Take it from a senior security engineer and certified malware reverse engineer - this is the anti-malware solution you want.

I am a senior security engineer with many years' experience in the field, and a certified malware reverse engineer, and I use SecureAPlus exclusively for all my family's Windows systems. It's essentially VirusTotal in an app, with a great whitelisting feature that allows you to decide what gets to run, what gets to act as an installer, and what gets to perform system modifications.

You just install it, let it run a scan, clean anything it finds (hopefully nothing), and then anything new you run will cause a prompt that asks you if you meant to run it, and optionally will run a scan using every engine on VirusTotal (something like 54 anti-virus/anti-malware engines).

It might sound like a hassle, but it's actually really easy once you give it a try, and my kids use it with ease. It notifies me if anyone in my family gets an infection, too (although the infection is already gone by the time I check).

Pretty Good Effort to WhiteListing Against Malware

Pretty good effort into the 'WhiteListing' approach to protecting a system from malware. The price is very good. The interface is getting there. The website (customer portal) just got reworked and is now worse. Definitely a 'work-in-progress'. The support is very good in the few times that I needed to use it. Quick and accurate.

The new face of anti-malware.

SecureAPlus is a very solid anti-malware solution that, in my opinion and experience, exceeds that of traditional anti-malware software without the bloat. The program has all the essential features of AVs and runs quite seamlessly in Windows with minimal resource impact. In terms of capabilities, the ability to manage which trusted files to run and blocking the rest that don't pass the smell-test does give us tech-savvy users more control over the level of security in our digital space. The cloud and 'AI' approach is also remarkably effective at catching threats and it has already saved me a couple of times before. All in all, SecureAPlus is shaping up nicely and might even be a step ahead of similar products. I highly recommend it.

Best AntiVirus I've Used!

Smooth, seamless experience with SecureAPlus. Not invasive and runs perfectly well. Been using it for close to 6-months now and have to say that I'm impressed by the product! Will keep using it, especially since they have the Free forever package.

SecureAPlus is good software, but he has strange bugs

SecureAPlus is good software, but last time when i tried to uninstall him, he still was in the system and his processes was still active, he ruined my system by BSOD, disabling Harddrives, Access to files and more, restore point system works, but after that, my system was smashed by BSOD and computer declined to run. Nothing helps.

Good program with a broad range of options.
I best like the fact that multiple engines are used to check for viruses. In that way it is very easy to rule out false positives.
Formerly I always needed to run extra Virustotal scans on detected issues to determine for sure if it was indeed a false positive, very time consuming...
The only drawback is that sometimes the scans are a bit heavy on my memory. My laptop then gets a bit laggy for a short time. Getting a cup of coffee mostly resolves this issue. :-)

It's been good for me, very happy.

I've had SecureA for a while now. I started on a free trial and found that it worked well so have now paid for a license. No regrets, it does its job quickly and unobtrusively. Every now and then I get a false positive, but it's generally been much better than others I have tried and has been good to me.

I had gotten SecureAPlus a couple years…

I had gotten SecureAPlus a couple years ago but at the time thought it needed more work. Well I got an email a couple weeks ago saying they had now released a free version for everyone that included whitelisting which is hard to find in many free products. It also supports multiple engines. So far in the last couple of weeks I have found it to be very much improved and a great free product. If it finds something it doesn't recognize it gives you options to scan and upload the hash of the file for more information and once you are satisfied you can whitelist it for easy future access.
