I've written this company numerous…

I've written this company numerous times and never got a reply back other than an automated message saying I was outside of company hours which were 9am to 5pm, when my message was written within the time frame. In fact, ALL of my messages have been. Numerous messages later and I haven't gotten my package, can't fix the issue, and have had no response when all I want to do is upgrade my shipping so that my packages stop getting sent back to them. At this point I am paying them to keep the product I am paying for. I CAN'T CANCEL BECAUSE IT KEEPS SAYING THERE IS AN ERROR.

it's really expensive for what you get…

it's really expensive for what you get and there are tons of cheaper probiotics solutions on the market. this one just does really great brand advertising but i don't feel that much of a difference compared to other brands

NO REFUNDS

I started it and began, after a couple weeks to like it. It was pretty rough at first. After about a month I subscribed for three months at a time. Then it started to really not agreeing with me. I was told that they would not take it back even if unopened. They do not stand behind their product at all. I do not recommend

The probiotic had me doubled over in…

The probiotic had me doubled over in pain and in the bathroom constantly for days. I followed their instructions starting with one but once I increased to two I immediately had severe cramping and diarrhea which went on for several days even after stopping seed. Another shipment arrived as I was experiencing this and I returned it immediately and contacted them about my experience. They charged me $49.99 for the shipment that was returned unopened and I have yet to see a refund. I wish I had read reviews before my initial purchase because I would of saved myself a lot of pain, discomfort, time, and money.

Truly miraculous

I’ve been taking Seed as prescribed for 2 months now and have to say it really works! I’ve had stomach issues for years and had taken digestive enzymes and lactase enzymes which initially worked until they didn’t, which brought me to Seed. Now I no longer take digestive enzymes or lactase enzymes and have absolutely no stomach issues. Quite frankly, I was very surprised … happily. Not only did Seed “cure” my stomach issues but my fingernails started growing again. I had gel nails for years but then decided about 6 months ago to stop the gel and give myself manicures. Well, my nails started breaking and breaking, to the point I just gave up on polish because there wasn’t much to paint … until Seed. After about a month taking Seed, I noticed my nail started growing and did not break. I couldn’t believe it. I wish I had known about Seed long ago. I swear by Seed and highly recommend it!

Awful subscription cancelling process

I did not notice improvement. The site design deliberately makes it very difficult to pause or cancel a subscription. There is no option under the "Subscriptions" page, where anyone would expect. Instead you have to search the help and to be told you will find it in the "Settings" and then go through many clicks and a questionnaire. These practices stink and are signs of a dishonest company.

Thieves

I was with seed for several years, until their system decided to double bill me and they refused to refund me for it. I let them know less than an hour after it happened, but they don't have a phone number and their email people work certain hours. They blamed me, refused to refund me, and are sending now an illegal amount of probiotics up here to Canada. (They legally can't send more than three months at a time, but since my order was double billed, they're sending six.)

Long story short, STAY AWAY! The company doesn't care about you and will steal your money at the first available possibility. I'm still in disputes with them through my bank and the BBB.

Great customer service

Had made a mistake on my subscription, and they were great to work with me to go above and beyond to resolve it. Responded to my email in 24 hours.

Was using a really good probiotic before I switched to Seed, so I didn't really notice any difference one way or the other. Took Seed more to maintain what I already had going, as opposed to making a change.

Capsules arrived damaged

Capsules arrived damaged. I requested a refund as I had already cancelled my subscription prior to opening the package. They do not give refunds so they sent me a replacement package. Capsules in that package were also damaged. I see on instagram this has happened to others - multiple shipments of damaged product. This speaks to a serious quality control issue, and I think a refund is in order if the product is damaged and the subscription cancelled.

