Scarlet Darkness had my hopes up before breaking my heart
I ordered from this company in early June and didn't recieve all of the products until mid August.
I waited the 20 days as the website suggested before contacting them first through their instagram, which they responded with no information regarding why my purchase hadn't arrived.
I then tried to email to no reponse, then on Facebook, which I think may have been either a bad connection or they had blocked my mum's account.
They were very hard to get transparency with and they begun screening my texts and not responding, it wasn't until I threatened to file a complaint that they responded and resent what was missing that day...
Missing packaging is one thing, and I can forgive that because I live so far away from where they are situated. I can also forgive waiting long times for responses. But being visibly ignored by them was not ok, and the lack of communicating the fault with the order was like banging my head against a brick wall. The only fault i heard of was that one of the dresses I ordered was out of stock in the colour i wanted for another week....
It showed up mind you... one or two weeks after I threatened to file a complaint.
I do not recommend buying from them if you aren't prepared to fight for your products.
I ended up getting my entire order, thank god.
The jewlery I bought wasn't redicilously expensive but paying anything more than 3 dollars for a ring to not even last more than 24 hrs was disappointing. This didn't feel like the value i was spending on some of the things was not worth it. I like the skirt and the corset fits and that was a joy but the dress felt like costume material.
I won't be getting my heart broken from them again.
Will Steal Your Money
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordering from Amazon seems to be fine, but absolutely DO NOT order from their website. I ordered 3 dresses nearly 2 months ago. After about 3 weeks, I noticed I never got a shipping notification so I emailed them. They said my items are no longer available and that I can pick different items. I ask for a refund for the unavailable items… they said I can pick different items. 2 months later I have received 2 of the dresses, but they are continuing to claim the 3rd dress is no longer in stock (it’s still on the website) and are refusing to refund me for it. Customer service always takes 3-5 days to respond to an email and always respond with a template offering a discount and asking you to choose a different item. I don’t want a different item. I want the item that I ordered, and if that can’t be delivered then I want a refund.
Never received my second order
Made two separate purchases. Ordered a brown bag and the ordered a black bag. Recieved one, but never received the second order. It's been over 3 months and no response to my several inquiries regarding the disposition of the second order. Nothing!

Long shipping times, incomplete order. Inquiried about a refund, they offered me a 10% refund to keep the items. I ordered three items only received one and no info on the other two. A ten percent refund would be completely inadequate.
Theft, incorrect stock and bad customer service.
I ordered 3 dresses for my wedding (for bridesmaids). I got 2 of the dresses and no one bothered to email me about why, so I assumed it was still on its way. I wait a week and nothing shows up so I email them. They sent a copy-pasted email telling me that the 3rd dress was out of stock, this tells me that this happens often. So not only are they incapable of displaying correct stock numbers like every other site seems capable of doing, they decided to just take my money and not send me anything. That is theft. In the same copy-pasted email they said I have the option to exchange for a dress the same price so I chose one and I asked they send it expedited due to my wedding being in 6 weeks. I have yet to hear from them after several days. It took forever to get the first 2 dresses so I'm panicking. This is a horrible company, my guess is that it's barely a company, I think this is a collection of factories with almost no customer service and it is not worth risking ordering from them in case they take your money too.

Company stole money and ignores emails
Scarlet Darkness has beautiful well-made clothing of high quality and beautiful design but appears to be a scam operation. I am still hoping somehow this is a misunderstanding but I have never had such a negative experience with a company in my life. I am disappointed because I was hoping to be a long-term customer. I tried to order something from their site directly to support them instead of Amazon where I have ordered from them before and deeply regret it because now my opinion of the company has changed. I ironically was trying to be a more supportive customer and avoid Amazon.
I ordered a dress from Scarlet Darkness (ORDER #SD40282) on July 8th and after a few weeks realized it hadn’t shipped and I’d gotten no updates. I wrote them assuming the dress was out of stock and asked for a refund. I got no response. I wrote again and received no response and in that email mentioned I’d be fine with an alternative dress if other products were available to replace it. Again, no response. I wrote a third time and mentioned I would wait a few days before contacting my bank to see if I could get the money back and reviewing their business. I was very nice and mentioned I understand they might be overwhelmed. I wrote a fourth time. Still no response. I haven’t received the dress, and I haven’t received the refund or any response.
It’s an awful feeling to not only have your money stolen but to be ignored. The products are really beautiful and well made. I really like what I purchased on Amazon and I would have continued to purchase from them before they stole from me. I’m honestly shocked seeing these reviews because it must just be run by someone who is using it as a scam to steal money. I know I could in the future probably get their items from Amazon but I’m not comfortable supporting a company that is run by someone who seems to hate and have contempt for their customers and wishes them active harm by stealing.
If I could give Scarlet Darkness advice I would say even if you think stealing gets you a little money in the long run, it is better to treat people with dignity and respond to them and not steal their money because then they will be loyal customers. Also spiritually what goes around comes around. If you’re overwhelmed, try to hire more people for customer service. If you fix mistakes, people can be very forgiving because things happen. Also, I don’t mind orders taking time to fulfill. That’s fine. As long as you communicate with your customers and treat them with dignity, they won’t mind orders taking weeks to fulfill as long as you tell them what’s going on. Communication is key for trust.
I still hold out hope that they'll make this right and either refund me or offer an alternative product because I would have loved to continue purchasing from them. That’s the irony of them stealing - if they treated people well, they would ultimately get more money from the customer as they will continue to purchase. I’ll follow up if they do the right thing. I’ve seen them say to people their email responses were blocked. I know I do not have their address blocked because I get their advertisement emails. I remain shocked that people in the world can be so dishonest and steal from others.
If you really want their beautiful products Amazon js probably the only safe way to ensure you’ll receive them. But do you want to support a company that seems to be a scam, ignores customer support emails, and steals money when customers order directly? Thank you.

