Exceptional Customer Service

I bought the SS Slim smart lock from simpled.uk. What impressed me the most was their customer service – the support team responded quickly, politely, and explained everything clearly.

I had some questions about a discount, and they retroactively applied a 10% “first order” discount to the lock price and refunded the difference. This really showed that they care about their customers.
I can confidently recommend this company and their SS Slim lock.

Above and beyond customer service

This is not the first time I’ve written a positive review about this company. I felt the need to reinforce the super customer service that I have received yet again, following an issue I had with one of my door locks. This company went above and beyond to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and the issue was resolved within days. I can highly recommend.

Great smart Lock but tough to fit

Having done my research, I was relieved that my efforts to fit the slimline (TF model) lock, myself (without having any DIY experience), were succesful and it was great to have a lock which no longer requires me to take house keys (finger print sensor, PIN codes etc..) with me and have a door that auto locks behind me. However I was reliant on a 3rd party tutorial on YouTube, as it wasn't that straight forward to fit and having to remove the multi point locking system to accomodate the extra length on the power cable behind it, was a lot more than I wanted. My recommendations are that the arrow marking the position of the external handle relative to the spindle needed to be much clearer (eg coloured red or black rather than just embossed on the metal), that the power cable length should be more easily adjustable, that the QR code, for the instruction manual, needed to be more prominent within the box and combined withsome basic pictorial instructions as well as highlighting the correct App (the Simpled one is available for download but not for use)

Simpled - Leverline.

Secured My Home with a Flawless, High-Quality Smart Handle!

I needed a reliable way to secure an internal wooden door at specific times for safety, and I quickly became frustrated with the limited options—from basic bathroom locks to clunky smart overlays. After some research, I found Simpled and their Leverline smart door handle, which looked like the perfect, sleek solution. I took the plunge during their Black Friday sale and ordered one.

Delivery and First Impressions:
The handle arrived promptly the very next day, well-packaged, and felt robust and well-constructed straight out of the box.

Exceptional Customer Support (The Latch):
I immediately ran into one issue: the handle came supplied with an adjustable 60/70mm backset latch, but my door required a 45mm backset. I contacted the Simpled helpline, and although they didn't stock the 45mm latch, the representative was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He advised they were readily available from any decent retailer, which allowed me to quickly source a compatible latch from Amazon. This demonstrated great support and knowledge, even when they couldn't supply the accessory themselves.

Installation & Setup:
The installation the next day was straightforward. It took me about an hour total, including a little chiseling to adjust the latch hole and drilling the two new handle holes. The instructions were very clear.
I also purchased the optional WiFi hub. Once the Leverline was operational, connecting the hub (2.4GHz only) and getting both devices recognized in the TTLock app took mere minutes. A quick note: Simpled devices currently use the free TTLock app, which was clarified by the helpline rep—their own Simpled app is a future product currently in development.

Performance and Integration:
Two days in, I couldn't be happier. The lock is faultless, exceptionally well-built, and looks fantastic on the door. Setting up a PIN code and thumbprint was simple, and both work perfectly. Unlocking via the app is easy, and I was even able to integrate it into Home Assistant with a little help from HACS and Github—a huge bonus for tech enthusiasts!
(The only minor hitch is with my iWatch—holding it up as an NFC device currently brings up the bank card payment screen instead of unlocking the door. I still need to figure that bit out!)

Final impression:
Based on the quality of the product, the prompt delivery, the helpful customer service, and the flawless operation, I highly recommend Simpled and the Leverline smart handle. It’s been an excellent experience.

Disappointing experience, researched locks in advance, when ready to order :

simpled don’t answer the phone .. EVER !!

They don’t fur fill their offers

The chat support are not interested in helping they just want to take detail & send quotes

All of this before a purchase can you imagine what the after service would look like

We are a small team with a maximum of three members of staff on the phones at any one time, who cant just hang up our current conversations because you are chain calling 10 times in 30 minutes, and did infact call you back the second we were free.

The chat was actually trying to help you by sending you an "email quote" with the discount code that wasnt working applied to it, containing a secure payment link and completely bypassing the website, but you refused to give your details and thus couldnt be helped that way, the 10% discount code was also immediately fixed this morning.

We have a plethora of 5 star reviews, even multiple years post purchase showcasing our customer service.

Your trustpilot profile shows that you often leave 1 star reviews calling companies "corrupt" and "thieves" and therefore we know there is nothing we can do to change your opinion moving forward, but felt we should have a chance to address the unfair points you have raised.

