Smooth experience
To collect the car, waiting was only 1 minute and I could choose out of 3 different cars.
Car was clean and very comfortable.
The return of the car went smooth and the staff was very friendly.

Out of Hours Service.
Polite, helpful and efficient. Office at Perugia Airport stayed open beyond normal office hours as our flight was over an hour late. With good humour.

Choose any other service, really. There Are several great ones, Avis, CLA. However, Sicily by Car is percieved as the typical scam rental service. Their marketing is decieving, got forced to pay 500 eur for nothing, and did not get the car in order. Both attendants had attitude Worse than German Club bounchers.

We firmly reject any allegation of fraud or deceptive practices.
We would like to clarify that presenting a valid physical driver's license and a credit card in the main driver's name is a mandatory contractual and legal requirement to release the vehicle and secure the deposit. When these fundamental criteria are not met, the standard booking cannot proceed. Regarding our staff, we demand professional conduct from all our employees at all times and regret if their tone was perceived as unhelpful during the management of these non-compliant documents.

You had to go look for the car yourself; very little information.
The car's air conditioning wasn't working properly.
We put €52 worth of fuel in, but it wasn't enough; when we returned the car, we had to go and refuel again, or else it would have cost us more than €40.

We regret to hear that your rental experience did not meet your expectations.
Regarding the vehicle's technical performance, the car assigned was practically new—with only 9,000 km on the clock—and in optimal working condition upon release; nevertheless, technical anomalies can occasionally occur unexpectedly. In accordance with our rental terms and conditions, customers are required to inspect the vehicle before leaving the parking area and immediately report any non-conformity or defect to our staff.
Concerning the fuel, our contracts strictly apply the "Full-to-Full" policy. The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with the exact same level. Because fuel prices fluctuate and tank capacities vary by model, inserting a fixed monetary amount does not automatically guarantee a full tank; ensuring the gauge shows full upon return is the driver's responsibility to avoid contractually mandated refueling fees.

Great Experience. Use them !
I have used many rental companies in Italy and France, often with very poor results but this company was seamless from start to finish.
Car pick up took 5 minutes (at Catania Airport) and the car was exactly as described. They were very open about the marks already on the car and had highlighted all issues on the paperwork.
On returning the car, the guy checking it over was thorough and did highlight a couple of things he wasn't sure of. I had taken a video of the car when I picked it up and he was quick to accept the marks had existed on pick up but explained his reasoning for checking. No push back, no funny business, just doing his job, quickly and efficiently.
I will definitely use them again when travelling to Italy.
