IN NOVEMBER 2025 I INVESTED SOME MONEY WITH SHEPHERDS FRIENDLY. I WAS INFORMED IN APRIL 2026 I HAD MADE 3.75% INTEREST ON MY INVESTMENT. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I EXPECTED A BETTER DIVIDEND THAN 3.75% FROM A FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
I DECIDED TO REMOVE MY MONEY AND REINVEST ELSEWHERE.
I THEN TRIED TO WITHDRAW MY MONEY FROM SHEPHERDS FRIENDLY AND FOUND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THIS ONLINE.
I CONTACTED THEM VIA EMAIL AND FOUND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THEM TO RELEASE MY MONEY.
WHY DOES THIS COMPANY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO GET IT BACK.
THE MONEY BELONGS TO THE CUSTOMER NOT THE INVESTMENT COMPANY.
NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANYS RETURN ON MY INVESTMENT OR THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF YOUR MONEY ONCE IT IS INVESTED.
VERY UNHAPPY EXPERIENCE WITH SHEPHERD FRIENDLY.

The agent I spoke to was extremely helpful and very professional. She covered everything I needed to know about opening an ISA.
Easy to set up and company was responsive
Offered £325 bonus through website TopCashback, and then declined the claim. One star review!

It was easy to set my account up and arrange a monthly direct debit. My first payment went in on the planned date. Great communication upon setting up my saving plan.
Very easy to progress through application and start a policy. Easy to select what is best for me and set a budget.
Really simple setup, all done electronically and everything seems really clear. Great initial offer to start with and hoping to get some great returns from my investments. I like the app and how clear all the documentation was too.

Opened ISA with SF in may 2025 via quidco cashback.
it says cashback claim can take up to 6months, but its been almost a year with no response. when contacting quidco they say retailer hasnt responded yet. easy to trick people and they they money, harded to meet their own obligations. shamefull business tactics, especially for company that you trust your money with!!

The investment plan is easy to understand and transfer funds
Simple to access, informative, effective, efficient and easy to use
I opened a junior ISA, arranged £1000 to be deposited and claimed £125 bonus. A total of £1125 appeared in the account within the day but then it all disappeared and a week later it keeps showing £0! Not impressed. Spoke to a very nice man and assured me they will investigate and get back to me in 2-3 days. Fingers crossed. At least the money has not gone from my account.
Also, it is very difficult to find the log out button on your webpage. Poor security.
UPDATE 01/0/2026 I had to call again a week later to find out what is happening with my account because no one followed up on it as promised. My initial payment did not go through but no one could tell me why and no one bothered to follow up on that to make sure I knew what was going on.
I have lost all trust and confidence in Shepherds and cancelled the account. I will not use them again.
