So after my first review, someone from Smarkets advises me to get in contact to discuss my circumstance and get some assistance with being hacked and my funds used. I didn't get to discuss anything as they immediately suspended my account to then spend 10 whole days just for them to send me the same copy and paste message about how they consider the funds to be used by me. A small discussion about my betting habits, device IP and location IP could all easily indicate that it wasn't me but they don't even give you a chance to plead your case, they just stonewall you. So what even is the point of someone replying to these reviews to appear like they're willing to help when they're not? Absolutely abysmal customer service. Do not trust them with your money if this is how they conduct themselves

I have been unable to log into my account for several months. Keeps displaying different messages. Now too many login attempts need to update password. Smarkets do not reply to any of my emails. The phone line is inactive and I cannot access chat because I cannot login. This is really annoying I do not have much in the account but cannot use it.

Overall Smarkets is decent, however the app is terrible. They blame it on your device rather than fix the problem. All the people I know have the same timeout issues and all use different devices. I also have BF, Betdaq and Matchbook apps that just work, with no such issues. That and going down on major events are a problem

u guys dont have top 2 places for horse racing markets that has 8 or more horses and also have worse prices on greyhounds by 10% on avg compared to other exchange sites

I've been with Smarkets a few years now.
I have used a number of other betting exchanges in the past but prefer Smarkets for the clean web interface it offers and the low rates of commission that it charges.
In addition, I've always found their support team very helpful and prompt to respond to any enquiries.
All, in all a great company to work with.

Contacted their chat line. Wasn't expecting any problems. They've always been pretty good and helpful. Had an issue with a withdrawal. It wasn't them not wanting to give money back, just the T&c of withdrawal is all. Anyway, soke to a lady called Alice and she immediately resolved the problem. 10 out of 10 for customer service! Well done Smarkets.

Haven't had Smarkets for long but already really happy, I lost a bit of money due to an incorrectly voided bet and thanks to James this issue was resolved very quickly.

Been using them for years, no bonus gimmicks , just been read other sites reviews all get bad reviews, and non have replied to there reviews like smarket have, only thing recently started wanting a £5 bet to watch horse racing, which isn’t a issue

Questions the Smarket staff will NOT answer:
Can I see how you came to this conclusion to shut down my account, what figures did you use, you keep saying/acting like I did not have the funds to gamble and live on (will you please answer this question) . Also you did not account for money already guaranteed (£540 winnings) to be returned to my account.
There was no justification to close my account, other than get me back in the bookies (like with everyone else), only the big bookies benefit from this.
(Will you answer them now?)

Contacted the support as suggested below and they still REFUSE to answer my questions, just Fobbing me off, pure corruption this (what do you have to hide).
