Their meals really can be trusted and haven’t had any doubts about the factual origin of them. Price are higher than on usual products, but this is the same everywhere, so not making a fuss.

There are certain shortcomings of this service besides brilliant assortment of various food.
It seems to me that guys target more vegans than carnivores, nevertheless the assortment is big.
And yeah, speaking of all those food I ordered here, then I have done everything within minutes. It was quite clear.
Speaking about pricing and shipping, uhm... I guess it could be better, definitely. They need to work on it and then they will have less competitors in this market, period.

Too much work to prep, no meat option, and no English menu

The Simple Feast meals are truly delectable. They are so easy to cook and absolutely delicious. They really do provide a complete vegetarian feast that our family of three thoroughly enjoys. The one downside is that the delivery box is huge and there is so much waste. The containers say they can be composted, but they only compost in a commercial compost facility, which we don't have access to.

I have been having Simple Feast for almost a year. I am a total carnivore married to a vegan. I also love to cook and try any and all foods. The Simple Feast meals month after month are so extrodinary that we dine having the foods which was impossible and so much work and I am the one raving about the flavors and complexity of our dinners and how nice it is to have such wonderful dishes so easily..

I received my box with three meals. The first thing that was noticeable to me was the eco packaging. It was all either recyclable, biodegradable, compostable, or 99% plant based. Simple Feast was the first company I've seen to specifically acknowledge the challenge of accessing commercial composting facilities and making a commitment to removing the friction and barriers for customers.

As for the meals, I'm an intuitive cook and never tend to use recipes. The recipes were easy to follow, and inspired some modifications from me. It was the first time I enjoyed using a recipe as a guide, but didn't feel like I had to be constrained. That said, it would be great if there were customization options available. For example, I had the spinach pakora burgers, but I always eat burgers "protein style" (sans bread). I would have preferred to express that preference in advance so I wouldn't have had to throw the bread out, as I try to be zero waste.

Meals were tasty, portions were good, and the experience has sparked some inspiration that I will take to the kitchen in the future when making my next meal from scratch.

Highly recommend because of (i) diversity of meals, (ii) ease of preparation, and (iii) the brand's alignment with my own (plant-based, sustainability forward) values. Did I mention Simple Feast is a B Corp? That means it meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

Simply the most incredible meals and easy to prepare. I can’t say enough about how great this is!

We love all food we get from Simple feast.
Maximum time we spend to prepare in not more than 15 -20 minutes then we have a delicious fresh warm food.
We receive wide variety of food from different cuisines which is very interesting.

I don't think I have ever written a review in my life. After ordering Simple Feast for a few months, we have decided to go full vegan. The meals are delicious, easy to prepare. Some ingredients are unknown to me and since not everything is marked I had to Google or guess a few times. We had one or 2 occasions where a few ingredients were missed, but it was solved quickly and painlessly. Nothing but good things to say about this company

It is good food but I can several cons. I can't do this in 15 minutes, as advertized. I have to understand what I'm doing. The ingredients, packets are not labeled according to ingredients but just according to recipe number 1-5. I have to read the steps like 5 times to figure out what goes with what because in 1 recipe its usually 3 different parts. If there are ingredients I need to prep, put that first ie not first heat the zuchini pure. Then chop vegetebles X X and X. You don't know how fast I chop! Then the hot part of the dish is ready but the sallad isn't so it gets cold.
And I'm not a chef, I can recognize a tomato but miso vs soy sauce? Coriander sauce vs pesto? Please label the packages (!!!). You also don't get the ingredients/components at the beginning of the recipe like you should, which is useful to set up and understand de recipe, instead you get like the back of a can of a ton of ingredients which have been already prepared some together, some not. So, I'll think twice before repeating. It's more complicated than it needs to be.

Amazing! I’ve only eaten the first two meals in the box so far, but I am really amazed by how good it is. It’s really well seasoned and quick to prepare. My only complaint is that you don’t get the full recipe. I would love to be able to copy some of the recipes, and I know that it wouldn’t affect how much the company sells, because people would still buy the boxes because of the convenience.

Easy to prepare and good food. I don't give 5 stars only because the menu is all in Danish and I need to translate it. Often I don't understand everything because of the language. Sometimes I am confused about what to do in the preparation. Besides this, I am quite satisfied with the system.

Simply amazing! I’ve tried many different meal boxes (Aarstiderne, Hello Fresh) and none can even get close to simple feast! Non vegans shouldn’t be scared. It’s amazing and totally worth the money. Never going back 😁

Taste: 4 stars
The vegetables are fresh and the main dishes are well seasoned and tasty. You get a nice variety of meals every week and you get to choose which dishes you would prefer. I personally have decided to stay away from the tomato-based dishes as they tend to be a bit too sour and over-seasoned for my liking. But that's just a matter of taste! The main thing is that there's something for everyone on the menu.

DIY Preparation: 4 stars
There are some things on the menu that require some time to prepare. Like the side dishes (sallads) which you have to wash chop and season. The quesadillas which you have to prepare and put in the oven, the rice or noodles which you have to cook yourself. I personally don't mind these extra steps as it allows you to customize the meals a bit and also interact with the food in a way that makes it feel like a "home cooked" meal.

Most meals take around 15 minutes to prepare.

Packaging: 1 star
Simple Feast claims to be an environmentally friendly company. However I do not think this is reflected in the way the meals have been packaged. If you've subscribed to the 2-3 people menu then you will typically receive between 10-15 packages in total. Usually 3 plastic boxes each containing fresh parsley (why not put it all in one box or paper bag instead of dividing the portions in separate boxes?). Another 3 plastic boxes containing small plastic bags or containers of sallad dressing. Another 3-4 plastic boxes containing the main dishes (usually sauces) and finally 3 or more paper bags containing the vegetables.

The packaging really does need to be improved somehow. Simple feast has announced that from week 6 onwards they will be using packages made from 91% recycled plastic, 9% new plastic. They are apparently still working on improving their packaging in order to provide reusable containers in the near future. I will be giving 5 stars when and if this actually happens :)

Also, I really don't understand why they include a box of tap water? I mean unless your meals are being delivered in the middle of nowhere, we all have tap water at home don't we? I've never consumed this water and really wish there was a way to exclude this item from the menu.

Always on time. Easy to track where the package is and to be able to coordinate your schedule so that you're at home when the package arrives.

Diverse, plant- based meals suitable for the whole family. Tasty. Quick and easy to make. Recyclable packaging. I would appreciate possibility of ordering 5 meals for 5 days.

Just got my first box and I'm very pleasantly surprised by the quality, taste, and even packaging of the meals. This seems not to be your average low-cost box. I was a hello fresh subscriber but was very disappointed with the quality of their offering. So far the Simple Feast meals exceed expectations!

Keep it up, you got a great product!
