Great service, will hopefully be able to report on how successful the product performs but that takes some time to bear fruit!

Great service...
Although it is too early to judge this compost enhancer, it has only just arrived, the ease of ordering and delivery were outstanding, despite our present difficulties. In addition, the inventor of The Hot Bin and developer of all the ancillary products on the SoilFixer site, Tony Callaghan, replied by return to the questions that I sent in by email. I shall definitely be back to buy a Hot Bin!

Hi Peter, thanks for the review. Our biochar is a form of wood charcoal - carefully graded to perform in soil. If you have not had a chance, have a read of our blog at www.soilfixer.co.uk/biochar-article

Hi
Thanks for the review. Hope the following explanation will help ...
SF60 is very moist because the colloidal humus holds water. If we dry it out - the colloidal property is lost and benefit in soil is lost.
Selling by weight or volume is a challenge. Compost is usually sold by litres.
We tried this. However, the online / courier parcel model is weight-based (up to 5Kg, up to 10Kg). Send a parcel 100g over the limit, and we get a penalty admin fee + charge for next bracket. If we bag based on litres, we can easily be +/500g. The penalties were killing business.
Happy to explore any ideas - we want to do what's right for customers.

Good service and a quality product
Good service and a quality product delivered with no fuss or grief.
I've used other bio-char based products in the past and haven't been convinced with some of the claims made by their marketing departments. These guys were honest about what the product was and could do and, confirmed through my own research, didn't make any grossly exaggerated claims based off parts of research papers.
Will use again without a second thought.

Thank you for the review. Sorry we did not meet your expectations.
The powders are not fragile and they are packed in strong sacks. By way of explanation for the cardboard box and inserts: if the black biochar powder escapes it would cause a big clean up problem for the courier. We take extra care to protect the bag from getting split during transit. Hope this helps.
Really great firm to deal with
