After Three years of trying
After Three years of trying, without success, to transfer a Fund I have spoken to many young people on the phone at ii. It has been incredibly frustrating at times, because there was very little continuity. No one would stick with it. However, Archie Beatson has given me renewed faith in II. He has stuck with my case over the past 24 hours and, fingers crossed, I believe we have success, thanks to him. He is a credit to both himself and Ii and I am most grateful for his help. I hope he gets the credit he deserves for sticking with something that was obviously complex and required joining a number of dots over several departments. Thank you, Archie, it is most appreciated.
First telephone trade due to system problem
Due to a system problem preventing online trading of some government bonds, I had to call ii to execute my first telephone order. Taylor was very helpful at explaining the current issue, and then executed the order for me as requested. A slightly slow process via their back office but she was very efficient and clear.

Joint Accounts
I had a question on establishing Joint Accounts. I would like to record that Mr Luke Miles, who I dealt with on the issue, provided me with some of the best and fastest responses I’ve received on any secure messaging site. Some of the issues were complicated and involved the rather morbid aspect of death. Mr Miles was enormously understanding and sympathetic and explained both the issues and resolutions in very simple and clear language. I’m grateful for his assistance. My husband and I can now go ahead on some decisions based on his clarifications. He’s a credit to the company.

A bit jaded from dealing with utility companies I
expecting a long wait for the telephone to be answered was pleasantly surprised to get connected quickly to a real human, The issues I was having with some old transferred accounts from other providers I assume were not the usual run of the mill but the operator sami was polite and suitably able to progress matters. Thus far so good.
