UPDATE: We're getting there.

Original post: Absolutely disgusted by their customer support. I complied with every requirement in anticipation of setting up a new business and yet they declined and banned me without providing a reasonable explanation and before I ever got to use the service.

UPDATE: After posting the review SendPulse has reviewed my request and activated my account. I'm still not clear as to how they determined my account would qualify as spam, but I do feel that they have mostly redeemed themselves.

Scammy behavior and zero accountability

I haven’t used this service for over a year and I have no active subscriptions. Yet suddenly they charged me $1.

When I contacted support asking for a refund, nobody even bothered to apologize. They just sent me a link to a refund request form, saying it will take at least 14 days to review. When I asked why they charged me in the first place, the answer was: “Probably some payment system error.”

That explanation makes no sense. This wasn’t a random card processor glitch — they literally created an internal invoice under the name “Facebook bot” and billed me for it. That’s not an accident, that’s shady.

It’s not about the $1. It’s about the fact that they feel entitled to quietly skim money from inactive customers with saved cards for services that don’t even exist. Most people won’t notice or won’t bother to dispute such a small charge — and that’s exactly the trick.

This is unacceptable and feels like fraud. I will never trust this service again.
