OMG I wish I had researched and read these reviews. I just had an identical experience to Elizabeth's and Candice's. The yearly subscription is a SCAM. They bait you and after payment is processed is when you finally get in and realize they do not have specific diets for allergies (dairy in my case) or other health concerns (Autoimmune.) When you ask to cancel they say NO, even if you didn't use or start the program; they said the refund policy is only for their PRO-plan, and that they recommend you read the terms before making a purchase. Yet, their terms are only sent to you after you complain. No supervisor is available to discuss your refund --even after requested to get in touch with one, and they "suggest" I use the plan before October 2022 since they are no refunds.
Oh, and FYI--they have yearly auto renew set so you need to make sure you cancel that because they will charge you next year.
These bait and switch practices and awful customer service are why you should not trust them. I cannot attest to the actual plan, since I didn't even start it. I do believe they are violating consumer rights laws. Even a local gym has a thirty day refund policy and there are lemon laws for these types of SCAMS.
Excellent customer service
I was having trouble being consistent with workouts and considering cancelling my subscription. Then I spoke with Abram from customer service and found a solution to my issues. Great service from the Shift team and excited to continue.

Beware!! Don’t buy yearly subscription
Upon purchasing this app I was very excited and looking forward to using this program hoping that it would help me with my weight loss journey. When checking out you have to give your card info first then they are going to offer an upgrade for a year subscription which you can deny or accept, then they will offer you some extra products supplements etc. to purchase which you can deny as well, then you get to the end and accept purchase and that’s when your hit with an extra $40 fee which I was told is a start up fee. I was NOT aware of upon purchasing. It doesn’t show you the total when checking out so I was hit with a big surprise when I was immediately sent a text of purchase through my credit card company that said my card was ran for $190. At this point I was VERY mad and felt like I was taking advantage of and scammed. So I immediately called the customer service and spoke to a lady that said sorry we don’t do refunds for yearly subscriptions. When I demanded a refund because I had literally just purchased and I told her that I was not happy because I was charged more than what I thought it would be she then said again sorry no refunds and then I wasn’t taken no for an answer so she put me on hold and then said her manager was not available but she asked for my name and number and said they would be calling me back and it’s now been 2 weeks and I still have not received a call back. Which honestly I think I was lied to about that as well I think the lady I was speaking to on the phone just didn’t want to deal with me anymore. That’s fine they might have got me this go round but I will never purchase from them again and I will make sure anyone i knows doesn’t either. I’m not knocking the program it may work and that’s great that was the whole point of me purchasing but to be charged a “fee” that your not even aware of that’s where I have the problem and then to be told I can’t get a refund because I purchased a year subscription is bs to because I read everything and it doesn’t state that till after the purchase! Very disappointed

I needed to change the start date for My Plan. I used the Shift App's Customer Service feature and contacted Abram, a member of the Customer Service Team. Abram quickly resolved my issue and let me know when the date change would take effect. The support provided and the response time is excellent.

In less than 30 days I’ve lost 4 inches around my belly my back fat is 90% gone and I’m feeling pretty good about it! These exercises work GREAT and it might be hard at first but do what you can do each time and KEEP PUSHING yourself! I couldn’t squat and jump up very good in the beginning but now it’s no problem at all it feels wonderful! KEEP PUSHING YOURSELF CUZ THIS WORKS! Thank you Shift 😁

Doing Shift was the best thing I’ve ever done! I wish I would have found this amazing meal and exercise plan long ago! I started 8/12/21 and I have lost 15 pounds in 10 weeks of full commitment to the meal plans and doing exercise maybe half the time. I used to do extremely low carb, work out 4-5 days per week and stick to 1200 calories per day…eating pretty much the same thing daily and didn’t see the results I’ve seen with shift. It’s not a scam, it works!! I love the meals and snacks. They are so easy to prepare, especially for a busy working mom. If you commit and are patient you WILL be pleasantly surprised. I have always had trouble losing weight and I am also hypothyroid, but Shift changed all that. I have 10 more pounds to lose and feel confident Shift will get me there!!

Does not offer meals plans for dietary restrictions
The customer service was great but i am very dissatisfied with the app. They don't have vegan options but that isn't stated before you join. So after all the marketing for you to take advantage of "deals" after you're in you are stuck for a few months with no meal plans. You should be able to get refunded when you just purchased a few hours ago & the site isn't fully loaded to handle all dietary restrictions. I hope my review helps other people from wasting their money.

Scam from the start…. They bait you with a promise of a thirty day money back guarantee and then you find out it doesn’t apply for the one year subscription!!! I tried to cancel literally within 2 hours of purchase and they would not cancel it. I was told I would receive a credit for products I never received…yeah .. that never happened!!! DO NOT fall for this crap like I did!!!!
