Very slow and poor communication
This was my first Kilt order. I wish I had researched the company better. Customer service is quite lacking and communication is not their strong suit. I was ordering my kilt for an event and left plenty of room for delays ... or so I thought. After I had not received a notice of shipment the week before promised delivery I contacted the company and was assured it was in the "final stages" of preparation. At this point I was getting concerned knowing international shipping is typically 2-3 weeks based on my experience. I kept checking and after the initial delivery came up I emailed again with no reply. Again a couple days later and no reply. At this point I contacted another company and was assured of delivery of basically the same item in time. Literally as I am typing an email to cancel my order I get an email with a USPS tracking number. Knowing it had shipped I knew that a refund was off the table. Turns out there was a 2 week delay between the USPS tracking number being generated and USPS actually receiving the package. I assume that they generated the USPS shipping label when it was delivered to the international shipper, but I never got that information. I ended up getting the second order less than a week after I placed this initial order. Given they do not honor the love it or burn it policy they advertise, looks like I'm out on this order. The kilt itself is nice. Waist is slightly larger than my measurement ( unless they aim for the absolute tightest adjustment on the belts rather than midpoint), and it is slightly short, maybe a quarter inch. Glad I got the second kilt it fits much better. Finally, there was an item missing from my order. It was out of stock, but I was never notified. They just didn't ship it. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is that they were quick to respond to my email that I was missing the matching sporran and quickly received that refund.

Received the wrong sized kilt. After the initial 1 star review left on their site they responded to my emails. The customer service representative(s) insist that it was I who made the mistake. Even after showing them the pictures they requested proving that it was the wrong size. Now they do not want the unused incorrectly sized kilt back and state that to "Please also note that return shipping is normally the customer’s responsibility." And of course they will not refund the money for the purchase.
Absolutely horrendous customer service
Absolutely horrendous customer service. I ordered 2 weeks ago today, and added $30 to "rush" the order. Normal shipping time is 3-4 weeks. The item has been sitting with a label created in Jamaica, NY for 9 day now. Fed Ex has yet to receive the item. They also claimed it's being shipped Fed Ex VAT to me, which was 100% a lie. It literally says on the Fed Ex tracking that it's Fed Ex GROUND. (Which is not rush, let alone VAT.) This company lies about rush orders. Not optimistic about what I'll eventually get as far as quality. After this, I don't have high expectations. I've requested the $30 back but they don't answer any messages on their "live customer service" chat box online. LOL Total Joke.
If I could give a zero star I would
If I could give a zero star I would. I order a kilt and ersaid in my wife's family tartan that was supposedly "in stock", only to be notified that it was not actually in stock and was awaiting weaving. When ordering, I paid an additional $200 because this was not a "standard" tartan, on top of the cost of the kilt and ersaid. I specifically ordered from this company, even though they were more expensive than other similar quality manufacturers, because they were supposed to have the tartan available. I have since been waiting 8 months. I was told in December that the weaving was about to be completed and I should be receiving my order in a few weeks. Only to have that contradicted when I reached out a month later, still not having received my order. It's now 3 more months and still awaiting weaving. If you're order standard or limited universal tartans, this company may ne a good choice. But, if you're looking for something specific, you might as well weave it yourself.
I paid for RUSH and they have not shown up!
I ordered items that it said would arrive in 2 weeks and paid $30 rush fees, because I needed them in 25 days and did not want to stress. They did not arrive in time for my family photo and have, in fact, NOT EVEN SHIPPED yet. I have reached out multiple times and have gotten form responses with no actual data. I asked for my order to be cancelled, since it has not shipped and I now do not need it- and have gotten nothing. The shipping label was created (in the UAE) but still nothing. I wish I had looked here at the reviews first! RUN- DO NOT ORDER!
Ordered a kilt, never turned up after a year. Started a Section 75 Claim to get my money back
Ordered a kilt in a tartan that was not in stock, fair enough they told me it could take an extra couple of weeks.
Over a year later, with no explanation to my questions for an update on my order I had to start a Section 75 claim with my bank to get my money back.

I ordered a custom weave kilt with extra fabric. I provided a photoc of the tartan and the color and threadcount of the weave. What I received was off-the rack low quality fabric from Pakistan and not a match for the colors or threadcount. Return and refund was denied because it was a custom order. Support team is unresponsive.

