I wish I’d read the reviews

I wish I’d read the reviews. Not a UK site like it pretends to be. To get a refund you have to go via China. Absolutely rubbish, arrived late in a smashed up
Old box. I could not gift it as a result. Cheap, nasty & overpriced. Note to self always check reviews!!

Very very long delivery times

Took money immediately and nearly 3 weeks in and still no delivery. No apologies, just keep telling me it's in transit. Tracking doesn't work and they ignore requests for a refund. Shop elsewhere people

Avoid and dont have any hopes up

Everything is wrong with the company. Dress arrived and looks nothing like in puctures. Falsy advertisement, goods from china, return costs as its based in china plus there are export taxes on return items and company itself is very harrassing. When requested the return instructions was harrased by many eamils offering 50% off next purchase, then 30% refund and keep item etc and so on. Customer service are ignorant amd rude, lying to your face. Reported everywhere i could, but perhaps this should be done my alot more customers.
AliExpress better service and return policies than this company, total scam.

Do Not Waste Your Money...

Beware this company is a total rip off. I purchased two outside lanterns as seen on Pintrest. The lanterns finally arrived from China (not London), absolutely nothing like the ones shown on line. The Lanterns shown on pintrest looked the size of a pumpkin the ones received are very poor quality and the size of a apple. I am now trying with difficulty to get my money back, don't waste yours..

A 0 star review

A 0 star review. Not based in London. Ordered a pair of Skyline Wide Leg Jeans advertised as Tall fit - 38" inseam. Finally arrived 2 weeks later (ordered 4 Jan) from China.
Fabric was thin and lightweight nowhere near even the lightest of standard denim weight. The length was a joke! For context I'm 5ft 10in and would usually buy 36" inseam which sits just passed my ankles. This pair sits mid-calf, more like 70s cullotte length that you'd wear over knee high boots. Read reviews after I placed the order - my fault. I'm not even going to attempt returning/requesting a refund, sounds like it would be a waste of time and more costly than the £31.50 already spent. (Apparently 50% off the full price!). They are wide and the colour's ok, but that's about it!
You'd be better off buying a pair from Primark much better quality or ASOS, Topshop or LTS for tall ladies.
Unless you're Petite (order 38" if you plan to wear long, covering high heels) and want a summer weight fabric to wear in HOT weather and don't mind waiting the 2-3 week delivery time, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

“Goods not as described and refusal to issue a full refund”

The goods I received were not as described and of unacceptable quality compared to what was advertised on the website.
I contacted the seller immediately and exercised my statutory right to reject the goods and receive a full refund under UK consumer law.
Instead of resolving the issue, the seller repeatedly refused a full refund and attempted to pressure me into accepting partial refunds (30%, then 50%, then 70%).
I was also told that a full refund would only be possible if I returned the goods to China at my own expense. During this process, the seller suggested declaring a lower customs value on the return package, which I refused to do.
The seller relied on their internal “return policy” rather than complying with consumer rights. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this store and would strongly advise UK customers to be cautious.

🧭 How I got my money back: a real step-by-step example

I ordered a product from this online store.
The order arrived, but the item did not match the description and was poor quality.
In addition, delivery took more than 15 days, which was already disappointing.

Step 1. I contacted the seller and requested a full refund

I contacted the seller in writing and clearly stated that:

the product was not as described;

I wanted a full refund, not a discount or a coupon.

This is important: keep everything in writing, not in chat messages or phone calls.

Step 2. The seller started offering partial refunds

In response, the seller:

first offered 30%,

then 50%,

then 70% of the refund,
if I agreed to keep the item.

I refused, because:

a partial refund benefits the seller, not the customer;

if the product is poor quality, the customer is entitled to a 100% refund.

Step 3. I was asked to return the item to China at my own expense

After that, the seller said:

“A full refund is only possible if you return the item to China at your own cost.”

This is a key point.

An international return is:

expensive,

slow,

carries a risk of loss,

and is often used deliberately to make customers give up.

I did not send the item back.

Step 4. I was asked to underdeclare the customs value

The seller also suggested:

“Declare the value as 5–10 USD to avoid customs charges.”

I firmly refused, because:

this is not my responsibility;

it could cause legal problems for me, not for the seller.

Step 5. I reported the store to Shopify

I realised the store operates through Shopify (Shop Pay / Google Pay).

I went to the Shopify website and:

selected “Report a merchant”;

explained that:

the product was poor quality,

a full refund was refused,

partial refunds were pushed,

I was asked to return the item to China,

I was asked to underdeclare the value.

