I have purchased 2 hammock hooks (wall hooks). It's a great product of high quality, very sturdy, nice shiny metal. Also fixing plates, screws etc. included.

Great product , great price and quick delivery

I ordered product on 2nd December, and have yet to receive it. Very disappointed.

The hammock arrived quickly, was delivered carefully by the courier and was in perfect condition. It is exactly the colour that it looked on screen and the price was good. Very happy!

Good communication with the customer. The hammock is lovely!!

I ordered a hammock which was too large for my stand. I returned the next day, following their very specific instructions to fold the hammock and return in a secure bag (I used theirs). It has been over a week since this company has received the return and still no refund or any contact. They've ignored my email and don't answer the customer support line. I am currently out over £100. In this day and age of online retail, people should be able to buy with confidence that if the product doesn't meet their needs, a safe and reliable return is an option. I would not recommend buying anything from this company unless you are happy to risk losing your money.

Ordered the Brazilian double hammock. Arrived and is a lot shorter (fabric area and total length) than advertised. I’ve tried the telephone number for customer services during the listed operating time but a recording simply confirms that they cannot answer the phone and I should try later. Very disappointed.

Update: received a request from Trustpilot to provide further details for the company to address the issue. I have done so and then wondered why they have not yet answered my email that I sent to them this morning if they are so proactive indeed. So I also tried to ring them but they are still not answering their phone. Shame really.

Update: after some email exchange with Maurits of Tropilex, he explained that a 10% stretch of the fabric could be expected and that would explained why the hammock wasn’t of the advertised length. He offered a discount but I chose to return the hammock. Total return process took about 14 days including the refund showing on my payment card. Can’t complain about that.

returns appear to be hopeless.
The hammock was too stretchy and almost touched the floor when hung in the correct stand by their sizing. Used their returns service and no confirmation email or text on tracking. Called their helpline..waited for an age listening to rubbish and then the message said, no-one was available and phone cut off. emailed....yet to have any assistance. This was an expensive item and I currently can't recommend them. I will update this if I receive assistance.

I have not received an email from you yet and it is not in my spam folder. I have already called and emailed you with my details so hopefully you will read that and respond. I have the tracking details now and you received the returned item 23/5/24.

Sadly I can still not recommend Hammock Giant as I have still had no contact from them at all via email despite DPD having delivered my returned item 11 days ago to them. I have had no acknowledgement and no refund of the expensive item.

5/6/24- I can now update this with better experience outcome. communication was absent but I have now received full refund. thank you.

Extremely happy with this hammock, replaced one the mice found eatable! Feel it will last for years, although thought it should have metal loop insert to strengthen loops, but im sure it will last and will recommend it over cheaper alternatives found on amazon..

So easy to assemble , good degree of adjustment on tension . Looks fine and reminds me of my days with scouts hammocking between trees . Very comfortable to sleep in !
