After further communication, I have been informed that I must pay approximately €485 as a penalty following the cancellation of my order.
This outcome is extremely disappointing, as during the sales process I was clearly told by the salesperson that I could take time to check the measurements at home and cancel the order if the sofa did not fit. I made my decision based on this information.
However, I am now being told that only the written contract is valid, and that the information provided by the salesperson is not taken into account. This creates a situation where the customer is held responsible despite relying on incorrect or misleading information during the sale.
No goods have been delivered and no work has been carried out (delivery time: 20–24 weeks), yet I am still being charged this amount.
I consider this to be a very poor and unfair customer experience, and I am sharing this review so others are aware of how such situations are handled

Dank voor uw toelichting. We vinden het oprecht vervelend dat dit voor u als een teleurstellende ervaring voelt. Bij het plaatsen van de order zijn de voorwaarden, waaronder het annuleringsbeleid, duidelijk met u besproken en door u akkoord bevonden in de overeenkomst. Omdat het om een maatwerkorder met levertijd gaat, hebben wij helaas geen retourbeleid of bedenktijd.
We begrijpen dat dit niet de uitkomst is die u had gehoopt. Daarom hebben we ook alternatieve oplossingen aangeboden om u tegemoet te komen, maar daar is geen gebruik van gemaakt. We hopen dat u onze toelichting begrijpt en wensen u ondanks alles het beste.
