Snapmaker U1 printer in perfect condition. Already made 10 multi-color prints with excellent results.

Got my order in 5 days which was 2 days earlier then the email showed. Instruction book was excellent and went together quickly. Print quality is excellent and looking forward to buying a second one.

From the kickstarter communication to the delivery of product. The use of the product, the support, and the great quality have all been fantastic. I am happy I got a printer and I wish I would have opted for the two-pack during the kickstarter.

The purchase experience was good. All my items came packaged well and all parts accounted for. Thus, far I have done several small prints with no issues. I am looking to go a little bigger now as my confidence with the slicer has gotten better. So far, so good Snapmaker!

Placing the order was fine. I used affirm that was fine money posted that was fine waited a few days and checked status still waiting to be processed. Emails the help desk and got a reply the next day saying my order was flagged by Shopify for some reason and that they would have to cancel my order refund my money and then be order it again OK but that money has to go back to a firm. They have to do their process before it comes off my account and then I had to go through this whole process again and then wait. God knows how long for the printer even show up. This is just really Disheartening.

I love the products I've received from Snapmaker so far. I feel that an opportunity for improvement would be with the website store - it needs better definition of what is in stock, what and when items will be available, etc.. It's also a bit difficult to find things, and what accessories are meant for what printers, etc..

I have little experience whit 3d print (another brand) this is my 6th printer but I am very surprised when opening in middle have 4 roll different filament and in one big box have difarent articulate. Like brush and scraper Omg evry think u need to start print immediately.

Very good experience, easy to order and delivery was actually faster then I expected. My initial thoughts on the U1 has been great. The print quality is amazing. I really wish the top enclosure was available when I ordered. I had to go with an after market enclosure, something I did not want to do.

It came in on time. The packing was superb. Easy assembly. Prints are coming out perfect on the first attempt.

I'm fairly new to the printing world, but after a couple months with my other machine with a CFS and the waste it produced plus the time it added to the print for filament changes was longer than the print time. It was a no-brainer to to pick up a Snapmaker U1 with 4 tool heads. It's been a Beast of a machine! So much I just bought a second 1 and have been printing on it for 3 days now. The only drawback if you want to call it that is the video feed needs some upgrading. Very jumpy. But I use my Wyze OG cam for monitoring the print. I would not let that stop you from purchasing one. The savings alone will pay for the machine in no time. If I was to get another printer, it would be another Snapmaker U1. Unless of course they come out with a U2 upgraded 8 toolhead machine.

My first time ordering a 3D printer and I’m extremely satisfied I went with the U1. The packaging was OUTSTANDING, set up was so easy and explained without question. Delivery time was faster than expected.
I would and will definitely direct others to a U1 for a first timer.

This thing is amazing. It was alot longer unboxing and putting together than any other printer I had but it was soon worth it. The prints are out if this world.
There is also something hypnotic about watching it work. The Swapping of the tool heads , the perfect first layer. It has over Exceeded my expectations.
I just really wish it came with a cover instead of having to pay that much for molded plastic.

First and foremost after ordering the U1 snapmaker sent emails letting me know expectations of when the printer would ship and the printer even made it to my house before the expected date which is awesome! After getting the U1 assembled I only had one hiccup during intial setup. The homing calibration kept failing and would not complete but I just referred to the snapmaker wiki which had me hold the upper left corner for 6 seconds to skip intial setup, connect to internet with wifi and update the firmware. after that, I rebooted and ran through the initial setup again and it worked fine. From there I sent the dragon "benchy" to the printer via snaporca with no default config changes and it printed pretty good without calibrating further. Matter of fact I have not calibrated it further at all and have been using defaults and already printed 4 things and its just working. The prints are turning out pretty good. Overall I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who wants to start out new. The walkthrough was very descriptive and easy to follow in my opinion. Im looking forward to dialing this printer in and modding when I get more time on it!

The Snapmaker U1 with its multi toolhead, arrived in a very well packaged carton, the best I have seen, and open opening you immediately find a full colour booklet containing full instructions on how to safely unpackage the machine. It also includes links to an extensive library of videos on their Wiki site covering everything from unpacking and installation to printing.

Following said instructions and installing the various parts is well described and took about 30 minutes taking it carefully. Then comes the initial power on and calibration which is done automatically and requires minimal user intervention. You will soon be asked to load the four colour filament rolls (yes, they really do include 4 rolls of 500g of filament which is rare these days) and in under 3 hours you will have your first multicolour print - a cute dragon preloaded into the machine.

The quality as you might expect was excellent and whilst I cannot confirm at this stage that it prints up to 5 times faster than comparable machines, I can say that so far (4 days), prints which would take 40 hours on a single nozzle multicolour printer took less than 13 hours on the U1. Also, and most importantly, there was minimal waste, only four small 'poops' when first loading the filament plus the prime tower which is part and parcel of multicolour printing on any machine, whether multi toolhead like the U1 or not. This means that ultimately your filament will last longer and print more models thus saving real money in the long term and no throwing away kilograms of waste.

Finally, I should add that support is excellent as I had reason to contact them due to an error in typing my address in on the order form (my mistake, not theirs) and I had a response and correction within hours of my email which I sent late on a Friday afternoon. There was even a follow up to ensure everything was in order., something that is becoming rarer these days in my experience.

Oh, and the price, less than euros 900 (899 to be exact) and far less than some of the leading brands of multitool printers with every bit of the quality as far as I can see. And for those requiring to print more than the standard PLA or PETG types not requiring a heated chamber, a top cover is currently under development and in pre order which I understand includes a filter and air circulation system which should extend the range of useable filaments.

All in all an exceptional printer at an exceptional price.

Setup was a little finnicky with respect to aligning the toolheads, but the overall printing experience has made that a well deserved labor.

It is a great printer so glad to have purchased it!
