Do not use, scam

Do not use. Skip is a scam. Four out of four consecutive orders were incorrect. First, false advertising of a promotion not received. Next, received a refund in credits, then declined a refund, then issued a partial refund in credits without consent, then an error in the app took the credits, and now I have nothing. Neither chat nor email support with photos helped; repeatedly put on long holds and then either disconnected or provided with a canned response to see their FAQs page. Do not use this service.

NEVER ORDER FROM SKIP!!!

I have ordered 7 times from skip and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have had an issue. The drive went about 10 mins the wrong way, by the time I got it the food was cold. Another time he sat in a plaza by my house for 5 mins and posted DELIVERED!!! but it was not delivered for another 5 mins, again cold. Last night took the cake and my FINAL straw. THE DRIVER PUT THE FOOD AT A DIFFERENT HOUSE ON MY STREET!!! I messaged him "where's my food?" he turned around grabbed it from my neighbor told him the error and gave it tome AFTER my neighbor touched it. I will NEVER order from skip again!! Now when I complain they say I just want free money or I complain to much...IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY!!! I paid for my food I want my food, hot, on time and at my door not my neighbors! Unbelievable experience. NEVER AGAIN!!

SkiptheDishes is Actually SkiptheSupper!

This is the last time I order with Skipthe Dishes. I ordered from Chipotle, Skip sent me the order confirmation, yet when I went to the restaurant, they had no record of the order. 20 minutes waiting for the Help Chat on Skip only to have the agent tell me there was nothing he could do. He ended it with “and is there anything else I can do to help today?” When I asked what he had done to help, he ended the Chat. Call it SkipTheSupper instead!

I've had problems with my last 2…

I've had problems with my last 2 orders. One order was an hour getting to me. The food was cold. The driver rang the bell when I wrote to leave on the porch---waking those who were sleeping. When I tried to get through to comment, there was no response or engagement. Today, my order arrived without coffee. That was the biggest reason for my order. When I connected with Skip the Dishes I asked for a credit of my fees and coffee and they sent an email saying they could not comply with my request. I've learned that the fee im paying for convenience is a waste as I'm not getting my order in a timely fashion, nor is it complete. I've made every effort to work with them to come up with a reasonable solution, but to no avail. I have deleted the app from my phone and will do my own pick ups.

Dinner arrived very cold because driver decided to fill another order on the way. Skip the dishes penalized the restaurant by returning the cost of the meal, but kept the delivery fee and tip. Basically this company are thieves. I've also had them walk into my house without knocking..just open the door and walk in..

As a merchant...

As a merchant, this delivery platform was a huge disappointment. It was constantly going offline (we also habe ubereats, and there is never any issues with connection). But the worst part was the inconsistencies in sales vs deposits. When we tried to reach customer service, we were told to use the portal. The portal was never operational. Then we were told to email them, and someone would call sometime in 24hrs. When I missed that call, I received an email that they were not aware of any issues and to provide further information. I can't believe the lack of support. We canceled our partnership with them.

I want to give them a 0 but that's nopt…

I want to give them a 0 but that's not possible. these slimy basters made me pay 5 times for a pizza that never showed up. they keep saying they "refunded" me but now I'm 230$ down and NO COMPENSATION now my kids are shitting and screaming bc they want there extra cheesy stuffed crust pizza. This is her husband now. She isn't wrong. She is now crying in her bedroom and I don't know what to do? We just wanted to eat pizza and have a fun family movie night. This was our one night to not worry about what to eat and to just have fun together with them. We were gonna watch Saltburn in celebration of my son graduating from kindergarten. I'm rambling, but this has been the most detrimental fast food experience we've ever had as a family, that I've ever had as a human being and a man. this is Jonathan now. I was oh so excited to finally celebrate my kindergarten graduation at the ripe age of 24. I've been saving my weight watchers points up for this all day. I needed that cheesy pizza like Romeo needed Juliet (yes I know what it's ACTUALLY about.) to say the least I am devastated that I won't get that pizza.