These people can't do simple math
The 2 tee shirts I paid $85 to get were undersized by a good 2" in the chest. I sent them a picture of a tape stretched across showing them being small and their message was the same time and again.
Your shirts were made to the measurements you provided.
Apparently when they add 21+21 it equals 44
Terrible company. Avoid
My order was for the graphite grey Tweed Argyll Day Kilt Outfit. The order came in time but the Colour of the Teed Jacket is wrong, I asked for the light grey and they sent the dark version.
There is no Brown Brogues in the package.
All the clothes are way too big, and the clothes quality is average. With threads hanging out of the seams.
I sent the exact same measurements to kilt4less.co.uk and their clothes are of superior quality and fit perfectly.
I contacted them by email as there is no phone number and i asked for a refund as I would not have my clothes in time for my wedding.
They asked me to send photos and a video of me measuring the clothes, which I did. I have had no response in 4 weeks since.
Do not buy from this Pakistan company.

I received an email more than 24 hours later saying too late - already made. I call BS. You apparently need my money more than I do. You’re def not a Scottish company - Scots have more integrity.

After reading the reviews, I got really nervous.
It was only 3 weeks since I ordered, but I contacted the company anyways.
They responded right away, stating my kilt was shipped and they had the tracking number for me the next day. Kilt arrived 3 days later (today) and it is AWESOME.
I will be ordering from them again in the near future.

I wish I would have found this site before placing my order. I placed an order for an expedited processing and shipping of ladies trousers. As soon as it was placed, my credit card was immediately charged and they also informed me the tartan was not available. As it was a gift, I kept in touch with them for about 8-days wanting to know if this could be made in time, or if I needed to cancel. After no confirmation the item would be available, I asked to cancel. It was then they informed me it was now available and I would incur a custom order charge for cancelling. I still told them to cancel with a dispute of the custom charge, and they shipped the item to me anyway. They allow no returns. I had a similar experience to others here, the item has a heavy solvent/industrial smell to the fabric and it does not fit. I'm now stuck with no ability to return. One other note, I did ask them for help choosing alternative fabrics, and had no response to that inquiry. Lesson learned. Be very careful with on-line retailers.

Measurement were accurately taken on the side of the body, but when worn, it is a mini skirt because of the belly. I paid an extra because it was a plus size order and all the offered to buy more of their products no one knows how to measure on fat people.

I recently ordered a jacket & vest fro Scottish Attire. When it arrived there were some mistakes, some mine in the measurements, some theirs. A bit disappointed, I called. After a very pleasant experience on the phone a reshipment was required. Because of this it was suggested a slightly different jacket could also be done. The suggested substitute arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. I am very pleased with both the fit and the quality of service I received.

Don’t waste your time or money with this place
I have very mixed thoughts on this shop. I placed a total of 3 orders. The first 2 were very good. I got exactly what I ordered in about 4 weeks. My 3rd order was placed on Jan 19,2024 at the 4 week mark I contacted them about my order as a follow up. 2 ladies skirts were ready and 2 were not. They agreed to a partial shipment of the 2 completed items with the other 2 to follow soon after. The partial order arrived 1 skirt was not wearable. Completely unsatisfactory workmanship. I contacted them they said they would replace it when they completed the remaining items. Was told to expect in a couple of more weeks but no specific date as they were in weaving. Ok it is now May 3rd 2024 and still no products. They made a pre shipment label back in the middle of April. Still waiting and am never ordering from here again. Ridiculous.
To top it off they want me to remove my complaints with BBB and PAYPAL and then they will refund my my money! Now if I could give less that 1 star I would.
Crappy Service
After considerable problems from the outset, I agreed to continue with my order for a Scottish Military Doublet. I received the Doublet wrapped in a paper bag and it looked as though it had been rolled up before shipping.
The doublet did not contain the silver/chrome buttons I requested and the collar was tight. I contacted the supplier about the buttons and was told that their staff felt the buttons they used was a better match. I informed the writer that I am not paying his people to offer an opinion, but to simply provide what I ordered. Although the supplier provided a photo of the garment before shipping, you could not tell that the buttons were not chrome.
Since then I have been forced to acquire replacement buttons at my expense and look for a tailor to remove the inner lining to replace the existing buttons. This company should not be in business
Worth the price & wait
Worth the price & wait. Ordered in early Aug & received in mid Jan, following year. Be patient because it’s worth every penny & thread. Give them time to communicate also. They responded timely & were trying. They are good on their word.
