Nice Product -poor company support no ethical vibes be aware
We bought a very beautiful and expensive sofa from Seats&Sofas and to be honest, we really love the product itself. The seller was kind and helpful at the beginning, but unfortunately, the after-sales support was completely nonexistent.
We waited patiently from September 2024 until April 2025 without complaining, understanding there might be delays. However , during this time, we noticed the same sofa being advertised at different prices. When we asked, they explained that the photos don't always reflect what is actually being sold something we found misleading. For example, what was described as a "corner sofa," they told us it only includes two seats, and everything else is considered an "optional add-on." That was never clearly stated in the product description.
The biggest issue was with the delivery. The delivery company they cooperate with handled everything carelessly and in our opinion tried to profit unethically. From the beginning, we explained clearly that our home setup required a truck with a lift due to narrow stairs, and we asked for that to be arranged. They insisted it wasn’t necessary and reassured us everything would be fine obviously to avoid booking it in advance and charging us properly. In the end, they caused some minor damage to the walls while trying to push the sofa inside, and only *after* the failed attempt did they bring a lift. Of course, we were the ones who ended up paying extra for it, last minute.
The only positive part of the whole delivery was the lift truck driver a very kind and professional person.
When we finally received the sofa, it turned out to be slightly smaller than expected, and one cable was damaged (exposed wires although it still worked). We contacted the company, and instead of replying, someone showed up at our door unexpectedly to take measurements. By pure luck, one of us was home. They confirmed the size difference, but claimed this "can happen according to terms and conditions" although we thoroughly checked them and found no such clause. They also promised to fix the damaged cable… but they never contacted us again.
To sum up: The product is beautiful, but there’s no real support behind it. We paid a lot, accepted compromises, and received almost no help when something went wrong. I personally avoided conflict because I value peace of mind but I do believe people should be aware that even if you pay top price, you shouldn’t expect warranty or support. I also spoke to a friend who had a similar bad experience — nice product, poor company.
I’m just wondering… with so many good-reviews, are they all really genuine? 🤔

Seamless Purchase and Great Value!
I recently purchased a new u-bank couch and couldn't be happier with the experience so far! The buying process was incredibly smooth—from visiting the store to checkout, everything was user-friendly and straightforward. I appreciated the help at the outlet, which made it easy to feel confident in my choice.
The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and style the sofa promises. It feels like a great value for the money, which is always a bonus when making a big furniture purchase.

WORST!!!!
WORST!!!!! They sell used/second-hand sofas as “brand new”. When my sofa arrived, I noted dirty marks on the sofa and around the edges. After enquiry, the salesman in Mijdrecht told me the sofa was on display for about a month, yet Zaandam sold it to me as “new”. I raised this with service department, Zaandam and Mijdrecht, but I am not receiving ANY support or explanations to this matter from anyone - after ONE month!!! I don’t recommend this place at all!!!

1. they don't communitcate when you can expect your couch, between 8 and 14 weeks. But when you ask at the 8. week, they can't provide an estimation, if it's next week or 6 weeks later.
2. They sent damaged couch. After the claim, they just offered 50 EUR (of the original price of 1698). Which I did not accept, because not fair.
to return and wait another 8 - 14 weeks is also not fair
I wanted 10 % refund, but they insisted.

1. Delivered a broken couch
I purchased a sofa from this company on April 11th, 2025.
I was AGGRESSIVELY pushed to make a quick decision. This made me feel extremely pressured.
I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with the purchase, also. I spent €1,550 on a couch that arrived in unacceptable condition and is completely UNUSABLE.
The couch is broken and makes loud squeaking noises whenever used. Even when touching it.
It arrived dirty, and the legs cannot be properly attached because the base is uneven and poorly constructed.
3 Pillows are missing!
Despite these serious defects, my request to return the item was refused.
To make matters worse, I am now unable to reach your customer service. I suspect my phone number has been blocked, as I used to get through in 2–3 minutes, and now no one answers, even after waiting over 15 minutes.
This level of service is unacceptable, and I am extremely disappointed by the lack of support and responsibility shown. I am still willing to resolve this issue in a mutually fair way, but they are not serious and are not responding.
2. Promise of repair after 1 months will a lot of calls and visit in the store
They said they will repair the broken couch on the 9th of July and ask me to pay for the transport.
They send me a confirmation that the moneys arrived in their bank account and that was it! No contact anymore.
It's unbelievable how this SCAM BUSINESS works!!!