I ordered from Skip the Dishes for Jerusalem Restaurant in Nymark Plaza, North York and it was for $49.00 and they charged me twice and the bill was over $100 for falafel that was old and left over. I complained to Skip the dishes and they said it's my fault.

Stolen/used gift card

My son gave me a gift card, I registered it on the app. I tried to find the card amount but it said to check back later.
When I checked it again, it said my Skip card had already been redeemed.
Only ones that could know card number and use it, was Skip employees. Disgusting.
DON'T BUY SKIP GIFT CARDS!!

John D. says:
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue with your recent order. After thoroughly checking our system, we have found that the address provided at the time of placing the order was incorrect. What we can do is process a partial refund amounting to $25.86 for your wrong address order via Skip Credits which will reflect within 5-10 minutes on your Skip account. We recommend you take these steps to ensure your order is delivered correctly:
1. Delete the address on your account you no longer use.
2. Make sure your phone number is up to date.
3. Enable push notifications if using Skip on your mobile device to receive updates on the delivery process.
4. Enable “Location Services” so we can confirm if an address doesn’t align with where you’re ordering from.

S says:
i spent $60 and Im only getting $25 even when my husband literally went outside and FLAGGED the driver down

S says:
I think I need to speak to a supervisor.

John D. says:
I appreciate your understanding as I must convey that I am unable to influence the outcome of your situation. I recognize that this may not be the ideal resolution you were hoping for, and I have thoroughly reviewed all aspects of the matter. Regrettably, I must now conclude this conversation. If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time, as we are available 24/7 through chat. Thank you for your understanding.

Skip the dishes is brutal

Skip the dishes is brutal. No accountability when careless restaurants forget items in orders. When I reached out to skip about missing items the AI chat bots apologized for the poor and disappointing service. They offered me a $4 refund and then retracted and said I get nothing! I feel so angry at the lack of accountability from companies in this day and age. I don't use this service often and for sure will not ever again moving forward.

Account Deactivated Without Cause, Lost Vouchers, Zero Customer Support

As a loyal, paying Skip+ member, my account was suddenly and permanently deactivated on June 17, 2025.

The only explanation I received was a vague email citing "unusual activity," with no specifics provided, despite me always using the account according to their policies. This arbitrary action caused me to immediately lose two valid promotional vouchers ($15 off $30 each), representing $30 in lost value.

The most frustrating part is the complete silence and refusal to resolve the issue:

I immediately emailed Skip support requesting clarification and reinstatement but was completely ignored.

When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Skip's only corporate response was a generic "email us" that deliberately ignored the fact that I had already done so.

The BBB case was ultimately closed as unresolved because Skip refused to engage or provide a transparent explanation for their action.

If this is how Skip treats their loyal, paying subscribers—by deactivating accounts, voiding valid credits, and then ignoring both customer emails and a formal BBB inquiry—I would strongly caution anyone against relying on their service or purchasing a Skip+ membership. Their customer support is non-existent, and they operate with a total disregard for paying customers. Do not use this service!

Take your money, get no food

My husband and I just finished a long day of driving 12 hrs and pulled into Lloydminster fir the night and decided to order from Wokbox through Skip. We received notice that our food had been delivered but it was no where onsite. We called Wok Box who stated the order was picked up and then we tried contacting the courier but his info had vanished. We contacted Skip who first said they would give us back 50% and we asked for 100% due to not getting our food, they said we were not getting anything back. We contacted support at least 4 times and they said too bad . We actually drove to the restaurant in the 26 foot U-Haul we were travelling in and they wouldn’t do anything either but did tell us that a lot of Skip couriers just take the food. So, these courier drivers continue to rip people off and us consumers continue to get nothing but an empty wallet.

We are a merchant currently attempting…

We are a merchant currently attempting to sign up with SkipTheDishes, and unfortunately, the onboarding process has been frustrating. Despite multiple emails to customer support, we have not received any meaningful assistance or follow-up.
In contrast, our experience with Uber Eats and DoorDash was significantly more efficient and responsive. Their teams were accessible and proactive, which made the onboarding process smooth and professional.
