Whilst the template measurement and worktop fitting service was excellent we are extremely disappointed with the quality of the Apollo Slab Tech worktop breakfast bar which was fitted.
Due to the width we wanted, they had to join 2 pieces together and while you cannot feel the join, it is very obvious when you look at the work top as the colours are completely different.
We raised the issue with Howdens who spoke to the company and apparently both pieces are from the same batch and the 'visible line' is down to the marbling in the pattern and there is nothing that can be done.
Given that we paid nearly £4K for our worktops I was expecting a much better finish.
For info we had the Apollo White Carrara design.

The first lads who came to fit rushed the job and didn’t seem to stick anything down properly. The back splash fell off the wall and destroyed the cooker and surrounding work tops . We then had to buy another cooker ourselves which they should have done before getting a refund of the cooker . They had to come back a week later having not shown up once and refit the whole kitchen work tops again . No compensation was given at all not even a phone call .

Lads were very friendly but professional and efficient at their trade no time wasted and very infomative about all aspects work being carrid out. Out standing team good work practices to a high standard. No mess with no stress.

The two fitters who came to fit our quartz kitchen worktops were polite, early to their timing and very quick and efficient. They cleared up after themselves and did a great job, both with the fitting and explaining the product.

Excellent team - communicative, helpful and willing to do anything they could to help and quick to find solutions when needed. would def recommend.

I received a text the night before from the team. They arrived bang on time, explained the process they were doing, were very polite and pleasant to deal with. Explained fully the do's and don'ts of the worktops The product looks fantastic, you can't see any joins.
The team were well presented and extremely polite. I would highly recommend these lads.

Although the team arrived early, i was kept informed.
the installation was done quickly with a minimum of fuss and the team left everything clean after doing a brilliant job. Very pleased.

Our worktop and upstands are beautifully crafted, the colourway works really well with our kitchen and adds a subtle glamour. Gary and his team of fitters were excellent, professional, respectful, and worked efficiently and cleanly. Gary took the time to go through aftercare and pointers for our kitchen fitters. Overall a highly professional service I have no hesitation in recommending
