apple watch replacement

My apple watch died and I didn’t wanna spend another crazy amount. Got the ultra instead and honestly it covers everything I need. Looks better too imo.

ZERO Stars would be better…

The Crusader watch is médium quality and lowest level app. The problems include short battery life, extremely poor bluetooth connectivity,non existant customer service (voicemail FULL), probably requests for refund, they claim lifetime warranty but nothing you could possibly qualify for so no warranty. Like i said, NO WARRANTY! DO NOT BUY. You will receive daily offers of bogus crdits available from the fictional company president MIKE. SCAMMERS

survived the pool test

Wore my shield to a pool party last weekend and honestly forgot it was even there. Jumped in without thinking and yeah no issues at all. That’s when I kinda realized it’s actually built properly.

No watch after 10 days

Ordered on 3/17. Today is 03/27 and still no watch. It's somewhere in the bowells of the USPS. Customer Service told me to be patient. They stoopped corresponding when I mentioned a refund. I'm out the money, and no watch after 10 days. It's only 300 miles from Vegas to Reno.

Pretty nice, for a few months; warranty not real

I bought a Luxium Shield on June 7th 2025. The shipping wasn't bad, arrived in a about a week. I also ordered the metal band for it but never ended up installing it because the rubber one that comes on it didn't suck. The app that you use with the watch doesn't have many features or integration but that's okay because I'm not a huge tech guy anyway. I generally like a watch for the day, date and time. I did like all the health monitoring features and workout tracking but also never used those that much either. Overall the battery life was about 5 or 6 days without having to charge and it charges in a couple hours.

My complaint is that now after less than a year the watch just went blank one day. The screen lights up but the display is totally blank. I submitted a claim for the "lifetime guarantee". That is a compete joke and the joke is on the customer. They take about 10 days after you submit the claim to tell you your claim is denied without giving any specific reason. This is copied from the email:

Hello Eric,
Your claim has been reviewed by our internal team and has been Not Approved. The reason for the claim not being approved is: Claim Reason Does Not Fall Under Lifetime Guarantee.
Once again, we truly apologize that your experience with Luxium was unsatisfactory and we thank you for your understanding of this decision being final.

So I give 2 stars because the watch was pretty nice until it became useless. They do not honor their highly touted guarantee, and there are cheaper options if you're gonna need to buy a new one every few months anyway.