Mark (The manager of the branch that helped me in my purchase) went above and beyond to help me with my choice. I specified what's important to me and we walked around the whole shop looking for the right fit. In the end we found a couch that met my needs in size and configuration.
I am very impressed with the customisation options that Seats and Sofas offers. I was looking online first for something before visiting the shop. And I have to say, not even the internet has a variety they have in the shop. Besides, who wants to buy a sofa without sitting on it first?
Despite the customisation options and the great service, the prices are also more than competitive. I settled on the sofa I chose before knowing the final price, and to my surprise, it was also cheaper than the online counterpart. Mark even made a deal with me that lowered the price even more.
I appreciated the nice chat, the attention to my needs, the customisation options are amazing and the decorations in shop are also quite impressive.
I have already recommended Seats and Sofas to my friends and will continue to do so.

DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS.
On January 2nd, we purchased a sofa for €1757 from the store in The Hague. During the assembly process at home, we noticed that the bottom of the sofa was broken. The next day, we went back to the store and reported the issue. They reluctantly agreed to pick it up from our home and send it for repair, but only after charging us €75.
They picked up the sofa a month later and sent it for repair. By June 18th, we still hadn’t received any updates, so we went back to the store. The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful to my wife—yelling at her to wait outside and not to stay inside the store. When we refused to leave, they called the police.
We explained the situation to the police, stating that we had been without a sofa for 7 months. The police acknowledged that we were in the right. We then told the store we wanted a full refund, which they agreed to. They said the refund would be processed within 12 business days, but we still have not received our money.
This Monday, we will be taking legal action and filing a lawsuit against the Den Haag branch of this terrible company. They blatantly ignore the law and even the police. We have video evidence and an official police report from that day.
DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS.

I visited Seats&Sofas Zandaam to find my new sofa, and I was pleasantly surprised by how Kevin helped us choose the right one for our place. Knowing it might be a big step and investment, Kevin took us through the different models, showing all feature, different fabrics and possible customizations. At the end, I bought one couch from the available stock and have it in my place in just a few days. Highly recommend visiting the store and getting one of their sofas.

Poor experience
The sales team is super aggressive, I went there twice and they try to close the deal the moment you enter. The website discounts are also misleading. When you see a discount on their website it says something but when you actually visit the store they say it’s without the features and includes only th basic model.

Sales person lied about delivery time…
Sales person lied about delivery time (6-8 weeks turned into half a year). They "resolved" this by providing the same sofa from their Heerlen store. This will cost us 120 Euros to ship (per their recommend delivery service) and they refuse to give us a refund or any other type of compensation. So we're opting to wait 6 months until it's delivered to Eindhoven. I'm guessing some other issue will pop up in the next 6 months, so leaving some stars to drop.
Update: we're now two weeks past the 6 month expected date. So dropping the remaining stars. If they won't give us a refund at this point they're essentially crooks. Do yourself a favor and don't shop here.

No after sales service
I collected 4 items of furniture last year from the Amersfoort store. One of the sofas metal leg had the tiny plastic covering for protecting the floor missing.
Unbelievably, i have made numerous telephone calls, filled in 2 complaint forms, written E mails...no response. My latest E mail months ago just asked them to put the tiny plastic cover in an envelope and post to my home. This missing part is about 2cm and probably costs 50 cents, yet i have now spent many many hours trying to resolve this. What a shame, because the sofas are super but the service is bad. I wont recommend Seats and Sofas in the future.

Bad customer service and servicing
Good experience in the store making the purchase however our couch came with some pretty clear flaws. It's creaking very badly and the overall build quality is quite poor to be honest.
After contacting the service department to get the stuff fixed they basically just told us to either wait it out and hope the creaking goes away or take the sofa in for servicing ourselves on an exact date a month later.
That is unacceptable. You cannot deliver a broken product and then ask the customer to bring it back in on a given date and then retrieve it once again themselves (which costs money for renting a van)
