WE PAID OVER 100 EUROS AND WERE STILL CHARGED WIFI THAT ONLY LASTED FOR 3 HOURS. DO BETTER SEAJETS.

It was an extremely windy day in Sifnos and was advised that our Seajets 2 ferry will be proceeding despite the strong winds and high waves. We were leaving Sifnos and heading to Athens for a 2.5 hr ride. So on the ferry we went. The ferry took off before everyone was seated. the ride was horrible and people who did not get to their seats were falling and holding on to the railings for dear life. Some were on the floor puking. Everyone was terrified . Bottles were falling off the shelves in the cafe. It was a disaster. I fell on the floor and scraped my leg badly. It was the absolute worst ride in my life. I am not sure how they get away with. If everyone was seated before the ferry took off then all injuries would have been prevented.

Adding my review after seeing all the others, getting scared it would be awful, then booking the Champion Jet. We had a completely fine experience going from Athens to Milos and back. The swaying was a 3/10, no one was sick, everything was on time and efficient. The port is easy to find, air con was good, there is food on board. I would say that we saw the speedrunners and they looked fine, smaller boats, but hundreds of people were getting on them and in the good weather they looked ok. Glad I got the champion jet though, good luck!

Seajets advertise with the fastest ferry, but are the most unpunctual! Return journey from Syros to Piraeus 4 hours late...
Getting tickets spontaneously would also be cheaper than two months in advance. Very poor customer service and no goodwill.

Hundred of people waiting and standing on the dock and we were allowed to go onboard just 15 minutes before scheduled departing time. They boarded cars before standing people. Obviously we departed late. Not polite. The boat was at the the dock the evening before, so no excuse.

By far the worst shipping company in Greece. Rude and without knowing what they are selling.
I asked a dog cabin and they asked me to book a 4 persons cabin although we are a couple because the dog is over 25 kilos!
I talked with the lady in charge who has hurrying to hang up the phone and she said that I didn't understand well.

We traveled twice with sea jets. From Paros to Heraclion. The boat was new, clean and on time. Great experience. The second time from kissamos to gytheion. The boat was much older but clean. The booking experience was a nightmare. I booked for our camper van a ticket for a car over 4.25 meters long. That was the only suitable option. Two day before I received a message that another boat would do the trip. I rang them up to make sure that my camper still fitted in. On the phone they told me that is not a problem but I should change the car category on one of their travel agents in heraclion. To keep the story short, they kept me waiting until Last Minute to make that change and had to pay 59€ on top. My car is 5.30 long and the ferry was half empty when we left. In the whole booking I experienced unprofessional ity, indifference, arrogance. They just not care.This MUST change.

Never, ever book with this company. We had 2 tickets to travel from Piraeus to Santorini and the boat was due to leave at 9am. When we got there we were told that our boat was cancelled and we should have got on the 7am boat - and it was our problem because they texted us the change of schedule. When I looked for the text I saw it was sent at 23.30 the night before when we were asleep AND it was in Greek with English tagged at the end AND there was no marking it as an URGENT message. In any case, we weren't awake to receive it.....when I suggested this was unreasonably late notice they literally shrugged. They couldn't care less.

There were many of us caught out.

I asked for the options - they said there was another the following day at 7am - take it or leave it. I was in a tight spot and agreed to it. (Stupidly). Later I looked at flight options and we decided not let this ruin our holiday and fly that day....when we asked for our money back - they responded, you've guessed it: No. The reason was I had booked a replacement ticket (even though they didn't say I could get a refund if I didn't rebook).

You know we had a lovely holiday and the Greek people are warm and friendly.

Sea Jets nearly ruined our holiday, we lost money, had an appalling experience, were treated as scum and received no empathy for the predicament they placed us in - whatsoever. They should be ashamed of themselves but I doubt it.

Nasty business with small-minded nasty staff.

Never use them

Champions Jet is a wonderful experience. Super Jet was the exact opposite. Multiple people vomited around me from sea sickness. It was honestly quite horrific.

Only giving one star because 0 stars isn’t an option. The worst experience of my life. I will never be stepping foot on a ferry again. Ruined my experience. Will have to go to counselling for the trauma. If jumping off the boat was an option I would have done it.