Important:
Shopify sent a copy of my report directly to the seller, which significantly increased pressure on them.

Step 6. I left a review on Trustpilot

I left a factual review, without emotion, explaining:

what I ordered;

what I received;

what the seller offered;

why I do not recommend this store.

This was not about revenge, but about:

warning other customers;

making it clear that the issue was publicly documented.

Step 7. Only then did I contact my bank

By this point, the correspondence with the seller had lasted over a month.

When it became clear the seller was deliberately delaying the process, I:

contacted my bank;

opened a card dispute (chargeback);

provided:

the full email correspondence,

the product description,

evidence of refusal to issue a full refund.

From submitting the claim to receiving the full refund, it took around two weeks.

Banks treat cases like this very seriously.

🧠 Key points to understand

Partial refunds are a tactic, not a solution.

International returns at the customer’s expense are a delay strategy.

Requests to underdeclare customs value are a red flag.

Banks and card networks are on the customer’s side when evidence exists.

Do not rush to return items internationally before speaking to your bank.

Final outcome:

👉 I received a full refund of the entire amount paid.

I’m sharing this update so other customers understand that you do not have to accept partial refunds or unreasonable conditions. Keep everything in writing, be aware of the real timelines involved, and use official consumer protection and dispute mechanisms when necessary.

Would give 0 if I could

Would give 0 if I could. Item took weeks to arrive. Ordered a plush realistic garland but the item couldn’t be further from what was described. The foliage was different (what there was of it), the hooks at the end were different. I wouldn’t pay £1 let alone £20! Offered me a 30% refund, then a 50% refund but when asking for a full refund they would not return my question about refunding return postage as per their terms (defective item) and stopped communicating . Wish I could add photos to show how bad it is. So disappointing, feel totally mislead, total scam. Please do not buy from this company.

Worst online item I’ve ever received

Do not purchase from this site. I have never wrote a review before but the product advertised compered to the one I received was unbelievable shocking. Ordered artisan garland for Christmas that was advertised in the image as thick and handmade, what I receive was nothing more than a few leaves and on a pice of string, massive gaps between, not lush or thick looking at all. Hugely disappointing and now have to pay for return to china after receiving an item I did not pay to receive! Do not purchase from this site.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

This shop is a total scam. The products are shoddy and shipped from china. Looks nothing like what I bought and was falling apart in the bag before I even took it out. You'd be better off just throwing your money out the window than wasting it here.

Avoid avoid!!!

Such a scam. Chinese company, making out to be a UK brand with a co.uk web address. The 30 day satisfaction guarantee is a joke! I tried to get a refund for an Xmas garland I ordered as it looked NOTHING like the advert, but the chat bot first offered me a 50% discount off future purchases, the man when I declined they offered me the same message with 30% discount, after declining again I had the same email with 50% again!! They’ve stopped offering me a discount now and other than subscribing me to their newsletter, they are ignoring me. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! It took 30 days to arrive and it is a very different product to what is advertised. You could buy the same thing in Poundland!!
I guess I should have considered the old saying of if it’s too good to be true it probably is!!

Scam

I placed an order on 4th November and repeatedly followed up on the delivery. First I was told it would take 10 days, then 15. By 23rd November, the order still hadn’t arrived and the tracking number showed no movement, so I requested a cancellation and refund. They confirmed the refund on 24th November. It is now 21st December and I have received neither the order nor the refund. Do not fall for this scam!

I don’t even want to give this company…

I don’t even want to give this company one star but it’s seems you have to select at least one. I ordered a Christmas garland from the Pinterest advert. The lush garland in the advert looked nothing like the plastic bit of nonsense I received. Their customer service offered me a discount off my next purchase - as if I would ever order from them again. To return this bit of plastic I paid £21.99 for, would be for my cost to get it back to China so in the end I would be even more out of pocket. Buyer be very aware of ordering from this company!! It’s called Rosemary London according to the emails they keep sending me and it’s all over Pinterest. Wish I could add photos of the thing they sent me. Where is the oversight on this type of abuse of consumers I wonder!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY....

Ordered from Pinterest, yes I know, what an idiot, on 6th November. The "London" company probably doesn't even exist. Still awaiting delivery, even though I have received a "tracking" notice which leads on to absolutely nowhere. Just thank goodness that I only spent £20.00, but it is the principle of the matter and the delivery agent is Royal Mail.
