Well, what can I say, contacted this bloke about a vehicle he was selling and initially he seemed ok.
I live some distance from the dealership so asked for some more detail and if possible a video of the vehicle running with a walk round video.
He said he’d do that for me at the close of the day. He didn’t.

I asked if he’d accept a small holding deposit until I could get down to view it.
He wouldn’t .

I asked if he’d accept could provide the video and subject to their being no issues I’d pay in full and would he hold it for me until I returned from holiday.
He wouldn’t .

He became quite rude, obnoxious, unhelpful.
Told me he wouldn’t do distance sales yet on his website he posts thank yous to his buyers and their locations. Many of whom are further away than I am ???

Told me he won’t do online sales yet advertises stock online .
Told me he’s been buying and selling cars for 30 years and won’t change his ways .

I’m genuinely surprised this bloke does any business with such a terrible attitude.
It’s no wonder his overall standing on trust pilot is 2.9 stars.

To summarise, I contacted him about a vehicle I was interested in.
Asked for some more detail, a little help so I could establish of the vehicle was ok, offered a full settlement and asked I I could pick it up on return from vacation.

His response was rude and he left the chat and blocked me !!!!

I recently bought a 2003 Nissan Navara from Keith at Select Trucks, and the whole experience was genuinely excellent.

For a 23-year-old truck, the condition was seriously impressive - honestly, it was cleaner inside than some brand-new cars I’ve bought from main dealers (yes, Peugeot, I’m looking at you). It’s clear Keith takes real pride in the vehicles he sells.

Keith himself is a great guy - knowledgeable, approachable, and incredibly patient. I went in knowing absolutely nothing about pick-up trucks and was really just buying one as a bit of a toy, but he was more than happy to answer every question without making me feel out of my depth.

There’s zero pressure selling, just straightforward, honest advice. You can tell he only deals in models he trusts to be reliable, which gives you real confidence when buying - especially if, like me, you’re not exactly a truck expert.

All in all, a brilliant experience from start to finish. I’d happily recommend Select Trucks (and Keith in particular) to anyone looking for a solid, well-cared-for pick-up and a really pleasant buying process.

Super helpful, super friendly, super pleased with my truck. Keith has been very good with communicating and very knowledgeable when answering questions.
Great after sales help too.
Will be back in the future for my next truck.

We contacted Keith regarding a Ford Ranger we were interested in, and unfortunately, that one was already sold, but he had another one due in that week. He promised to contact me with pictures and video when it arrived, and he kept to that promise. Keith is very knowledgeable about all the trucks he has, and was honest throughout the process. He took a deposit to hold it for us, we viewed and took it away on the same day. It is such a lovely truck, meets all our needs

Explained everything brilliantly as its my first ever pickup with 4x4 capability. The purchase was smooth and once returning with truck there were a few small things that needed addressing. absolutely shocking service. Keith was rude, slow and communicates via whatsapp, deletes his messages and then denies everything thats been said. i wouldn't touch these guys now i've experienced them. i checked the cars reg from the walk around video and it was worrying what came back on the report with regards to 50 percent of MOTs failed due to serious issues. i saved the meesages and screen shots before he tries to deny all knowledge just like in other reviews.

We recently bought a 2005 Ford Ranger from Keith. It is in exceptional condition, as well as being good value. It is a real gem and we have been getting lots of envious glances!

Keith was fabulous from the moment we called to enquire.
Our first visit was easy, relaxed, helpful, informative, and we didn't get the usual hard sell.
We got a nice range of Jeeps to look at, lots of factual tips, but not overkill, we got a test drive, and decided to buy a super 2 door Wrangler JK. Keith even stored it for us whilst we waited for the right time to pick it up. It's in great condition, is excellent to drive, and the follow up service has been second to none.
A total outlier in the industry, and I cannt recommend highly enough!

Select trucks, made buying my beautiful big orange Ranger Wildtrak, simple, by sending a video of the vehicle, before actually going & seeing it, once seeing the video it was well worth visiting, test driving & then purchasing

Keith and his team were friendly and knowledgeable. They know jeeps very well, have a lot of experience and expertise. A pleasure to deal with when buying a jeep from them. Highly recommend.

Nothing but praise for Keith and the team from me! Recently bought a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Keith. Dealing with him has been a pleasure. He is fair, considerate, not pushy at all and has provided exemplary service before the sale and since. For example replaced key parts which had passed the MOT but he felt would improve our driving experience, and fitted a reversing camera as requested gratis. Also communicated promptly and comprehensively - delighted with his customer service, would certainly buy from him again