If you don’t get sea sick… not to worry…. just jump on a sea jet and after about 20ish minutes of watching and smelling everyone around you projectile vomit in every crevice of the boat, you too can experience projectile vomiting of your own. As you embark , the staff is already holding baggies and and are well prepared to give you and your family a new traumatic core memory …. I’m not exaggerating …. and there are waste bins everywhere to hold gallons of vomit. I have no idea how this isn’t a safety or public health violation. It’s horrific. Take the big ferry ⛴️ or fly!!! Not worth it!!!! It was like a horror movie!

My luggage was stolen off of SeaJets ferrying from Milos to Athens June 2023. They have not reimbursed me anything as of this date. They have ghosted me as of June 27th, hearing no reply to my multiple emails and long distant phone calls.
The company sent us on a run around while in Greece, making us have to rebook part of our trip and missing Meteora.
The port police have a binder thick as can be filled with incident reports of stolen luggage.
I just want to be reimbursed for what was stolen from me. It is possible it was an inside job.
Don't use Seajets ever!!

This company is absolutely hopeless.

We booked 3 ferries with Sea Jets. 2 were cancelled and the other was delayed over 30 minutes.

They tried their best to ruin our holiday.

Will never book with them again

60 euro for one hour and 20 mins. First of all its overpriced. Second of all they stuck all of us in the garage and the ship took off. It was horrible. 500 people stuck next to each other at 35 degrees+ along with the cars which created a hard to breathe atmosphere. then they boarded us on the move from two stairs that can only accommodate one person at a time as they are very narrow. So you have to wait at the garage with all the fumes for 20 minutes plus. This is not service for the money paid. I would value this at 20 euro maximum. I am happy I did not bring my baby together.

Same scenario they stuck us all in the garage and took off. 20 minutes suffocating and then 20 minutes of normal travel as the trip is around 40 minutes. All this excitement for only 50 euros.

Just use the big ships to travel. don't take seajet. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Awful, ferry was late and when it arrived it was old and overcrowded. The crew only opened one exit to disembark which meant it took 20 minutes to get off the ferry. Now our next trip and been delayed by 6 hours. Terrible company.

Overcrowded decrepid ferries. No air conditioning and don't bother booking a seat. Terrible 4 hour journey.

We paid £580 to go on a tour to Santorini - it was terrible. The Sea Jet ferry was ok, but the whole Santorine expwerience was rubbish. It was really rushed and you did not have anytime to explore the two main cities there. The guides were useless and spent hours telling us about how the island got its name. By the way Santorini is well over ratted and we did not enjoy the island or the tour at all - a total waste of money in my view. If you are thinking of using this company my advice would be "dont bother"!

This is a kind review expressing every passenger’s opinion on the 25/8 trip from Volos to Skiathos.
Ferry was only 5 minutes late to depart and this happened because they crew were trying to fit an extra or last big truck. It was common sense that there was no place for it according to marine surveyor because they had to measure everything up the last centimetre.
After their long lasting effort they managed to fit it, I am pretty much sure covering safety disembarkation exits passages. Vessel arrived 20 minutes late at the first destination (imagine how this will escalate on the plan following. After the docking procedure was finished they locked us in the vessel because we could not walk out from the squeezed ferries. Crew strew told us to wait for our safety, crew officer after being questioned said that port authorities didn’t let passengers disembark for safety reasons.
I am as the first to exit the vessel 30 minutes past the advertised schedule. 30 minutes on 2 hours trip is 25% this amount goes to less fuel consumed, they should at least decrease ticket price by 25% or speed up to deliver what they promise.
I advise everyone to book another company or a tender/sailing yacht for their transportation.

PLEASE READ: the times provided in the marketing brochure are complexity in accurate with the journey time from Rethymno to Santorini taking 3h45m each way. If you decide to take a day trip you will spend more time on the ferry than on Santorini. The captain provides zero updates and none of the crew will tell you the arrival time so are clearly complicit in the deceit. The paid wifi also doesn’t work. PLEASE PLEASE DONT BE SCAMMED LIKE I WAS.

Very bad experience, we have travalled with them for go and return and each time we had a large delay. 1hour for the go, 2hour for the return. We missed our flight back home and had to pay for another ticket, night in Athens for a total of 600euros.

We were leaving from Sifnos, the girl at the reception at the office there was very unprofessionnal and totally unconcerned by the way to reinsure us and find solutions. You can ask refund only on a standard address. Shameful experience.
