Had a consultation this afternoon which was very pleasant my spouse when went to pay for the first treatment in person and his experience was excellent as well. So far so good very impressed thus far. I know it wil only get better from here.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my recent experience at the Skin Vitality Medical Clinic Whitby location, I felt it was important to share.
As a Google Local Guide, I regularly leave honest reviews to help others make informed decisions. Surprisingly, Skin Vitality does not have a Google review option, so this is my first review of the clinic on Trustpilot.
I have always appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the nurses at Skin Vitality. They are the reason I continued coming back. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk management has been completely different.
Before leaving home, I confirmed through Skin Vitality's live chat that my appointment was at 12:40 p.m. I travelled from the Scarborough/Markham area and arrived only a few minutes late. Despite this, a staff member who identified herself as the manager loudly instructed the reception staff, within earshot of other clients, to "cut her numbing time to 15 minutes and cut some of the PRP time" because she claimed I was 25 minutes late.
As someone with sensitive skin, I explained that I needed the full numbing time. Instead of trying to accommodate me, I felt like I was being punished for being a few minutes late. I have been a loyal client for years, have consistently arrived on time, and have patiently waited 30–45 minutes on previous occasions when the clinic was running behind without ever complaining.
What made the situation even more upsetting was the way I was spoken to. During the discussion, the staff member compared my situation to waiting at a doctor's office, despite knowing that I had paused my treatments while undergoing DCIS breast cancer treatment. I found that comment insensitive and unnecessary.
My husband, who was waiting outside, came in after I called him. Rather than trying to resolve the situation professionally, we were offered a choice to either wait another two hours or drive home and return later, even though the clinic had previously asked me to reschedule my original appointment to accommodate their schedule.
As we were leaving, one of the managers sarcastically said, "All the best. Have a stressful day," and both managers laughed. I was shocked. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially in front of other clients.
My concern is not about a few minutes or a scheduling issue. It is about respect, professionalism, and customer service. There is a significant difference between enforcing a policy and humiliating a paying client.
Instead of acknowledging my history as a loyal client, I felt as though I was being accused of deliberately arriving late and being punished for it.
At no point was I asking for special treatment. I simply wanted to receive the full service that I had paid for.
Skin Vitality has excellent nurses, but in my experience, the behaviour of some front desk management falls far below the standard I would expect from a premium clinic.
Unfortunately, after two disappointing experiences at two different locations, I can no longer recommend Skin Vitality based on customer service alone.
I tried and tried to make a purchase with a link I was sent - there was technical difficulties and when I called, the skin vitality representatives were always helpful. I got the deal and was so happy for the help!
Very friendly atmosphere, they explain every procedure in detail. Jocelyn is wonderful. Whatever questions about other procedures i would like she explains. Nurse Patricia was great!

Botox didn’t work on left side of lip. I’ve never had this problem before. First nurse tries to teme there’s no difference. Perhaps an eye exam may help her. Then they want to charge me to fix their error. Previous Botox injections weren’t done by tapping then injecting. It was administered very quickly. I would 100% never recommend this clinic again

Visiting skin Vitality was great they explained everything they would do for the cool sculpting and I would definitely get it done at a later date. I just didn’t have $2700. for two visits I would need. So when I save the money I will definitely give it a try

I've had a great experience at Skin Vitality in St. Catharines. Nicole is amazing. She has incredible attention to detail, takes the time to make sure everything looks natural and balanced, and never makes you feel rushed. She's knowledgeable, professional, and explains everything clearly.

The service at Skin Vitality Barrie is top notch. Elena is my preferred service provider and she is amazing at what she does. I always feel well taken care of when I visit, and I am very happy with my results.