Do not pay express shipping as it is a scam. Do not expect a timely delivery. I ordered a month ago and they have told me my item was in production and wasn’t available though it’s advertised on their site. I only asked for a credit in the expedited shipping cost since they failed to ship in 7-10 days which is what it says when you pay extra for it. They said they could only provide half of the shipping cost back. The company absolutely doesn’t care about customer service and ethics.

Don't order here. I ordered june 2nd, its been 10 weeks and it still has not been sent, no response on my email asking about it. An instagram message got a response after 6 weeks: the item I ordered is out of stock. Then why could I order it??? No trouble accepting my money for something they could not deliver. I was offered "an extra gift" without telling me what that meant. I asked for a refund, super politely, or suggested some alternative items for the same price that they could send instead, trying to be helpfull. They straight up never responded to that, or any of my follow up messages. No clue if they ever will send, but the "2 weeks" mentioned on the website were a straight up lie, I doubt they will ever pay me back or send me an alternative.

Hard to get a refund
I ordered a dress and jewelry. I never received the dress because it was supposedly out of stock, but that was not indicated at all when I purchased it. The waiting time was very long. It was super complicated to get a refund for the dress. And the jewelry is poor quality, very cheap.

DO NOT buy from Scarlet Darkness. Or at least from their website. I have just been scammed out 270 USD.
There are two situations at play here which I will split up for better understanding.
1. I was messaged by the brand that 3 of the items I have ordered were out of stock. Weird, cause I was able to order them anyway. I have told them I do not wish for a replacement, but rather a refund for the items that are unavailable. To this day, I am still fighting with them for a refund. They absolutely want me to pick replacement items, which I do not want. I wanted the items I have ordered, and if they do not havw them anymore, I would like a refund! Absolute insanity...
2. When ordering, the wrong shipping address had been input. I have messaged them STRAIGHT away that my address was wrong. On the 8th of July, they have acknowledged my email and told me my address was changed. Today, I was told that my package with the available items was delivered to THE WRONG ADDRESS. I went and dug around and saw that my package was shipped on the 10th of July, which means, more fighting, yay. Hope whoever got my package will love those petty dresses that I PAYED FOR.
Anyways, stay away from that company. Perhaps you may have more success ordering from then through Amazon or whatever.

This company is a rip off
This company is a rip off. Placed my order a month ago, they were very quick to take my money and send order details via email. But that's it. Don't expect to actually recieve your order, or shipping information. They take your money and you will never hear another word. I've emailed both customer service addresses they provide, and messaged them on Facebook (the only 2 options they leave for communication). DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

Do not trust the shipping policy
I ordered through their website on 6/21/25. I checked the shipping policy, assuming it was accurate. My items have not shipped. I have reached out to the customer service emails multiple times hoping for an update, but they do not respond. I would be happy to be patient despite the delay, if they had any semblance of customer service.

Zero stars is too many. I ordered a dress in April and still not here! No reply to emails or any form of contact! Requested a refund and nothing. I want my money back not the dress. Definitely never ever ordering from here again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Firstly, the sizing is so off that you could order the same exact item in 10 colors and they would all look and feel very differently. I tried contacting this company via phone, email, Instagram, everything. They never respond. I want to return the item I purchased and they don't respond. It's been over a month. This is just another scammy Chinese company that purposely refuses to answer communications via email so that they can run out the clock so they can refuse to refund you or help you. Their website states you must obtain permission from them to send refunds back and of course, the mailing address appears to be in China.

I ordered a corset and realized I didn't need it, and emailed less than 5 minutes later to request cancellation. They didn't reply until 7 days later, and to summarize a lengthy roundabout exchange of emails, they claimed that I could not get a full refund and would need to pay for shipping if I chose to return my order, despite the fact I had done everything in my power to cancel it before it was shipped and the fault was with them for not responding soon enough. When I continued to push back, their responses became shorter and their last one made zero sense with the context of our discussion after I pointed out their misleading policies and the fact I had requested cancellation immediately after my order was placed. This tells me that this company has potentially written policies and purposefully had slow response time to ensure that a full refund will never be possible.
Ordered through Amazon and had zero problems, plus it was cheaper. Just avoid their website.

Ordering through their site is super slow, took months to deliver, and they do not honor returns, instead offering 10% off or a coupon and free item. I would think that would be more than the return shipping cost but alas. I've heard Amazon may be better but have not and will not order from them again after my experience.
