Good Quality, 8/10 comfort
I like the shoes i got, although they are a bit tight. Packaging was not to my liking. It looked like it was sent from a first timer. If you had a place for uploading picures I would have shown you.
The site was good, but I was not sure of the size i chose untill i tried them on. The reason is the difference between what stores in my country use and what UK uses, even with the conversion table found on the site.
I hope with time the shoes will expand a bit.

Could you perhaps explain what you mean by a ' first timer' and how the goods were shipped and received, more feedback would be really helpful, as i am always happy to improve all aspects of the experience.
In terms of the fit, with the shoes being 100% leather uppers there will be some 'give' in the fit and after approx, 4-6 times the leather will have stretched from how they felt when you first tried the shoes on. Hopefully this will not cause you any issues.

Sledgers Casual Leather Shoes
Bought them before going on holiday but have only used them for a short period of time due to me wearing sandals on holiday! But, so far have found them very comfortable and stylish! The order came to my country on time, however, I was not happy with the way the local shipment treated the delivery. I had to pay extra charges for assessment, and customs. I had no problem to pay for customs but for the assessment.

We ship the Sledgers brand all over the world, to thousands of our loyal customers, unfortunately on the rare occasion the local importation process seems to decide upon themselves to charge additional carriage, VAT in some case and clearing costs.
This occurs in isolated cases, we have ourselves attempted to try and establish what the local importation procedures are, this though given the amount of countries we ship to is somewhat challenging given each country has different tariff codes etc.
We are examining if we should add this to the site, to note in some cases local duties etc may be charged.
It is annoying as there is no consistency and its out of our hands.
As a gesture of goodwill i will ask Peta to issue you with a voucher , on Monday, which you can spend on line, through www.sledgers.com for £40.00, which i hope may soften the blow a little.
This voucher will expire in 30 days.

Clearly this is disappointing as the Atlanta is a brand new style, launched literally 4 weeks ago for the Spring / Summer season. Atlanta in fact has almost every attribute we use in our collection in one shoe, its one of only two shoes which have this multiple attributes, so to hear its not at all comfortable is really surprising.
If you have not worn these outside i am happy to exchange for a alternative pair, although if they have been worn switching them for a replacement is impossible.
We will drop you a separate e mail discussing ways we will try to help you.

-Vous dites que vos produits sont tous 100% cuir . C'est faux. Les Sledgers que j'ai n'ont pas de semelle en cuir. On dirait une sorte de mousse de plastique... voir photos.
- Effectivement je n'ai pas le ticket de caisse puisqu'il s'agit d'un cadeau ( Je peux vous dire que ma mère était furieuse quand elle a vu que la semelle se désagrégeait !)
- Vous dites que ces chaussures ont été beaucoup portées . C'est encore faux .Je ne les utilisais que pour faire de la musique sur scène, pas pour marcher !
- Vous ne voulez pas être menacés : Je ne vous menace pas, je décris simplement la réalité.
- Vous ne voulez pas être pris pour des imbéciles : Je ne vous prends pas pour des imbéciles puisque vous arrivez à vendre ce genre de chaussures ! :)
- Il y a des photos ici, vous pourrez constater de visu que ce sont bien des Sledgers et que la semelle n'est pas en cuir.

-You say that your products are all 100% leather. It's wrong. The Sledgers I have do not have a leather sole. It looks like a kind of plastic foam ... see photos.
- Actually I do not have the receipt as it is a gift (I can tell you that my mother was furious when she saw that the sole broke up!)
- You say that these shoes have been worn a lot. It's still wrong. I only used them to make music on stage, not to walk!
- You do not want to be threatened: I do not threaten you, I just describe the reality.
- You do not want to be mistaken for fools: I do not take you for fools since you get to sell this kind of shoes! :)
- There are pictures here, you will see firsthand that they are Sledgers and that the sole is not leather.

We take our manufacturing and our customers exceptionally seriously, in fact the materials and supplier base we use in the design and development process are essential in everything we do at Sledgers.
You sent us images of pictures of your shoes, with no receipt of your purchase or form of proof of purchase and the shoes looked to our quality control team as they had been completely worn out, it may well have been two years but by the pictures they look they have been worn 18 hours a day for 2 years. We do not use any plastic in any of our products, they are all 100% leather, in fact the entire shoe including the lining are all leather, so not sure where you get plastic from?
We take what we do seriously and this is certainly not a scam.
You did threaten us with bad publicity if we didn't address you complaint, however i am sorry to repeat myself and clearly state that unless proof of purchase was shared the shoes look to have had more than enough wear.
We always approach complaints in a transparent and open manner and often resolve complaints to ensure we maintain a good customer brand relationship, however we will not be threatened and treated like fools.
Thank you again for posting, sorry you feel this way, however i certainly believe the truth in these circumstances must be shared.

Nous n'utilisons pas de plastique dans l'un de nos produits, ils sont tous 100% cuir, en fait, la chaussure entière, y compris la doublure sont tous en cuir, donc pas sûr où vous obtenez en plastique de?
Nous prenons ce que nous faisons sérieusement et ce n'est certainement pas une arnaque.
Vous nous avez menacé de mauvaise publicité si nous n'avons pas répondre à votre plainte, mais je suis désolé de me répéter et clairement déclarer que, à moins que la preuve d'achat a été partagée les chaussures semblent avoir eu plus que suffisamment d'usure.
Nous abordons toujours les plaintes de manière transparente et ouverte et résolvons souvent les plaintes pour nous assurer de maintenir une bonne relation de marque client, mais nous ne serons pas menacés et traités comme des imbéciles.