Remotely operated Smart locking system.
The initial contact and discussions about my needs were very productive and allowed me to purchase the equipment needed. The delivery of which came by different carriers, one of which, the most important bit the Lock, went missing. Simpled accepted the word of the carrier who insisted they delivered when I could prove they hadn't, and speaking with a human proved problematic, especially as I had someone arranged and waiting to fit it along with an extended system.
That being said! When it did arrive the security systems man employed to fit my extensive set up said it was easy to fit and an excellent product, to which I entirely concur, and that he would recommend it to any of his clients looking for a similar system.
Having been installed and working now for some six weeks it is working as well and as we hoped and would highly recommend it.
But for the delivery hiccup I would have given them Five Stars, however they did redeem themselves and would recommend for their technical expertise.

2 year review. I couldn’t be happier

I purchased and had my double sided smart lock installed about 2 years ago.
It’s a brilliant lock, and it gives me peace of mind about my home security.
Yesterday, it decided to have a day off, and wouldn’t let my open my door to get out. Alexa, wouldn’t unlock it either, so I rang Simpled, and explained my concerns.They arranged for one of their technicians to give me a call back. Steve Kerr, called me straight away, and talked me through some procedures. In no time at all, My lock was up and running, again.
I would highly recommend Simpled, for their locks and their sterling, after sales. Two years after the purchase, they still helped me. You can’t fault that!

Great customer service

I had an issue with my fingerprint reader after some months of use. I emailed the service dept and was dealt with quickly and with a satisfactory outcome.
I'd used them before for missing fobs and they were super fast in sending new ones.
This company is very good at a personal service. A1 .

MF cylinder and keypad on 3 point locking door.

So after a lot of research and back and forth with the simpled tech team I tried a couple of options. In the end I came to a decision that the MF cylinder lock would work best for me. The lock its up and running and works perfectly I am very pleased with my cylinder lock and keypad. It was very simpled to fit, I did have to cut the spindle to size but wasnt a big deal if you have the wright tools for the job. Now I dont have to worry about my daughter loosing her door keys or struggling to find my key to get in the house with a buggy and bags of luggage. Simpled made life simpled literally. My door has a 3 point locking system and didn't lock once closed behind me or didnt have a pull the handle up to lock. Now this piece of equipment makes sure my door is secure even if I forget. With my 3 point locking and a thumb turn lock made it limited to what I could use on my front door but after all the MF cylinder was less work than all the others and I didn't have to strip the whole door to fit it just had to change the cylinder lock. Perfect. Im very happy and thank simpled for the swift responses when advice was needed. They are always just and email or phone call away so helpful.
I done this and change my own lock by myself its that simple.

Extremely Poor Experience - DONT BUY

Below is the list of pathetic experience so far
1) Sent wrong colour item first time
2) After complaint, sent again the wrong colour
3) Third time lucky, received ordered colour after a week of original order
4) It has 3 scratches at different places
5) Rubber pads were full of white dusts
6) App keeps showing unauthorised error while setting for the first time
7) Resetting the device did not work
8) No manual or help supplied. At least chinese seller do provide some instructions though english was okay. How come this company is UK based.

Owner of the company should read this and act accordingly

I’ve purchased about a dozen of these…

I’ve purchased about a dozen of these locks over several months for my Airbnb properties. While most function adequately, I’ve experienced recurring issues with the handle bolt. The bolt that secures the handle repeatedly loosens over time. Simpled support advised me to tighten the Allen screw with pliers, but even after doing so, it still works loose.

This has created a serious safety concern: guests have found themselves unable to exit, which is a fire hazard since the key can only be used from the outside. I’ve now resorted to applying Loctite to the bolt threads, which seems to help, however only time will tell. This points to a clear design flaw.

I strongly believe this issue should be disclosed in the product documentation and ideally a more permanent fix should be implemented—or at the very least, a note should be included in the box to warn customers.

Secondly, the battery cover is poorly designed. The threaded insert that holds the screw broke away from the device and stuck to the screw itself. As a result, I’ve had to tape the cover in place just to keep it secure.

I have found Simpled support to be ok, they did replace a lock for me and another part that was needed, however it was not a quick process, this left me frustrated and having to guide guests in to other doors. When I complained they recommended that as a commercial operation I should have spare locks in stock, I don’t understand why I should need to if the product and after service is of an acceptable standard, if that is the case should I keep a spare everything?

I am yet to see in time if these locks will serve me well, however for a lock priced around £300, the build quality is disappointing, especially compared to alternatives like Yale. There is a similar lock available on amazon for a lot less, it looks exactly the same, I believe these are poor quality just purchased out of China and rebranded Simpled. Given these issues, If I could go back I certainly wouldn’t choose to purchase Simpled again.

Superb product and amazing personalised customer support. I had an issue fitting to my none standard door and they offered lots of support and sent additional parts to help overcome the issues. Nothing was too much trouble. Timely, efficient and extremely helpful support. Highly recommended

Excellent door lock.
Took me a while to persuade myself I needed the lock, but now after only 1 day of having it I'm a convert. Thinking of changing my other door to a simpled lock too now.
