining why he had recommended our particular system. The installation date was agreed, and Ryan arrived on time with the relevant system and personnel to install everything efficiently, Tidily, and with the minimum of fuss. They all cleared up when they left and helped me to download the App onto my phone, and explained what everything meant, and the priorities for the solar power - i.e what it feeds and in which order.
We have had a couple of Software issues, - However - Each time we reported the problem, within 30 mins, someone had remotely gone online into our system and restarted it, and resolved the issue with the minimum of fuss.
Very are very pleased with our installation, the panels blend in beautifully with the roof and the edge guarding closes off the gaps between Solars and tiles. We have no hesitation in recommending the OVO installation to anyone who is interested in installing Solar Panels

Dallas and rest of fitters where excellent through out. Very polite, professional and more than happy to answer any questions I had. Every bit of the installation was an efficient and went like clockwork.

The team kept me informed throughout the day whole process. Any questions I had were answered by Jonathan within hours not days.

The team doing the installation turned up on time each day, finished as scheduled and made sure all packaging and waste materials were disposed of.
