Simply Hammocks pride themselves on next-day delivery "97%" of the time. I got despatch notices on three consecutive days — it arrived on day three. I live in London, not the sticks so I have no idea what the excuse was.

I stayed home two full days waiting. Day one: a 7.30pm message saying they'd missed the slot, delivery tomorrow. Day two: same again, but this time no message at all. I just had to hope I'd wake up and it had been left safe.

It has now arrived, on day 3. The hammock itself is OK, but way more polyester than I'd expect at this price. When I asked for a partial refund to reflect the experience, I got a back-and-forth that ended with their final response in bold. Odd way to treat a customer. They don't even provide pre-paid returns!

Under-promise, over-deliver. Not the other way around. It's pretty simple.

My last hammock lasted me over 10 years. If this one doesn't, expect an updated review.

P.S. DHL are cheap for a reason! They give you a bad name and I can see several other reviews that seem to point to DHL. Sadly this will mean i return to Amazon in future.

I bought a gorgeous hammock and stand from Simply Hammocks some years ago and recently lost the chain that links the hammock and stand. I what’s apped the company on Bank holiday Monday and got a text back on Tuesday morning first thing, apologising for the slow reply and telling me which one I needed. Chain arrived on Thursday morning! Excellent customer service and lovely to be able to buy exactly the missing bit! Thank you Simply Hammocks!

Beautiful quality hammock, good quality of material and well made. Best of all was the help I got in choosing the right one for me as I initially ordered the wrong size. Can’t recommend enough

Excellent customer service from start to finish.

I ordered a hammock chair which unfortunately arrived slightly unbalanced and didn’t sit level when in use. I contacted Simply Hammocks with some photos and Greg could not have been more helpful.

Rather than dismissing the issue, he took the time to compare another chair himself, discuss the problem properly, and arrange a very quick exchange. Communication throughout was friendly, personal and professional, and the replacement chair is absolutely perfect.

It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about both its products and its customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.

Good efforts made.
Item eventually arrived 16 Feb. No issues with the item itself.
DHL, DPD and Evri let people down consistently. Courier performance is a large part of a customer satisfaction. Never had a single issue with RM.
Amended to 3 stars for follow-up from seller.

Fantastic service, would highly recommend this company. We organised a Hammock for a colleague who is retiring, it has a special connotation and we wanted it to be a surprise for her to relax and enjoy in the summer. The communication was amazing and the service was so personal - very rare these days! We work in a customer service industry so can be critical if we don’t feel it’s up to our standards, but we were exceptionally impressed! We can’t wait to see the hammock in use come the warmer months! Thank you so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Needed some waterproof spray for footwear. Found it at a much better price on Simply Hammocks than anywhere else, AND free delivery! Order arrived very quickly. Great service!

Great quality hammock stand and hammock. Really helpful with returning the additional ropes that I ordered and discovered I didn't need.

What more can i say, bought my hammock just over a month ago, the product is well made and at a really good price the delivery was very quick, (faster than i expected) so now I’m enjoying to sun.

I love this company! Having bought my hammock stand and globe chair from them in the past it was time for a new hammock fabric… ordered and my order was incorrectly stuck in a pre order group, but only for 48hrs. It’s when you phone and the service is so human and friendly 🙌 my order was with me less than 14 hours later in time for some weekend relaxation. Quality products that look stylish and really are the best way to chill outdoors.

Bought a simply hammock 18 years ago and it's still going strong. A bit faded but as strong as ever. In this day and age you rarely find products of this quality. Highly recommend this company.

We've owned an Amazonas Globo Royal Hanging chair and stand for approximately 15 years, and recently decided to order a new cushion cover for a quick refresh. We had a few questions regarding the updated design of the new cover, which were addressed quickly and efficiently. We truly cannot fault the support we received. The chair itself is of premium quality, and we look forward to many more years of use! We also have a fantastic quality hammock that we had also bought from Simply Hammocks. I ordered a hammock as the good weather started from Simply Hammocks. It arrived on time. The base is really solid and the hammock itself is excellent quality. I received and email from them to ask if everything was OK. The is a newish small company who make all sorts of garden objects. They are lovely to deal with and deserve to do well

The ropes on our hanging chair snapped and so I phoned them up to see if they did replacement ropes.
Excellent service and communication resulted in a new set of ropes arriving 48 hours after my initial call.
Highly recommend.

A great experience dealing with Simply Hammocks. I was buying a stand for my existing hammock after the gatepost it was on fell down a couple of summers ago, along with a new hammock chair. The team contacted me prior to despatch to make sure I hadn't made a mistake as the hammock chair and stand I'd ordered wouldn't work together - great customer service making sure I'd not got it wrong - if I had it would have been a pain for everyone!

I love the new hammock chair and the stand for our existing hammock is super sturdy - I'm hoping even my son will be confident to give the hammock another go (it was his head the aforementioned gate post landed on!). Looking forward to some lazy sunny afternoons in the garden now - thanks!

We bought the globo double royal, we've had it a couple of weeks and it's been a game changer for our family! It's super comfortable, it rocks very gently if there's any movement and is extremely relaxing to sit and lie in. Delivered as agreed. A huge thanks to Greg also who took the time to answer a ridiculous number of questions about this product. 10/10.

We bought three of the Amazonas Globo hanging sofa chairs to hang from our garden pagoda. Wow !! Absolutely stunning. Manufactured with the precision that you would expect from German engineering; everything pre drilled; threaded; and simple to build in 15 minutes. Robust and amazingly comfortable - order the Amazonas hooks as well - similarly robust!! Service from Greg has been exceptional - phoned me personally to say that they didn’t have three in stock and gave me an expected delivery date. Text me afterwards to make sure that everything was ok. First class. Extremely highly recommended !!!!

I bought a replacement hammock for our stand and the guys couldn’t be more helpful in getting the right one and advice on setting up properly. Will definitely use them again.

I spoke with Greg at the company who couldn’t have been more helpful, the delivery was prompt and I was kept well informed. The two seater globo swinging chair was easy to set up- I done this by myself in 40mins. Bought for my disabled daughter to enjoy time in the garden and for some sensory input, looks very sturdy and expensive. I’m considering buying another…
