The Holistic course covers a wide range of topics of whole person health, I am impressed by the scope of knowledge and up-to-date scientific information the course delivers.

I didn t like the questions created by ChatGPT. There were mistakes again and again and because of that robot questionnaire some questions didn t make sense. Some weren t even correct. This has reduced the quality of that study.
Please check the questions because you give it to students.

I purchased their 3 course bundle for Holistic Health, Art Therapy, and Sound Healing. I was very excited to start the program, however, unexpected health issues are preventing me from proceeding at this time. I wrote to their customer service team for help processing a refund and I received an extremely prompt reply. Their customer service representative, Michelle, helped me get my refund and let me know that they will be there for when I feel better. I think this speaks highly of their company when they have such wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend working with them.

It was an amazing and challenging experience. While learning about Naturopathy, I learned so much about my own life and the necessary changes I can make to be healthier and more balanced.

20 yrs as a (NCBTMB) Massage Therapist knowledge and experience through the years made this course a great refresher. I loved every moment digging through the modules. It’s not for the faint of heart you have to put the work in but the rewards are so gratifying in the field of service to others on their journey to better health.

I am training to be a teacher and paid for this course under the full understanding that it would not qualify me to be an art therapist, just expecting a little knowledge and maybe a few basic techniques that I could integrate into my day to day work with the children.
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. The course begins with an 'assessment of your listening and communication predisposition' which says whether what you are currently doing is 'correct' or 'incorrect' but does not give you any reference points or clarification as to how they are determining this. The questions are somewhat vague and the responses marked as 'incorrect' sometimes go directly against teachings from recognised professionals in child psychology. For a proponent of mental health advocacy and all that, you would have thought they would have at least phrased this part better.
Then the course itself... I sat and skim-read the summary points of each module, this took me about half an hour, and was then able to complete the final exam and score 90%. You might think this is because of previous knowledge or experience but no. This is because the questions included things like 'what materials would you not give an elderly patient with mobility issues' and the options were 'large pencils, modified tools to help hold drawing implements, thick handled paint brushes or small crayons'. Anyone with any common sense would have met their 80% pass rate. You don't need to read the actual content which was clumsily written and actually contradictory in parts.
The questions I got wrong were due to poor wording and more clumsy writing. One of the questions was about old pieces of art work produced during a session and what to do with them. The answer I chose was to keep hold of them and use them in further sessions, the answer they wanted was use them to explore deeper therapeutic processes (or something like that, I can't remember the exact wording) but my point is: both those answers are technically correct in different situations. If you were at the end of the session - and the wording of the question does imply that you aren't able to use them for therapy at that moment - why would you not keep them for later use? Encouraging a client to pursue a therapeutic process alone if they aren't ready for it does not lead to good things, and they do keep saying that the role of a practitioner is to guide the client through the process, so why would you not keep them to explore at another session?
Which brings me to another issue. Throughout the course there is mention of clients, of sessions, of how to keep patient records and maintaining confidentiality. All of these things are useful later on in your training if art therapy is something you are going to seriously pursue but they have no business whatsoever being in a basic introductory course. While there are a few lines in the description that say this is a training course and that you don't require previous experience, the course content and the exam questions all make it sound like you will be ready to go out and start taking on patients. You are not. This course doesn't give you enough information, experience or detail to do so. It does not provide you the licensing or legal coverage to actually treat people and you could be doing some real harm to people who need help by jumping in without the proper training.
The mindfulness colouring is nice. That's about the best thing I can say.
I know how nit-picky I sound and how small some of these issues are in the grand scheme of things but people's - especially children's - mental health is something that should be taken seriously and protected. This course is just not doing that and I am concerned how many people might take this course and think that this has prepared them to actually be an art therapist.

The course is well organized and full of usable information. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
