***Update. Simplify Living contacted me and offered a refund and asked that I update my review. It was very generous for them to to give me a refund and I hope them having a US warehouse in the future makes returns and exchanges easier for other people. I wish I could give this 3.5 stars but that's not an option on Trust Pilot. I got a refund because I left a negative review and while I appreciate it is a weird way to pressure someone to change their reviews. To be perfectly honest I knew the cost of returns would be on the higher side and was expecting to pay maybe $30 or so and was fine with that but, $65 was shocking. Even if they don't have a US warehouse I think they should offer a printable packing slip with a fixed shipping cost that the customer is aware of at the time of purchase of the cost and the process for returns. I still stand by my review of their bags themselves. Original Review: Don't order if you are thinking of possibly returning the product. I got two crossbody bags (on sale) for around $100. They just weren't what I was expecting - bulky, bad material feel and an awkward size. My fault when ordering was not checking their return policy. The company is in Australia and it would have cost me $65 minimum to ship these back from the US so now I'm stuck with them about out $100. They don't even give you a label and it's impossible to return in the original packaging - which was cheap, shrink wrap plastic. The bags are OK but they should be like $20-$30 range not $50-$60.

On our recent trip we used the Packing Cubes and Universal Travel Adapter which I purchased pre-travel. the best purchases i have ever made. Our suitcases were so extremely organised like never before. Clothes that didn't get used until the end of our 2 week trip were still neatly folded and completely wearable as there was no rummaging through the cases through the previous days.
The travel adapter was great as didn't require taking several plugs for charging phones etc as the mulktiple ports worked a treat. thoroughly recommend theses products for their ease a d durability.

The clear photos and descriptions of the products made it easy to decide what products to buy. I bought a cross body bag that locks.
And a compact with all sorts of connections for my phone, kindle, camera, and power bank. Just pop this into my travel bag and away I go.
First of all they are very quick to respond to questions, and since timing is important to me receiving my backpack on time was a huge win in their column.

Great product. The only issue was it was delivered the day after we left on our trip. It was delayed twice.
Absolutely do not buy products from here. A bag with no brand name and a strange smell arrived; it was clearly just a cheap bag made in China with absolutely no anti-theft capabilities. Unlike the advertisement, the strap felt foul like plastic, and it even arrived damaged. When I tried to get a refund, they told me to pay the return shipping fee as well. If you still want an anti-theft bag, buy a genuine Pacsafe. Don't waste your money here.

So I order my sling bag from the Canadian site. It says it will take 2 to 8 days to arrive meaning that I will get it no later than the day before I go on my European vacation. Perfect!
Then when it ships I get an email saying that it's not expected until three days AFTER I arrive, meaning it's actually taking 12 days to get to me. I then go on their non-Canadian website, where it states delivery times are 3 to 10 days. WTF?! So I write them, and tell them about the discrepancy in delivery timelines. They agree there's a discrepancy, apologize, and say "no problem" you can return it as soon as you get back from the trip it was intended for, for a refund. Sounds like great customer service… Right?!
Except what they DON'T tell you, is that in their policy, if you want to return anything, you have to pay for the shipping yourself. And when you're returning one bag from Canada to Australia, the cost of the shipping is almost as much as the refund you're going to get.
So do not believe or accept that you have a 30 day money back guarantee. You have a 30 day and-then-you-can-pay-to-return-it-to-Australia-and-whatever-money-is-left-over-you'll-get-back guarantee.
Which of course… Is not a money back guarantee. At all.
Pretty livid about the whole process.

I purchased a shoulder bag after about 3 weeks there was a slight problem with the strap . I rang them and they asked for a photo the next day I got a call back and they told me that a new bag was on the way . So for me they deserve 5 stars

Browsing from a Canadian website with a .ca URL and reading - Simplify Living is a Canadian brand focused on helping individuals pack smarter, travel lighter, and stay organized, I expected to be dealing with a Canadian -based company and not one from the other side of the world to me. In trying to return 2 bags as they were too small for my needs, I now find I must return them to Australia. The cost of couriering them there would far exceed my refund amount. I am now stuck with 2 bags that I cannot use, and out of pocket for the cost. Furthermore, I never received the NEW - FREE 2026 Simplify Travel Guide as stated on the website. I find Simplify Living web content to be misleading and I will never deal with this company again.

Thinking I was supporting an Aussie company, I bought a backpack and a cross body bag. The first red flag was that the order was labelled by Aus Post as being shipped from a company or place called Qixuan. The delivery then took over a week and a half to arrive. The next red flag was that the cross body bag I received was different to what the image was on the website. The quality was awful, it looked like it came from Temu. It was also damaged on the inside. As per the refund policy, I requested a refund. The next red flag, every email is answered by a. AI bot. I got a very AI reply to my email request from "customer service" within a minute of hitting send.
I had to pay for the postage to send my items back to an address in QLD. It arrived there over a month ago and I'm yet to see my refund. I'm now $120 out of pocket. Every email I send gets a similar AI response: "Your returned item has been received, but the refund is still pending as we are waiting for the inspection to be completed. We're now expediting this with our returns team to get things moving". Why does it take over a month to "inspect"? This company is a scam. Steer clear!!!

Ordered 2 anti theft bags for my wife and I and a lightweight backpack for myself for travelling through Europe. Used bags every day. Great quality product that kept my belongings safe and secure from pickpockets. . Minor problem with the backpack - did not impact the use or functionality. Contacted Simplify Living while travelling and a new one was delivered to my local post office while I was travelling. Did not require me to return the original back pack.Great service and price