Best probiotic I’ve tried

I just started taking the DS-01 probiotic and it has completely changed my life. I have IBSD and could only go 1-2 days without having diarrhea. It was hard to leave the house and go out to eat because eating would cause me to have to use the bathroom urgently. I took a prebiotic/probiotic gummy, tried another probiotic, took fiber, ate healthier, absolutely nothing worked. I found Seed and decided to try it and it’s been so nice not having to run to the bathroom because I’m having an episode every day. I’m only on my first month but I haven’t had a single episode since I started taking it. I was honestly surprised it worked unlike anything else. I have healthy/normal bowel movements now (I go up to 3 times a day, sometimes more). Price wise, it’s pricey and I’m not sure how long I will stay on it but I personally feel it’s worth it if you can afford it and if it’s right for you. I’ve read the negative reviews on here about the company and it does make me a little nervous continuing with this company but the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion

Predatory subscription practice + horrific customer service

I was initially a big fan of this product—until I needed to pause my subscription for medical reasons. After attempting to pause the subscription, I was still charged the next month. When I reached out to customer service, they claimed I had never paused the subscription. I was annoyed but chalked it up to a potential error on my part and took the time to confirm my subscription was paused moving forward.

Then, on January 1st, I received a notification that I had been charged again. I immediately reached out to customer service, had to follow up to get any response at all, and was eventually told that I had only paused the subscription until the end of the year.

When I questioned this, I was told that a refill notification email was sent to me and read on December 29th. I definitely hadn’t seen anything, so I searched my inbox—and found, buried in my promotions tab, an email labeled with the vague subject line “Another lunar rotation complete.” I opened this email and saw that there wasn’t even a refill notification above the fold—it was buried at the very bottom of the email!

As someone who manages multiple subscriptions, I would never have guessed this was a refill notice—it looked like a standard promotional email everyone gets swamped with. This lack of clarity feels intentional, designed to bypass customers’ attention and trigger unwanted charges. I responded to the customer service agent pointing out how vague it was and just didn’t hear back.

Frankly, this approach feels predatory, and it has completely eroded my trust in this brand. Clear and transparent communication is critical, especially for a company asking customers to commit to expensive recurring payments. After these repeated frustrations and poor communication, I’ve canceled my subscription entirely.

Until they address these issues and improve both their communication and subscription practices, I strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible! I had a subscription and multiple times my order arrived weeks after it should have which left me without it and it interrupted my cycle. Not to mention it is expensive! Their customer service sucks, they took a week to get back to me. You can only contact them thru email which that right there is shady. Do NOT buy this product, I am warning you. Awful company!!!

I could not tolerate their probiotic. I emailed them (3 times now) requesting that they cancel my subscription. They apparently will not.

All I did was read their online ad

All I did was read their online ad. I did not agree to receiving media from them. Daily emails urging me to buy started coming in. I always unsubscribed but they wouldn't stop. Finally I just blocked them. Wonder why they're so desperate? I was never interested in buying the product. Just based on the ad it looked suspicious.

Know and review before you by a TV advertised product!

The product like a lot of companies that advertise on TV these days are basically don’t work. Trust Pilot is the only way I know to verify before you buy! I saw that Seed had no way to contact them other than by email, first indication why I didn’t trust them. Desperate for what it claims to do; I decided to buy it through Amazon as a one time buy. I avoided the trouble people had in canceling there purchases from this company. I used Chat GPT and unfortunately that program debunked other companies like Seed but said Seed does what it claims to do. Unfortunately Seed didn’t work for me and I bet it doesn’t work for all those that canceled their subscription with Seed. Buyer beware. If you aren’t sure about any product from a company; charge it on Amex. They will help you to cancel without out problems!

Imported Reviews from Yopto

I get that people are going far to market and advertise their products these days. I made my way to TrustPilot because there are NO OTHER WAYS to leave reviews. This company pays for reviews on a program called Yopto, imports them to Google, and locks normal users out of the ability to leave a review. The paid, imported reviews look great. This is the only source I've found where real, actual humans leave unincentivized reviews. The 1.9 reflects the true quality of the company.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Deceptive tactics and downright shady maneuvers. Reminder emails are intentionally misleading so you don’t even realize they are a reminder email about an upcoming shipment. The subject line was “Another lunar rotation complete” and the info about next shipment wasn’t until the last third of the email. I cancelled as fast as I could after getting charged. Refund refused by Seed.

There is no way to speak to anyone regarding unauthorized charges. "Nia" actually sent me an email stating that they don’t speak to customers! Wtf!
If they don’t even have the decency to speak to you, how can you trust what they are putting in those capsules?!
