If you are going to take the GMAT but don't know how to begin studying, take this course! If you think you have the GMAT down pat, still take this course(you would be surprised about how much information the general public does not know about the exam!). This GMAT course goes through all the fundamentals needed to understand the content of the exam. My instructor was Nafeez, who was amazing at building up the confidence of the students he teaches. Nafeez was very engaging and made it clear that Sherpa would be there for all his students post-course.You not only get a great in-person class experience, but also receive unlimited office hours, chats about how to continue your studies effectively post-course, a network of people who want to see you succeed, and much more. Prior to the course, I was battling major standardized test anxiety. Due to Nafeez's demeanor and the structure of the course, I have been able to reduce the apprehension I have had about the exam. This course is worth so much more than the sticker price they are charging. Do yourself a favor and sign up!

Such a friendly and supportive environment to prep for the GMAT, which can be a real uphill struggled. Nafeez has taught me so many great tips for the exam, but more so on time management and hard work. He's extremely invested in his students and you can really tell that he wants us to get into Grad school. I highly recommend Sherpa Prep and it's amazing crew to anyone thinking of GMAT/GRE/Admissions Counseling!

Sherpa Prep has been incredibly helpful in preparing me for the GMAT. They provide a great combo of at-home work and in-class preparation. I know they will be accessible for long-after the course ends, and provide additional resources and material.

Sherpa Prep is the best GMAT prep course out there. I had fished around for over a year (Magoosh, Economist, Kaplan, etc) before I found Sherpa, and wow did I wish I had found them sooner! The teachers genuinely care about you as a student, and even more importantly as an individual. It is the most personalized study prep program I have ever been apart of. I genuinely believe I will keep up with my teacher (Nafeez) for many years to come. I can not speak higher of Sherpa Prep, and I would highly recommend to anyone who is either starting out their GMAT/GRE studying or someone who has been at it for a while.

The tutors at Sherpa Prep go above and beyond expectation to ensure you are supported through every step of the process on your way to business school. It is not your average prep course where you learn material, write the exam and be on your way. The tutors are always willing to help in anyway they can, reassuring you that this process can and would be fruitful in the long run. They are just the type of persons you need on your side when taking on a beast such as the GMAT.

From the very first day, my instructors-Erin,Nafeez, and Nasheed clearly told me what it would take to do well on this test. No sugarcoating,no bulls**ting! I learned so much from these guys throughout the course.Furthermore, they were always there whenever I needed help or direction. They kept things interesting and fun! If I could give them 10 stars, I would do so in a heartbeat. The material they teach, the professionalism they exhibit, and the support they provide an ongoing basis is phenomenal.
The cost, honestly, is very little compared to the value they provide.

I learned a lot sitting through Nafeez's course. He is able to break down high difficulty problems and concepts in ways that anyone can understand. He was also always available after class or through email whenever I had questions on problems I didn't understand. Verbal was an area I weak at compared to Quant and sitting through his course gave me the confidence I needed to tackle any verbal question. The folks at Sherpa Prep provide you with all the tools you need to be successful on the GMAT exam. Don't hesitate to sign up!

I highly recommend Sherpa Prep! I signed up for classes as I was taking the GRE. My first practice test, I was overwhelmed and got a score I was not happy with. Thanks to Sherpa Prep, I scored in the range I was hoping to when I took the GRE. The textbooks, vocabulary lists, and other sources provided through Sherpa Prep helped me out tremendously. The extra help from one on one tutoring and the review sessions were so great, I felt that I could receive help that was tailored towards me. The way these classes are taught was what I found most helpful. My instructor, Tae, taught me to approach problems in a way that I would never have done on my own and this made a huge difference. I've also had grad school admissions counseling with Tae and it's been SO helpful in how I approach my applications. He goes above and beyond when giving recommendations and edits. Thanks Tae and everyone at Sherpa Prep! I highly recommend these courses to anyone who is thinking about taking a course to prepare for a test!

I took courses with both Nafeez and Erin. They really care about their students and genuinely care about their success. Without their tips and tricks, I don't think I would've have hit the score that I did.

I've really liked Sherpa because they treat you as an individual. It makes a big difference to know someone is on the journey with you, instead of just being another student in the classroom. The resources are also extremely well organized and robust (they even have their own app that has a ton of practice questions with video solutions).

Sherpa prep is honest, hilarious, and down to earth. They are damn good instructors who don’t sugar coat anything and know the magic formulas for helping you get into your target schools

sherpa prep is amazing— especially for gmat prep. the materials are great and easy to understand, and the class size is perfect for learning. Nafeez made difficult concepts easy to understand, and he goes the extra mile for each student. i’m so glad I chose sherpa for my gmat preparation, and I highly recommend others to as well.

SherpaPrep was a fantastic course that helped me grasp the concepts the GMAT presented. The instructors where always open and willing to help during and after the course. The class size where the perfect size and the study materials provides you with the confidence to get the score you desire. The Sherpa Prep course is perfect for those students that are serious about mastering ALL of the topics that will be on the GMAT. The class covers everything from tips and efficiencies to use on the test, to test day strategies that will help you perform at your best. The packets and class go hand in hand as the class hammers home the key topics within each detailed packet. Nafeez does a great job of learning where each student needs to improve and helps guide them through those areas. Between both the quality course content and Nafeez's availability and desire to help each student succeed, this is the course to take for any student looking to excel on the GMAT.

I can confidently say that I would not have gotten into my first-choice MBA program without Sherpa. As someone who spent a lot of time shopping around for GMAT tutors / studied solo (and got horrible GMAT scores) for way too long, I realize that Sherpa was the turning point in my whole application process. My score went up over 100 points after taking their GMAT prep class -- I also took advantage of group tutoring and the free class retake options, which really helped. I also went to Sherpa when I was stuck writing my admissions essays, and later (once admitted) to ask for advice on how to approach the financial aid / scholarship application process. They provided the moral support and community I needed to take on such a massive, overwhelming process. I really can't recommend them enough!

When you work with Sherpa, you don't just learn how to solve GRE problems - you learn how to think like the GRE test makers. I would challenge anyone to find a quant question that Erin doesn't have a strategy for. He makes even the hardest quant problems seem like middle school math - because they usually are once you've cut through the tricky wording!

Thanks to Erin, I was able to secure a 165 quant and 166 verbal on my first attempt! That was well above the mean for every single school that I'm applying to, and I can't recommend Sherpa enough!
