We love SimplyCook. We've subscribed for over a year now and we've never eaten so well. Vegetarian meals at restaurants are very very rarely as good as what we cook ourselves with these magic pots.... See more

Loving the simplicity of this.
Always been a traditional English/italian cook bringing up a family of 6. Now all happy in their own families time for the parents to love trying lots of world dishes
So good that’s it’s the spices etc that can just be kept so no waste
Love it would highly recommend

To begin with I was really happy but then I found that I had used all I was interested in. Plus, the portions are huge.
Unable to find a way if canceling my subscription I kept moving the delivery day back by a month, setting my phone calendar to remind me to do so.
Then my card stopped working so I had to get a new one and didn't bother updating it in my profile. Thankfully they cancelled my subscription as a result.
I still have a plethora of unused boxes of spice to use so I should be fine for long time.

Great selection of easy to make recipes which include all the fresh spices and sauces. You buy any meats or fish required and fresh veg. You can request a quicker or later delivery date to suit your requirements.

Returned to SimplyCook in response to an offer, following receiving great recipes and spices for several months in 2024. A subscription error resulted in me being overcharged and I accordingly contacted the Happiness Team who confirmed within an hour or so that they would refund me, which they did in the next couple of days. Great customer service

I think this company will benefit many many families as they take the pressure off especially in busy working families. Having said that this doesn’t apply to me. I was given a few boxes off my brother to try and each one was lovely. I am retired and love cooking so these only add to my cooking experience especially when busy. There is one recipe here called Balinese Chicken curry which is especially gorgeous. I reached out to Simplycook today to see if I could order all four of these. Was helped by a very helpful lady called Mia who guided me through it. Can’t wait to receive them now. If you like a coconut flavoured curry with lovely flavour undertones this is one for you. Not too spicy
We’ll done

I have tried a few different SimplyCook recipes, they are easy to use and you can add or change any ingredients to suit your own likes.

As a university student having the ease of just getting the fresh ingredients when I need them then being able to cook multiple serving is amazing and ensuring my diet is kept varied to oppose just pot noodles. I would recommend!

We loved all the Simply Cook recipe boxes- Cuban prawn pasta was possibly the favourite! Very easy to make but elevates the weekly menu

I can't comment on the product as due to my postcode it looks like the special offer has already been used. I can't fault the customer service and the quick way they handled my queries. They have offered to refund me so I can experience their product. I may just do that. As they do look delicious.

Was enticed into trying a ‘free’ sample box at the cost of the postage. However, I found I had to agree to set up a subscription, before the sample box would be despatched. I am always a little concerned about giving credit card details to an organisation, with which I am unfamiliar. However, I was reassured, to some extent, by the promise that I could cancel at any time.
Having tried one recipe (which I found poor) from the ‘free’ sample box, and thinking that their prices were too expensive – £9.99 plus postage for 12 small pots of spice type ingredients - I decided to cancel, but found that I could not delete my personal and credit card details from their system, although they do claim that my credit card details will be removed after, I think, 90 days of my failing to purchase anything. So, they’ve got access to my credit card details for a few weeks, at least!
Their way of doing business is not to my liking – their insistence on setting up a subscription account (albeit with the right to cancel at any time) seems to me that they are hoping to charge for further supplies on the basis of customers forgetting to cancel – inertia selling! Not deleting my card details for a few weeks does not fill me with confidence, either.
I have received a number of e-mails from members of their curiously named ‘Customer Happiness Team’. I hope, now I have cancelled the subscription, that I will receive no more, but, perhaps, their ‘Customer Unhappiness Team’ will delete all of my details from their system.
I will avoid dealing with this company in the future.
Having received feedback on my review, I revisited the communications received from Simply Cook and tried to see how to cancel my account completely. Cancelling my subscription, it seems, was not enough, my account and card details would have remained on their system for goodness knows how long and I could find no way to remove them. I, therefore, had to e-mail them to request a complete removal of my account, and its attendant details. In fairness, I received a quick response and they confirmed they will remove all my account details from their system ‘within 28 days’! Why 28 days?
I remain unimpressed by the way Simply Cook does business. If anybody is lured in to accepting a ‘free’ sample, they will be obliged to set up an account and must remember to cancel their subscription in good time, if they do not want to pay for repeat orders. If they want their account and all their personal and payment details removed from Simply Cook’s system, they will have to remember to e-mail them to get this done.
