The RYA Day Skipper Theory course has been a really rewarding journey so far. Even though some subjects feel slightly challenging at times, the structure of the classes helps everything make sense step by step, and you can actually feel your knowledge growing with each session.

I did my Yachtmaster Offshore theory at Skippers Online. To be honest, it wasn't easy, I struggled big time with bringing up the discipline to study, to concentrate and to practice. That had nothing to do with Skippers Online though, they're explanation of the complicated material was great, very much step by step. Also the feedback I received on my exams was quick and clear.

I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. We do not have significant tides in the Atlantic coast of Colombia, and so all the information about it was new to me. I look forward to the practical course this year. I strongly recommend this course to all sea lovers.

Really great course that walks your through the required material in a structured manner with short videos, lots of examples, visual explanations and chapter exercises. There is a lot of extra material for deeper learning and the team is very responsive in answering your questions. For me, it was very pleasant to have it online so that I could complete the course in my own pace, and properly grasp all the topics, rather than it being crammed into a short week

I followed online a very well detailed course. In case of questions about lessons, exersises or mock exams, the instructors gave all the times clear and good support. I have learned a lot and I pass the exam with a positive result! I can recommend Skippersonline to everybody.

Having the ability to do this at your own pace was good, it was easy to go back over something if you didn't quite grasp it the first time round. The quality of the slides and voice over was good. The various tests throughout were good and helped to re affirm. The speed at which you got the answers was very quick. The instructors answered any queries in a very timely manner, I thought at one point that AI was answering my questions !
The only down side is the age of the printed tables you are sent to work with and refer to, these have been copied so many times that some parts are really difficult to read even with a magnifying glass.
Other than that would recommend the course.
